Conceiving without orgasm

You need to stop thinking about it and have sex when you fancy it. Worrying will not help you conceive.

I do understand the mechanics of reproduction and of course the woman doesn't have to be in any particular position for conception to occur but, myth or not, it worked for me after 3 years of infertility treatment and a friend.

Just because you find it hard to believe doesn’t make it not true, it is purely a physical thing for some women, not a “mind and body” thing, hence the UN explanation about the shame because people’s responses is the implication that if it happens, it must be liked, because “mind and body”.
i am a woman, I know this is true for horrific reasons and like the un report it is a huge source of shame and can’t really be discussed (to help get through the trauma) as there is always that air of well that’s not true that’s a man’s myth, it’s a mind and body thing etc etc therefore you must have enjoyed it if it happened to you.

I find that hard to believe, a man can have a auto erection and ejaculation but i think a female orgasm is mind as well as body. Are u sure the writer isn't a man?

Its a horrible truth that woman can and sometimes do physically orgasm during rape and it's a HUGE source of shame for those individuals. I added it to the conversation because someone said earlier in the thread that women don't and it's the kind of misconception that should be fact-checked.

It is actually a massive element of rape myths, that
1 women can't get pregnant from rape
2 if they do, it's because they weren't actually raped and must have had an orgasm

Came here to say this. In fact I suspect that's where the idea came from - it served men well to propagate the idea that a woman who became pregnant must have enjoyed it.

I understand the grasping for a reason that you've not fallen pregnant - I did the same when it took me ages to conceive. But it's got nothing to do with the female orgasm.

We have a gynaecologist friend. He said his number one piece of advice is have sex every other day. No testing kits, temperature taking, just that.

Go away on holiday chuck away all conceiving bits and just have a nice time. You would be amazed how many times people have struggled to conceive then went on holiday and came back with a nice surprise!

Oh wow, I thought it was only that girl from Bridgerton who thought this!! Anyway, I got pregnant both times without orgasm. I had twins when I had unprotected sex earlier in my cycle than I thought I could get pregnant.

Afterwards just swivel round on your bum and put your legs up on the wall and lie flat on your back. Try and tilt your pelvis up a bit at times. I also used the conceive plus lube someone just mentioned. My eldest is nearly 4 and I remember this all so clearly, I wish you the very best of luck.

I never orgasm during sex. I have two children one conceived the second month of trying and one the first month after only trying 4 days during that month.

We used that for a year, and nothing. Honestly, I’d leave it to the experts if you have been ttc for a long time and have been unsuccessful.
