TTC on Clomid anyone?

We have started Clomid this month due to secondary infertility. I've had all the side effects (hot flushes, anxiety, cramps, bloating, fatigue) and am happy to finally be on 1dpo!

I'm putting a lot of hope into this cycle so I'm nervous I'm going to be very left down if/when AF arrives in a couple of weeks. :/

Anyone else in a similar boat?

Round 4 no success for me
onto last 2 tries with Clomid.
my cycles are longer and ovulation is later on it, so I feel it’s doing something good. Just not catching 🙁

@BognorRegenia I'm sorry about your side effects and that it was all a bit stressful. A break is probably a good shout.

I'm also planning to join you in the zen-ness next month as I'm in the middle of my 2nd chemical in a row and am a bit emotionally maxed out by it all. I'm busy at work and going to try to focus my energy on being present when I'm home.

I left the thread for a little as it was all getting a bit much and I wanted to switch off from the TTC roller coaster.

My last month of Clomid wasn't successful and I had a lot of side effects (?) including head aches and nausea.

I'm actually glad I have no Clomid left as I want to give my body a bit of a break.

My plan now is to try naturally and to not get too obsessive. Easier said than done, of course! I'll still take pre natals and do my LH strips to make sure we DTD at the best times, but won't do much else.

If it's meant to be it will be.

I'm hoping to reach that state of zen whereby I miss my period and don't even realise, rather than having a countdown to the first day I can test (usually a ridiculously early 8dpo).

Hope you're all doing ok. I'm 10dpo today and a BFN this morning so going to book some scans for next month alongside the clomid cycle to see if they can tell me anything else

I'm 3dpo (ish - hard tonknow with just the strips), second round of clomid and haven't noticed it at all. My lh test was a bit darker than normal but that could have been lucky timing.

How are you getting on @Roro27 ?

@Roro27 I'm cd10 atm but usually ovulate on cd18-20 so a bit of a wait. Wondering if the clomid will change it this time, no change at all last month. Have you noticed any changes?

I'm hoping there's no delay, I've a 1-week business trip coming up and will be so disappointed if I ovulate late and so miss the window.

Each month I'm planning the March/Apr/May baby, don't know why I do it to myself. I know that there's the theory of positivity/manifesting but my God it's disappointing when it doesnt happen!

I tested positive this Sunday, I can't believe it! It's still so early but I am trying to lean into positivity. I'm 4+1 today.

9dpo today and I have consistently high temperatures since ovulation which is a positive for me as I usually get a dip day.
I’ve also started baby aspirin this cycle
I don’t have any tests in so I’m waiting it out till 16dpo as Clomid lengthened my luteal phase from 14 to 16 days

how’s everyone else?

@JigglemonsterYeah, that's also the impression I get. I figure I have one month left so I'll use it this cycle, when my eggs are the youngest they'll ever be :/

I know it's so hard to tell what it's actually doing, but according to most of the research there's no evidence that clomid has a negative effect. Sometimes it is just a case of continuity.

It's annoying because I also expected it to be a golden bullet of sorts. Hopefully we'll all get some positives soon.

My clinic told me months 4-6 are the most common to fall, but that’s on Letrozole. And I suppose we did have a chemical last month, so conceived. I am upping my dose to 7.5mg this month, god knows how I’ll react but hopefully multiple eggs! X

@BognorRegenia plenty stories online about success in round 4/5/6 of clomid
i plan to do 6 rounds
currently 5dpo and no thrush as of yet which is a bonus this month

More BFNs over here. I am gutted, but it also feels familiar...

My plan is to stop clomid and try naturally as it has now been 3 months with no success... perhaps cleaning up my diet could make a difference. I'm a "healthy" bmi but a total sugar addict so... we shall see :(

Negatives for me and 13dpo now so just waiting for AF now. From next month I'm going to ration the tests and stick to frer only I think.

Another 9dpo negative here 😒 And I woke up CERTAIN I'd see a line as I was sweating and nauseous. I've calculated that I've had more than 30 unsuccessful 2 week waits and they never get easier. Feeling deflated, hope you guys are keeping chins up. Hopefully the positves start rolling in soon x
