I think I will do the same as you wait until I am 12 weeks (only 7 weeks to go). I wont be able to hind it much past that anyway the way my belly is growing

Hi Tink, sounds like you had a fruitful trip!
LB, I think I'll tell work when I'm 12 weeks, just so that they can arrange cover for me. It half passed my mind to mention something in last week's staff development/planning session, but thought it ridiculous to possibly change the whole year plan when I was only 6 weeks pregnant!
There are no hard and fast rules (think you have till about 18 weeks??)so just tell when you feel ready I'd say

lardybump · 28/06/2008 15:11

hi tink I bet your hair looks lovely.

When are you all telling your work that you are pg? I am not sure when to do it!

You are not really 38 it is a trick. You dont look, act, dress or think like a 38 year old. and I am not 34 either... he he he he

LOL LB, I am the same re: lack of local friends! I made a few when on maternity leave, but then lost touch when back at work..most friends now seem to be old friends of dh's, and a lot older than me! In fact the woman in the couple we are going out with tonight has always struck me as in her late 40s early 50s (re: personality, clothes, attitudes, looks etc), but I have just heard that she is actually a year younger than me ...I think I am a young 38 (think Heat magazine type person)so maybe more about my immaturity!
Right, really must get some work done!!

lardybump · 28/06/2008 12:13

I would love to go out every now and then but my dp never wants to go out. I may have to leave him in and go out with some friends on my own one day. (note to self must get some friends in this area to go out with....)

Awww LB, hope you get through work OK - horrible on a Saturday even when you're not feeling yucky . Hi SES
Well dh has taken dds out for lunch at Morrisons' cafe, to give me a chance to get some more marking done ...what he doesn't know is that I have a secret rendevous with my other man ...Nadal is playing this afternoon ..
On a rare evening out tonight, for a meal with friends. Why is it that I always set these things up but would like nothing better than to stay in when the time comes? ..the older I get the more ant-social I become .

lardybump · 28/06/2008 11:54

Nice work diege.

Hello everyone. Well I am working till 6 again today. I have bad tummy ache and feel really sick. But apart from that I am ok.... How about you are you all ok?

Diege · 28/06/2008 10:24

Hectotic - an adjective to describe toddler-induced frenzy

Diege · 28/06/2008 10:17

Have a lovely time TINKS Hectotic here at the moment, but pop back later!

Ses15 · 27/06/2008 18:23

Right, I'm off to cook dinner and sort the washing out - how exciting!! Maybe catch you later

Ses15 · 27/06/2008 18:20

Well I've not done my temperatures before either.... Maybe I'll wait and see what happens in the next few months with CM and cycle length (always used to be 28-32 days) and then consider OPKs and temping.

lardybump · 27/06/2008 18:17

Yes ses you get one month free then have to pay. Really good if you temp..

Ses15 · 27/06/2008 18:10

I used OPKs for 3 months before getting pg in February. Seemed to help with the conception at least...! Never knew about the CM stuff until I logged on to MN! Once things get back to normal, I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on it though as it seems to have worked for many of you!

Also is it fertility friends that you use too??

Diege · 27/06/2008 18:05

Beryl the peril is great Kooky . BTW I think it's very common for some women to ovulate but the opks not to pick up the 'surge'; I think that's why I didn't even try then when ttc n0.4 and just went off CM

kookykid · 27/06/2008 17:50

Hello everyone! Quite of all your symptoms!! Silly isn't it??!

Welcome back, NJ, you've been missed! Hope you had a good hol - have a good weekend.

Congrats again, Aunty. March babies are FAB!

I did another OPK stick this afternoon and still nothing, but I take a bit of comfort that you got no positive with them when ttc DD3, Diege.

Am LOVING Wimbledon. Oh and our kittens have new names as it turns they they are both girls. They are going to be Minne and Beryl after the Beano characters. WHat do you think? I like Minnie but still not sure about Beryl!

lardybump · 27/06/2008 17:35
