Anyone else TTC number 2 in their mid-30s and fancy some company? 😊 I’m 35, have a DD who is just about to turn 4, and we’ve just started our first cycle trying for number 2. I feel like we’d ^just^ reached the glorious stage of proper sleep, no nappies, actual conversations and being able to leave the house without half of the house crammed into a changing bag… so naturally I decided what our lives really need is a newborn 😂 I went very Type A when TTC my DD and turned the whole thing into a project - LH strips, BBT, supplements, special lube, the works 🙈 This time I’m trying very hard to be more relaxed and go with the flow. Trying being the operative word 😂 Would love some company from anyone in a similar boat: TTC number 2, mid-30s, slightly excited, slightly questioning their own sanity and trying not to symptom spot at 2DPO 😂 PS. Currently on cycle 1 and my fertile window is just about closing, so now entering the very calm and rational part where I definitely won’t analyse every bodily sensation for the next two weeks 😂🙈

@CasualOverthinker- that was the type of line I was getting on FRER (and I can definitely see the bottom one better!). I got the clear blue ultra early advanced which is the pink dye one and it was MUCH easier to see. Which surprised me. I had a wee and then dehydrated myself for three hours before I took it!

I've lost count on my dpo. I'm hoping its a case of pregnancy tests just not detecting it. I was around 5 weeks when I got a positive with my youngest so its possible. Got to wait 3 weeks before doctors will do a blood test

@Agathapoirot I bought some Clear Blue advanced ultra mega early lol. The names they come up with… question is do I waste one later this afternoon/evening or try to wait till tomorrow??

I caved this morning and had a BFN, 12dpo. I was cleaning the potty while waiting for the timer to be up, turned round and toddler had continued his 💩 on the bathroom mat 💀 times have changed since my last round of TTC!

I had a picture of my test but realised I took it over the pot of wee so I'll spare everyone 😂

I can for sure see it clearer in the bottom test. Can you pick up any different tests so you can rule out indent?

Hey girls! Thanks so much for your replies and kindness to my unhingedness lol.

I have a non-update tbh.
Did a FMU FRER this morning and I still see what I can only describe as a whisper of a line. There is no obvious pink line. But it’s not entirely stark white test either. I would say yesterday I took me a good 15 min of squinting to spot that “shadow/line” whereas this morning it took me like 1.

I think realistically there’s only 2 possibilities.

either it’s still way too early for me, and this is the pre-beginning of a line, and needs another 48 h or so, or
it’s dud tests and this is indent, evap, or something totally unrelated to pregnancy

My period is supposedly due between Fri and Mon, so I think if there is nothing definitive on Fri morning, then it probably isn’t it for me.

@Agathapoirot I caved and tested at 8dpo this morning, fully knowing it was going to be negative anyway but I couldn't help myself 🫣 I have the worst line eyes, always think I can see something, especially on the cheap strip ones!

Started testing this morning at 9dpo, for god knows what reason. I know it’s negative but I still think I see a shadow on every test I do 🤣 If I was made of money I’d just do digitals, no need to keep looking at those every five minutes just in case it’s changed 🤣🤣

I haven't caught up with everyone yet but wanted to pop in and say @CasualOverthinker... I see it!!! Very similar to my 4dp5dt (9dpo) evening test... but darker because you can actually take a picture. 😂 I have everything crossed for you and look forward to the update.

So I'm 12dpo tomorrow. Big plan is to test on Friday, day before AF is due. I'm bloated, cramping, exhausted like unusually so, sore boobs, feeling on/off nauseous in the afternoons which I didn't until 5.5 weeks last time. Just like hmm someone who's PMSing? I'm suddenly desperate to test but trying everything to hold out now.

If I test tomorrow morning and it's negative I think I'd feel crap and also like it's still not a definitive no. Same for Thursday probably and I've got plans with the toddler both mornings. Friday he's back at nursery so gives me a bit of room to sit in my feelings if it's negative. And big thing this time I don't want to tell DH any good news before it's really definite either, but I also don't want to keep the secret for days. All signs point to find out for sure on Friday but goddamn waiting is hard!

It may well be a shadow, the angle of the photo, an indent… or perhaps we both just have spectacular line eyes. 🤷🏻‍♀️
The thing that’s thrown me is that I’m not usually a squinty person. I’ve never been one of those people who can convince themselves there’s “something” there. My tests have always either been unmistakably negative or very obviously positive, with no in-between, so this has thrown me for a loop a little bit.
If you can’t tell from my many posts that have (not so) slowly descended into madness over the past week or so… uncertainty and I are not friends. 🙃😂

And before you say it, I know. I should put it in the bin, forget about it, stop squinting, and maybe re-test with FMU on like a Thu morning. That’s what a reasonable person would do. But it’s me, so…have I totally and utterly lost the plot??

I see it! In the first photo it's easier to see, fingers crossed for you that it's the start of something!

Hey! I'm currently 7dpo, bought some tests today but probably going to test at 9dpo earliest. Have had dull cramps most of the day the past couple of days and some short sharp pains low down today. Trying not to get my hopes up but feeling cautiously optimistic. Hope you all have some answers soon too ladies 🫶

And for everyone still in the TWW, how are we all holding up? Has anyone else tested? Anyone managing to stay sane? (If so, please share your secrets because I clearly don’t possess that skill 😂)

Little update from Clown HQ 🤡… I’m still very much in limbo. My apps have completely fallen out with each other, so I’ve given up trying to work out where I am in my cycle. I have officially purchased OPKs for next month because I refuse to be gaslit by algorithms ever again. 😂

I last tested yesterday morning which could have been anywhere from 10DPO to 5DPO and haven’t tested again since that spectacularly offensive snow-white negative, and I’m trying to hold out a little longer before peeing on any more sticks.

I also have a delightful selection of “symptoms” that could either mean absolutely everything or absolutely nothing 😂 Hot overnight for the last couple of nights, slightly sore boobs, bloated, gassy (apologies for the glamour 🙈)… basically feeling like an absolute vision of femininity right now. 🤣

I'm in limbo too, had faint positives last week. And yesterday big fat negative. Phoned the doctors and they said if AF dont arrive with in 3 weeks then to phone back and they'll do a blood test. At the moment theres not much they can do.
Hope you get some clarity soon
