glaskham · 08/07/2008 20:03

god i'm useless- i'd do something old school and just call it 'the wagoners thread for ttc'ers and those who are so addicted they are hanging on the wheels'.... see crap!!!

glaskham · 08/07/2008 20:01

and DD had a suspicious rash like you describe last week, i think it was just bad heat rash, she's still got VERY faint marks from where they were as she scratched them so much!!

DD also has her 2.3y review at 10am tomorrow... kinda looking forward to it, but do wonder how she'll do....

calsworld · 08/07/2008 19:58

Crikey, well spotted Glaskham...oh god, I hate choosing new titles...any suggestions?

glaskham · 08/07/2008 19:54

Cals -im in the same boat, DH at work late and sat on here!! New thread??

calsworld · 08/07/2008 19:38

You lot are so not helping my craving!!

Been to collect DS and whilst feeding him his tea he was furiously scratching the back of his head, he's got some little spots there and he's drawn blood, stripped him off and investigated and he's got some on his forehead, arms, legs, tummy, back....Fortunately, I have a good stock of medised and am looking forward to an undisturbed sleep for both of us having given him a full dose!

If anyone suggests chicken pox I might scream.

Actually, I think it might be eczema, so will be taking him to the doc this week at some point to get it checked. He's got a very def. eczema rash on his back between his shoulder blades that we've been managing with sudocrem that could probably do with something stronger anyway.

I'm whiffling again aren't I? Sorry, DH is working late tonight and haven't spoken to anyone all day! Poor DH will get his ear talked right off when he gets in!

Diege surely your mum would be pleased for you wouldn't she????

My dad is always the one I dread telling. I always chicken out and get my mum to do it. Not because he is mean but because he always says some smart comment and gets my back up...

OP posts:
Diege · 08/07/2008 18:20

Wow LB, 7 weeks already . It really doesn't seem 5 minutes since you got your bfp!
Veering towards telling my Mum on Thursday after all, I think . I am such a conflict avoider and you'd think I was 14 years old by the way I'm worrying about it...Will play it by ear I think!
Right bedtime routine beckons!

lardybump · 08/07/2008 17:43

I have caught up at last.

NJ Ned is a lovely name I really like it.

Star congratulations that is great news.

As far as smoking. I gave up as soon as I found out I was pg with dd but once I stopped breast feeding I did have the odd one if I was having a drink. Stopped again as soon as I got this bfp and thankfully because of the sickness havent thought about it once.....

I am 7 weeks and one day now and am having my scan on Friday.....

Playingthe9monthwait · 08/07/2008 17:19

Right you lot I am off home cos I am shattered. Speak to you tomorrow, Bye xx

Playingthe9monthwait · 08/07/2008 17:17

Thankg God I have never smoked is all I can say. And as a non smoker I can always smells smoke in a room, on breath or on clothes, so Cal, your DH probably will too!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 08/07/2008 17:00

Cal/Kooky, I am so with you, have always given up when pregnant, and in between times just had the odd one, never found it difficult to go without, never found it hard to give up, but this time..... I haven't had one, but my god, what I would give to have one! I find myself following people around town if they are smoking just so I can smell it LOL It doesn't help that if you mention to someone round here that you've given up because your pregnant they look at you like you're the most strangest being they ever come across, I do sometimes wish I could be as guilt free as them, and think fuck it, but I know I'd never forgive myself if something happened.

But to sit out in the garden in the wind and rain sunshine and have a ciggarette.....

Diege · 08/07/2008 16:52

Hmm, better change my age too

Star - March babies are FAB! DD was born on the 19th. (Admittedly she was due 23rd Feb, but v glad she was born in March!) Heading into Spring is a lovely time to have a newborn.

kookykid · 08/07/2008 16:45

Cal, cycle always 30/31 days so due tomorrow/Thurs. have my usual Af symptoms - skin outbreak, sore boobs, irrittable and crampy tummy. Plus 2 BFNs with early pg tests. Not looking hopeful this month!!
I am going to have a fag if AF turns up!!!!! So don't feel too bad!
