lardybump · 04/07/2008 17:39

Also (sorry to bore you) but your finance company can get done for misrepresenation as the dealer was working as an agent on their behalf so the finance company will ALWAYS protect your interests. If you get messed about again call your finance company and tell them what has happened and ask for their help..

If they do mess you about tomorrow then hand the car back and demand the agreement be recinded [sp?) and that you get your deposit back because it is the CCA and SGA that they are breaking. They havent got a leg to stand on.

I hope it is a bloody full tank...

Well DH pointed out how much an hour he will lose from having to not go to work, the sales bloke said he can't give him his wages, but he will put some fuel in the car

DH says if they piss us around tomorrow, he is going to make a big poster explaining whats happened, park outside the entrance to the showroom, and let people see it before they even walk in the gates LOL Made me chuckle

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 17:32

lardybump · 04/07/2008 17:31

Nat - they sound like a right pain! Hope it gets sorted tomorrow.

Right, I have to go now. DH left work early today and is already at home so I better go and join him!

Have a good weekend everyone!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 17:30

Meant to say, there are things you can do to lengthen your LP, just can't remember what they are Might be worth on search on MN/google.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 17:29

Right back from town, shopping always helps!

Apparently the sales guy rang DH this afternoon told him that he'd known since 11 o'clock this morning that they weren't going to come and get the car today, DH asked why he hadn't been told at 11, guy skirted round, but basically because he knew DH would blow his top! Dh said he just about managed to get through the conversation without swearing at him! Now DH will have tomorrow morning off work, to take the car to them, change the tyres, get the tracking sorted (if it needs it - the tyres are fine on one side of them, but bold on the inside side ..... anyway...) and then will have to do his work later in the day It is the only way we will have the car for the weekend. So fingers crossed that if DH get's stopped on the way (which is very unlikely) that he doesn't get a tosspot police man, and they give him the chance to prove he is going to get them changed, else it will be 6 points and a £120 fine! Nice!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Arnold Clarke - tossers in disguise!

T'is good being able to rant and rave and swear on here though!

Playingthe9monthwait · 04/07/2008 17:25

LOL Glask!

glaskham · 04/07/2008 17:21

its funny!! i just cant seem to keep clothes on him after about 4pm!! he normally gets in from nursery and strips!! but then he stands on his train table in the front window!!! little flasher!!

Heebeejeebee · 04/07/2008 17:21

Hi all

Just got back from a spa - work got all generous and sent us there for an afternoon (even threw in a treatment!!!) so am now feeling very relaxed watching two pigeons GOFing in the garden..

LBOT - I'm worried about my LP too - its 10 days usually, but this month I had spotting on day 8 and 9 before AF arrived. I've tried vit b which didn't do a great deal but I'm now on the Zita West conception vitamins which seem to have mahoosive amounts of everything in them so maybe that will have an effect. Off to the drs on Monday am anyway to get him to refer me back to the hospital for tests so will ask him then.

Nat - hope they came to pick up the car!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 04/07/2008 17:16

Yeah, will be good when we can start using it!!! Thanks for the welcome LB!

lardybump · 04/07/2008 17:15

OP posts:
Playingthe9monthwait · 04/07/2008 16:57

Yep, its well down the list. Its called "back on the wagon£

lardybump · 04/07/2008 16:56

Is there really another thread with wagon in the title???

OP posts:
lardybump · 04/07/2008 16:53

Right I have now read everything but forgotten most of it .

Diege I am not really bad. I am not actually being sick (although have had to run to the loo a few times today) but feel nauseous all day long. So please just ignore my winging...

Calls thanks for the tips am going to get some cream crackers tomorrow and will nibble when ever I can... DD always has me running around in the mornings unfortunately and what with her teeth have been having bad nights so that is probably making me worse as well...

Like the idea of preggie pops so I am going to investigate those and the travel sickness bands.

Hi to everyone else I tested and got a BFP 10dpo I used FR and eBay cheapys......

Thats an intersting opinion GYo. I don't think I'm ready to tell mates (apart from the couple that already know) but telling family feels right as we are all very close and I have already told my sis!

I can't use driving as I live 200m from the pub. I could use antibiotics and that would string it out a week or two but not much more. I could probably think of other excuses too, but sooner or later someone will get suspicious and start asking questions. It could be in a week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, possibly longer but it will happen. Plus I am bursting to tell my Mum at least!

tinkspregnantwithnumber2 · 04/07/2008 16:50

ft/evening girls

i watched personal services required i love these sort of programmes too i liked mickey he was sexy. hated the the blond haired women with the daugter she baley had an office or phone.
agree man weird too asking the women to do all that.

it is up to you playing
i told my parents as soon as i found out with both.
found out @ 7wks with dd1 and 4 wks this time. told close friends that i c each week this time 2 straight away.
nat hope u got car sorted out.

Playingthe9monthwait · 04/07/2008 16:47

Maybe you're right Glask. I would tell my parents if there was a problem so why not tell them now? Think I'll keep it quiet from everyone else basically as long as it takes someone to ask outright. At least if my immediate family know, if someone else finds out and the rumour is spread its not really a problem. I certainly wouldn't tell extended family/work/vague friends but in a close knit community I would probably tell people if I mc so I can't really see how it would hurt if they found out over the next few weeks. And sods law I would wait till 12 weeks, tell everyone and mc anyway!
