@AndyBerrick84 being referred is the start and might be that kick up the butt your natural cycle needs lol. Honestly though its hard what ever way we look at it. The waiting game is the worst and then you have the whole oh I done so much this month and still didnt catch. Its just a pain in my rear lol. Im trying to eat a bit healthier meals. I doubt my weight is an issue as I weighed myself this morning and im 65.5 kg so don't think thats am issue xx

Ahhh, it's so frustrating. It's such a waiting game, and those few days before your period is due are always the hardest. Give it a couple more days and see what happens. Fingers crossed for you! 🤞

We're being referred for IVF because of our age and the fact we've been trying for over six months. I'm still really hopeful we'll conceive naturally before we get to that point, but we're getting closer and closer to the 12-month mark now.

I’m exactly the same! Around ovulation I’m always so excited and hopeful, and can’t wait to get going. Then a couple of days before my period, the usual PMS symptoms kick in and I’m like, "Well, I’m out again!" 😂

I spoke to the doctor today and he’s putting in a referral for IVF. All of our tests have come back normal, and since we’ve now been trying for over 6 months. We can be referred. (we’re on cycle 9). I’m 38 and turn 39 this year, so I don’t have long before I reach the age cut-off, and I’ve got no idea how long the waiting list is.

I’m still really hoping it happens naturally for us, but I’m also aware that time isn’t exactly on our side. The thought of IVF is pretty daunting.

@AndyBerrick84 I’m due AF this week also but not until Saturday/Sunday so only abt 6/7 dpo today, deff find myself paying more attention to notice any wee twinges but nothing so far. I felt so hopeful around ovulation but feel like nope deff not pregnant today 😞 I’ll try hold out testing until Saturday but we’ll see 😅 anyone testing over the next few days?

@AndyBerrick84 hey lovely! Urgh I had some cramping over weekend and some today im due on Saturday. Now 9dpo and I had done a test this morning which was negative I know its still VERY early but I was hopeful for this month. I have sore boob's, some nausea and then the cramping. Cervix is still high but dunno if thats different or not haha!

I keep imagining symptoms and its driving me mad, im only 4 or 5 dpo and I keep getting a stitch like pain on left hand side! I know its not anything as too early!

Anyone else due this week hoping it’s their month?

@ByAquaFox How you getting on cycle buddy? I’ve got my usual PMS symptoms and feel like my period is about to come. Due tomorrow or Wednesday, just generally cramping and low mood 😔

Finally my lh levels are rising since coming off the patch on the 23rd June 😊

First cycle using OPKs. Managed to DTD cycle day 13 but not 14. Worth trying again today? Would have done day 11 & 12 but the 2 yo has been a koala bear in this heat.

@MixedBananas that's good to hear as I think we actually missed ovulation day and the day before!

I just wamted to add that coverage of BD when fertile CM is around shows better pregnanxy success by X2. Compares to using OPKs and waiting on a + which can be too late. 2 or 3 days pre ovulation is better.

Thanks. Took another test this morning and it was much fainter than the previous two so much that I can hardly see it so sadly I do think it’s a chemical. Feeling quite sad but never mind. Baby dust to everyone for next month!

Also I feel like everyone else’s BFPs before 14 dpo are so dark already so feeling scared about how faint these are!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply - really appreciate it! The photos are the actually other way around (dunno why it uploaded funny) - the left one is today and the right one yesterday… I tested once at 10dpo which was negative, then again yesterday and today.

It’s so hard not to get hopes up but also want to protect myself against AF showing up any time now…

If the left is yesterday and the right is today it looks darker to me. HCG takes 48 hours to double and also tests are not quantative so it could be lighter if you had more to drink one day than the other so try not to worry. I've seen plenty of stories of tests that were faint at this stage and continued in to healthy pregnancies. Have you only tested today and yesterday? Cramping and spotting can be normal in early pregnancy too. It's worth contacting your gp if you can as well because I think progesterone can help with spotting. Everything crossed for you!!

Hi! I’m new here and am so glad I’ve found this thread! I’m 14DPO but have had cramping and spotting for past two days. My test today (attached) and yesterday have been sooo faint - I’m so confused does this mean it’s likely a chemical as there’s no progression and I have period-like symptoms? Cervix yday was super low and hard but today higher… it’s all so anxiety inducing!

This is exactly how I feel. I could have written this expect I’m now cycle 10. The one year mark seems looming. My husband tries to think of it as like pulling straws and the more we pull out the closer we’re getting. Hope this cycle is the one for both of us x

@Posypear as long as uve hit O-1 and or O-2 / O I wouldn’t worry. I would think 3 days after peak is possibly past ovulation anyways so getting in before that is 💯 .
ive deff found getting key days tough with toddler too, just so many factors isnt there!

I am just around 2/3 dpo and so glad as we have a heatwave starting here, temps much higher than we are used to, dont think I could cope with having to dtd too 😅

So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my pregnancy at 4w and 3 days in January and although we only knew about it for a week it still hit me like a truck. I have every hope for the future for us both. Everything crossed for this cycle <3

I’m out, period started today heavy as anything with no warning beforehand lol - now onto cycle 9, not feeling very positive, just can’t see it happening before the year mark argh

We had to miss day 3 after positive ovulation test as DH was working late. It's so hard fitting in around a toddler and my DH's busy job! Hopefully we'll be covered anyway but annoyed we didn't follow SME plan properly.
