I was just wondering if anyone else is entering the TWW and wanted to symptom spot together so I don't drive myself mad.

DTD CD9 and CD11 and I think I ovulated on D13 🤞🏻

@purpleicedbun well I ended up driving myself crazy today with the test (attached a pic). I could swear I could see a faint line / shadow… but I looked at it so much I was going cross-eyed. I was so desperate that I went outside and held it up to the sun 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️ god help me honestly…

@IThinkImThirtySomething I couldn't wait that long either and tested just now as I've started feeling really nauseous... I think here's a VERY faint line on the test but ChatGPT told me otherwise😅I guess I have to wait til Sunday again now ahhh. Also tested early last time, which then had faint lines but ended up being a chemical so I really should have waited.

IThinkImThirtySomething · 19/06/2026 11:18

@NibblesMaplestick I wouldn’t count yourself out until AF arrives! You never know. It can take a while for HCG to be detected, testing before AF isn’t really advised (I just can never wait that long 😂!) my period is due in 6 days so I’d like to think an early detection test would pick something up… the test I used this morning was out of date by 2 years 😂 I’ve got some first response being delivered by Amazon man today though so will likely shamelessly test tomorrow AM again even though I said I’d wait until Saturday 😝

@Matchalattecoco my son is 6 and a half (Jan 1st baby) so will be between 7, depending on when we get pg - when we have another (if we are lucky). If we don’t get pregnant by the end of this year we have agreed to be OAD, as I don’t really want the age gap much bigger than what is will be, and don’t want to put all our lives on hold whilst we ttc, so I am really hoping we catch <6m 🤞🏼

Matchalattecoco · 19/06/2026 11:00

@IThinkImThirtySomething
Aw how old is your son? I have an almost 4 year old girl.

I think I had expected to see a faint positive by 9DPO if I was pregnant too, but then maybe not If implantation was later, plus it can take HCG a while to rise too.

I’m not feeling optimistic but naturally still symptom spotting haha 🤦‍♀️ I did feel a bit nauseous yesterday and today when I hadn’t eaten and I’m still quite wet CM wise whereas normally I’d be quite dry before my period. You got any potential symptoms?

DmcinT · 19/06/2026 10:36

@NibblesMaplestick if u only implanted Wednesday (by RHR dip) it wouldn’t be possible to detect hcg by today, it would take a good 4-6 days before it would build enough to be detected on early detection tests so I think u could be very much so still in the running. 🤞🏽

I was just looking at mine and I had a dip Tuesday with steady increase since but then I was travelling Wednesday and all the busyness of pools, toddler holiday life etc could have caused the rise, hard to know. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Matchalattecoco that is so sickening and so easy done 🫣😫

NibblesMaplestick · 19/06/2026 09:06

@IThinkImThirtySomething it is really rubbish isn't it ☹️ I think I'm 9/10 DPO now and used a clear blue early detection test so I think that's me out now as I think at this point I'd at least be getting a squinter. Gutted really but it's our first cycle so it's to be expected. I hope your testing goes well, what tests do you use?

Plus side is my DP will be happy with all the extra DTD next month to try again 😅

IThinkImThirtySomething · 19/06/2026 09:02

@NibblesMaplestick even though I knew mine would be negative I was still a bit gutted to see the negative. It’s so hard waiting isn’t it! I bloody hate it.
Have you had anymore symptoms? I’m dog tired at the moment and keep getting a feeling like I have a bubble that needs to pop really low down where my uterus is but i don’t know if I’m just going crazy. I had that random vomiting incident the other night too which triggered me testing early “just in case”… I’m going to wait until Saturday now though… I think…! 😂

NibblesMaplestick · 19/06/2026 08:02

BFN for me this morning 🥲

OP posts:
IThinkImThirtySomething · 19/06/2026 07:10

@Matchalattecoco your post could be me lol. I’m around 9DPO (never caught my spike / peak) I think. I tested this morning on an old out of date test and got BFN. I tested positive on 9/10DPO with my son so just going to test again on Saturday as would like to know before Father’s Day so I can wrap the test up and a babygro lol.

BognorRegenia · 18/06/2026 17:37

@NibblesMaplestickI think 9dpo... I'm just not feeling it this cycle though.

It's really interesting about your RHR. I have the Oura ring and mine has been higher than normal all week (like a 65 instead of 55). No dips unfortunately!!

NibblesMaplestick · 18/06/2026 17:36

@purpleicedbun this is from my Garmin watch, it's attached to me permanently haha 😄

@DmcinT thank you! I might test in the morning 🤞🏻

@BognorRegenia that sucks I'm really sorry, how many DPO are you? Could you still be too early?

OP posts:
BognorRegenia · 18/06/2026 17:28

Flipping heck you guys. I have taken hundreds of tests in my life and never done this before.

I took a test just now and quickly to see a faint line forming. Weirdly, I just didn't really believe it though, as the test this morning was stark white and this was quite a pink line. I was like What the heck? Then I realised... LH strip! What a dope!

I use the easy@home tests for both and the packaging is quite similar.

I managed to pee a few drops more and actually use a pregnancy test... and a definite BFN :(

purpleicedbun · 18/06/2026 13:52

@NibblesMaplestick where do you track this? Fairly new at this so not sure what else I can be doing!

In that awkward phase of a bit of spotting and cramping which could be implantation but also very sure it's AF :(

DmcinT · 18/06/2026 10:46

Oh @NibblesMaplestick this is so so promising 🥰🎉 and would be right around 6/7 dpo so very likely implantation, keeping everything crossed for u x

Bumblebeemee · 18/06/2026 10:33

@wfcats sooo hard not to symptom spot! I go through phases of not being able to think about anything else and being convinced it’ll happen, then when I’m distracted I’m a bit more rational but it never lasts long.

All the talk of Father’s Day is making me think maybe I should test Sunday but I know it’ll be too early. My period isn’t even due until the 28th, it’s so far away!

Matchalattecoco · 18/06/2026 10:02

Hope you don’t mind me jumping on here too.
So nice to speak to others in the same TWW boat.
Would be lovely to have a positive to give for Father’s Day!! Fingers crossed for everyone.

It’s my first month TTC our 2nd child.
11DPO today and don’t want to test as I tested 9DPO and it was negative so think I’ll just wait for my period now as not feeling optimistic.

NibblesMaplestick · 18/06/2026 08:17

@DmcinT looks like I had a dip in RHR yesterday and spiked right up today 🤞🏻

@wfcats I tested this morning 😂 just from being sick last night and have a heavy feeling really low down. A bit like a bubble that needs to pop. It was negative which I expected,
but the feeling of wanting to test is out of my system now and I’ll test on Saturday - if I get a faint positive I’ll re-test on Sunday and it can be a Father’s Day gift lol!

@NibblesMaplestick I got some first response from Amazon on prime. I ordered in the evening and they turned up at 7am the next day (on a Saturday!) x

wfcats · 18/06/2026 06:08

@IThinkImThirtySomethinginteresting! How are you feeling today? Are you still planning on testing on Sunday?

@BumblebeemeeI think I will be about 7/8 dpo Saturday too but I'm definitely going to cave and test on Monday, I'm resisting the temptation to test today even though I know it will be negative. It's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it, I got pregnant with my daughter first try so this is my first time going through all of this and I am not prepared.

NibblesMaplestick · 17/06/2026 23:02

I went to the shop today to look for a First Repsonse test and couldn't find them anywhere. I think it's done me a favour though as I'll wait a bit longer now before testing.

Hope everyone is getting on okay! Only a few more days to wait 🤞🏻

OP posts:
Bumblebeemee · 17/06/2026 22:22

I’ve caved and ordered some tests from Amazon. I’ll be 7DPO Saturday, going to try and hold out until Tuesday… I’ve had some cramps today, felt a bit nauseous yesterday, think it’s just all in my head though. Even the dog isn’t being clingy anymore 😂

IThinkImThirtySomething · 17/06/2026 22:07

@wfcats mine are always a faint line that get progressively darker but they never go as dark as or darker than the control line, and then they fade again! So if I don’t get bfp this cycle I’m going to do digital tests around my predicted fertile window and see if that gets better…

although this evening, I’ve just coughed, gagged from coughing and been sick. Had to go to the toilet to finish off being sick. I don’t feel unwell at all and has been very random! Maybe just a coincidence… 👀

wfcats · 17/06/2026 11:18

@IThinkImThirtySomethingI also never get a peak on ovulation strips! It goes from no line to a faint line to a slightly less faint line maybe. It makes it so hard to know when to test. Do you drink a lot of water by any chance? I'm convinced that's why they don't work for me.

BognorRegenia · 17/06/2026 07:44

Oh my gosh @IThinkImThirtySomething I could also test on Father's day. Now that would be cute!

I do have a bad feeling about this cycle though as I've had no symptoms since the twinges at 6dpo.

IThinkImThirtySomething · 17/06/2026 07:16

@BognorRegenia I never got a peak when doing ovulation strips. The strips got darker to a certain point but never the same darkness as control line, so I did a digital toward the end of my window and got a negative so I don’t even know if I’ve ovulated this month so I don’t even really know what DPO I am… if I am going by my app (which is bang on with my period dates), I should be 7DPO today. If I can get a BFP on Saturday that will be 10DPO and good timing for Father’s Day lol.l but it feels torturous because I don’t have any evidence of ovulation and it’s all a bit pie in the sky this month.

@DmcinT I am sure you’ll be fine - plenty of suncream and plenty of cold refreshments! Is it a fly and flop holiday or an exploring / walking / out and about trip? What part of Italy are you going (I’ve never been but would love to so I am super jealous of you right now 🙊) x
