Anyone TTC number 2 in your mid-30s and fancy company?

Hi! I’m 35 next week and on my 10th cycle for child #2. My daughter just turned 5. After having a regular cycle always, and DTD 5 times in my fertile window (with flashing smileys), I’m 5 days late and had negative tests 2 days ago but a static smiley OPK🫠 don’t know how I’ve ovulated 2 weeks later, so now re-entering the 2WW.. this journey is a head f*😅😅 wishing everyone a positive month ❤️

Hey ladies cycle day 13 here, waiting on the surge and the solid smiley, iv decided this month to try both premom and clear blue (aren’t they soooo expensive) just to compare ! I have everything crossed this month for us all! Let the BFPs roll in 🥹🥹❤️

Im on cycle day 9, premom says this is my fertile period with ovulation on Sunday. Im away this weekend without hubby so will need to try and plan for Friday night and Sunday night if possible.

I feel totally calm about it all now, I’m just dreading next week when I know I’ll turn psychotic. I’ve purposely not bought any more tests and I’m going to try and not test, and just see if my period turns up or not.

Hi, Im 35 on my third month of trying. I’m currently on CD14 and according to the apps ovulation has happened. Hoping for some positive news this cycle 🤞🏻

How is everyone doing?

I’m cycle day 9 and have had really bad one sided pain just like ovulation. I’m pretty consistent and a week off when I’d normally ovulate. Can I have ovulated a week early?! Or maybe a cyst?
I only track ovulation by CM, app and ovulation pain which I get consistently each month. I suppose the message may be to track better! I gave up using sticks when they said I didn’t peak but I had ovulation pain and then a positive preg test that month 😆

@Peedthebed I tend to use Premom to keep track and log everything and I find it to be helpful as a guide. Ovulation can be up to 36 hours after you hit peak OPK so ovulation may not always be the following day depending on the timing of the surge so that could possibly be why one might say different? Hope that makes sense 😅

This thread has been helpful before so just wondering if anyone can advise on the different apps I’ve got. I’m on FF and Premom, I’ve put all the same data in each (opks, bbt, symptoms) and they’ve given me different DPOs
its only out by one day but I’m trying to hold out testing and to know how accurate my test is likely to be. Any idea why they might be different? Or which one to trust?

Still negative. All of my PMS symptoms have also completely stopped overnight so I assume period will be imminent!

Well I took a test and it’s a bfn as expected! I think this must just be my period coming early for whatever reason. Hopefully just a one off and not the sign of something wrong 🤦‍♀️

My highest LH ratio was on CD16 (19th july, matching a 31 day cycle) and also due Sunday/Monday.

I was told I'd struggle to conceive, so DH and I started trying and got pregnant cycle 2 (first cycle using OPKs) with our first - i know that is extremely lucky!

Started trying for #2 using OPKs, got pregnant cycle 2 again but had a chemical at 5 weeks beginning of this month so this is cycle 3.

@Foreverhopeful92 @FlyingHighFlyingLow thats so difficult, it feels so cruel doesn’t it. I remember the first cycle we were ttc dc1, af came 3 days late, which never ever happens to me. Keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway.
Im 5dpo now, I’m going to try and hold out until Wednesday to test but already struggling a bit not to order any tests

Sorry to hear you’re also in limbo and going through this! How strange that it seems like we’re in the exact same boat in that this has never happened before for either of us. I wasn’t planning to test til tomorrow but I am tempted to hold this afternoon and do one just to confirm what I think is the case and that I’m definitely out.
Did you test with OPKs mid cycle? I don’t always test as go by my body but sometimes take one to confirm and I did this time and had a strong positive at CD14 which would align with me being due on Sunday/Monday so I do think my predicted dpo is right.
how long have you been trying? This is month 7 for us but baby #1 took 18 months so I just hope it happens quicker this time.

I'm having similar. Cramping and red tinged cm around 7/8dpo. Yesterday (9 dpo) my boob's are so sore, I'm having ovulation pains in my side, EWCM. Ovulation test super faint though. Today nothing but I'm spotting bright red fresh blood not mixed with cm at 10 dpo. I'm only CD27, normally 30-32 day cycles. Tests have been really clear negatives and I have tested positive by now all other times I've been pregnant

So I’m still in limbo but I think my period is coming early 😭 not sure what’s gone on this cycle! Monday evening and all day Tuesday had pink/brown tinged cm, tiny bit on liner but mainly when wiped (think I was 9/10 dpo) also had cramping. Yesterday nothing at all. Today nothing this morning but just been to the toilet and some staining on liner but similar to Tuesday, went to wipe and definitely blood rather than cm on the tissue. Put a new liner in not a pad and nothing on it so far.
i assume it’s my period and it’s come early but this has never happened before. I never spot and I usually get my period on what would be 15dpo.
I’m 11/12 dpo today.

I expect it’s just an anomaly but why do our bodies do this when TTC 😭😭

Thanks but I'm pretty sure I'm most likely out! 10 dpo, stark BFN and I have bright red spotting so probably AF starting with the chemical screwing my hormones a bit!

Hey ladies I took a little break when I got my AF but now I’m back on the ovulation sticks waiting for the peak ❤️ we have a really busy week so not sure how it will go but we will do our best to cover the window and see what happens!
