TTC on Clomid anyone?

BognorRegenia · 10/06/2026 12:22

We have started Clomid this month due to secondary infertility. I've had all the side effects (hot flushes, anxiety, cramps, bloating, fatigue) and am happy to finally be on 1dpo!

I'm putting a lot of hope into this cycle so I'm nervous I'm going to be very left down if/when AF arrives in a couple of weeks. :/

Anyone else in a similar boat?

Thanks @BognorRegenia- faintest line today, less than yesterday and some spotting with cramps so thinking it may be a chemical. Why is fertility so bloody hard.

Have you retest again @BognorRegenia?
So sorry to hear @MultilingualMummyfingers crossed for the next round

MultilingualMummy · 17/07/2026 14:49

Negative today at 12/13dpo :(. So onto the next cycle.

BognorRegenia · 17/07/2026 10:09

Woo hoo, amazing news @Roro27 !!!

ps I do see a shadow for sure!

Roro27 · 17/07/2026 09:55

A little update on my end - had a BFP today! I obviously tested too early. 12dpo today. Extremely faint so not getting my hopes up, but have everything crossed. @BognorRegeniaI was negative up until now so could be the start of something!

BognorRegenia · 17/07/2026 09:54

@JigglemonsterOh, I've definitely been scheming about how to get a FRER ! I'm on holiday though and it's quite rural. Luckily I brought a whole army of the cheapy tests so I'll be testing every wee Grin

Jigglemonster · 17/07/2026 09:52

@BognorRegenia I can see a shadow too! It's so hard when you have to wait to test again. Fingers crossed it will be clearer tomorrow.

Do you have a first response? Although maybe don't take my advice - I burn through tests every month!

BognorRegenia · 17/07/2026 09:17

I've not had many symptoms- a few period type cramps and that's it. I tested this morning and can almost convince myself there's a shadow. I don't want to get my hopes up though as it is so faint. I also did another straight after which was negative :/ 10dpo today... this is the 2nd clomid cycle

Sorry to hear that @Roro27 , it's really tough. Though if you're only 11/12 dpo it doesn't mean that you're necessarily out this month.

Hope you got a stronger line @MultilingualMummy!

I've just finished the first lot of clomid, not sure what I was expecting but didn't notice anything different. Almost thought they were placebos- they look like neurofen! Hopefully they're working their magic somewhere

Roro27 · 15/07/2026 11:19

BFN for me today, feeling very crap :(

MultilingualMummy · 14/07/2026 16:05

@Roro27 fingers crossed! I usually have sore boobs and cramping the week before my period and they've only just kicked in now at 10dpo so I am hoping that's a good sign! We shall see but if not there's always next cycle. Hoping you get some positive news soon :).

Roro27 · 14/07/2026 15:23

Ahhh fingers crossed for you it’s always so stressful when the test isn’t dark enough to be certain @MultilingualMummy I usually get PMS symptoms so hoping it’s a good sign that I don’t have any!

MultilingualMummy · 14/07/2026 15:20

@Roro27 I do have some symptoms but they are also pms symptoms so who knows. I am going to test again tomorrow - this happened with my son I swore I saw a vvfl and it turned into my now 2 year old. I actually don't have line eyes but I really want this so I'm probably just being delulu.

Roro27 · 14/07/2026 14:08

Best of luck for this cycle @JigglemonsterI am due to test tomorrow at 10dpo. I however have no symptoms and trying to stay hopeful. Any symptoms @MultilingualMummy? X

MultilingualMummy · 14/07/2026 10:04

Is anyone else going crazy thinking they see a faint line or is it just me? I promised myself I wouldn't test early but I couldn't help myself today (10dpo).

Jigglemonster · 14/07/2026 00:40

@Roro27 Slow going for me, on cd4, first round of clomid so another long month ahead.

How about you? You just be a good way through the tww now? Hope it's going well and you're suitably distracted. Such an annoying uncontrollable period of time!

Roro27 · 13/07/2026 20:43

How’s everyone getting on x

BognorRegenia · 10/07/2026 13:09

@Jigglemonster Funnily enough, I did not have these cramps on month 1! So hopefully you won't experience them. I am also trying to conceive baby 3, fingers crossed it works for us both :D

Is anyone doing letrozole and using progesterone pessaries in TWW? I am 5dpo today and having a fair bit of brown spotting…

Xanadu78 · 10/07/2026 08:49

I conceived my daughter on the second month of Clomid. I found out years later that I had really severe Endometriosis so I am so glad it worked.
My daughter is 15 now.
Hope it goes well for you x

Jigglemonster · 10/07/2026 08:46

@BognorRegenia oh doesn't sound fun, good to know about the post ovulation symptoms though. I'm starting clomid today. It's my second month ttc #3, also have a 6yo and almost 3yo. Hoping its the secret sauce!

BognorRegenia · 09/07/2026 23:24

Hey Ladies! I'm 2dpo and Oh My Lord the cramps and bloating I've had today. I had to lie down several times. I googled it and apparently it can be due to e.g. enlarged ovaries or excess fluid :/
Thankfully all back to normal now but that wasn't fun.

I'm not especially optimistic about this cycle. We shall see...

I’m only 1 day behind and also on my 2nd round of letrozole. What were your results from the letrozole this month and what dose did you take? I hate this stage as it’s too early for any symptoms or signs so you just have to keep yourself busy. Working from home which isn’t helping! How are you feeling? X

MultilingualMummy · 08/07/2026 11:03

I'm currently 4dpo from my second letrozole cycle! Anyone else in the early TWW with me? What are you doing to keep yourself sane?

Roro27 · 07/07/2026 22:58

Hi ladies, how’s everyone getting on? I am currently 2dpo after trigger shot on cd12. Still too early for any signs but trying to stay super positive! X
