Hi all 👋🏻 14dpo. Strong LH positive on day 15. Now cycle day 29. I have very regular cycles, period is always 4-5 days, and I always start my cycle on the predicted day +/-1. I'm now 3 days late, which isn't much. Tested negative on expected date. Been very sleepy this week, had dull mild cramps, lower back ache, headache. Not quite my usual PMS symptoms of agonising cramping 1 day before and insatiably hungry. Trying to stay positive but not obsessive as it's been 4 years. Just wanted to air it out. Sending dust to all x

when are you planning on next testing?

Poppybloom55 · 29/04/2026 11:51

@AndyBerrick84 your cycle dates are exactly the same as mine. Have you tested yet?

@Poppybloom55

I haven’t tested yet. I don’t really see the point before a missed period. I actually find it more exciting not knowing and just wondering if this might be my month haha!

I did get caught out a few months ago though. I thought I might actually be pregnant because I had a random 28-day cycle and my app said I was 4 days late. I planned to test the next morning… and then started bleeding that night 🙄 Turned out I’d ovulated late, so I wasn’t technically late at all. So cruel 🤣

Now I’m holding off until at least 2 days past my longest possible cycle, which is 28 days even though I’m pretty sure I ovulated around day 13/14 this month. My luteal phase is usually bang on 10–11 days.
How long have you been trying for? What are your cycles like, and do you think you’ll test? ☺️

Hey ladies,
I’ve been a bit of a silent watcher but thought I’d finally join in this month 😊

My partner and I are trying for our first, this is cycle 7 for us. (I’m 38 he’s 41) My cycles can be a bit all over the place (usually 23–26 days, occasionally stretching to 27 or 28), so this month I started using ovulation tests to get a clearer idea of timing.

I’m currently 6 DPO. I try not to read too much into symptoms, as anything before around 10 DPO is usually just progesterone/PMS for me—I tend to get the full set every month anyway! So for now, it’s just the waiting game until a missed period 🤣

I got a strong positive OPK on cycle day 13, and we had sex on days 10, 12, and 13 so fingers crossed 🤞 Due on 3rd May!

@AndyBerrick84 your cycle dates are exactly the same as mine. Have you tested yet?

I’ve got 3 children and I’ve only ever noticed viens being pregnant so hoping that a sign I’m going to test Friday morning so would be betwen 9-10dpo then me and my partner have agreed we will test again Monday together as I know it sounds daft but honestly really thinking this month is it x but same time I haven’t ovulated in nearly 4 months so just not sure if my body is doing what it’s meant to x good luck keep me posted sending you all
the baby dust!!x

It really does sound like that could be positive then if that’s only a symptom you’ve had when pregnant ☺️ it doesn’t sound silly at all, sometimes you just get a feeling. I have a feeling this month is not it because of my lack of symptoms, as had quite a few symptoms before my previous positive with first baby! I don’t feel any different to usual at the moment. I’ll keep posted, and you too! Good luck x

I also had very veiny boobs when I tested pregnant with my first child! However they now seem to have stayed like that since breastfeeding for 2 years so every TWW I wonder do they normally look this veiny? 😂 I am also in my TWW - going by my ovulation sticks I am 14dpo today but haven’t tested yet as I am honestly just too scared to at this point (6 months TTC our second now) x

Eek really hope AF stays away 🤞!

This sounds really positive - exciting! Good plan on testing. Unlike myself who wasted another test this morning at 9dpo (negative obviously). I used to test very early with my previous 2 and we were so lucky we caught first time each. Definitely not the same experience this time! Sending all the baby dust your way for Monday!

Hey I’m jumping on the band wagon! 👋🏻 6-8dpo my LH chart was off this month so just going off possible late ovulated as my tests show when I peaked I don’t think it was successful as my tests stayed dark from cd23 when I had a peak to cd28 when I had another peak then it dropped so I’m taking that as my body finally doing it I have pcos x I’m completely and utterly down the rabbit hole at this point now as I originally fort today would be 11dpo so I’ve been testing the last 3 days 🤦🏻‍♀️ but the last 24 hours I’ve been through the ringer 🤣 my boobs are killing me but have been for days now but last night noticed viens all over my boobs are really prominent and sticking out my back is starting to ache and I had like electrical spasms in my cervix only very light x anyone else still in there TWW? Xx

Fingers crossed for you. Are you holding out on testing? Totally know what you mean re rabbit hole. I was in one last night. I had some intermittent left sided groin pain most of yesterday and a bit today and it got me feeling foolishly optimistic. Even though I always get lots of pelvic pains as pms. I did test at today day 8dpo and negative, obviously very early. I caved as I got an 8 or 9 dpo positive with my other pregnancy. How lucky I was back then! X

I find it so hard not to over-analyse every little thing that could be a symptom too. I also experience a whole range of ‘pregnancy symptoms’ right before my period each month normally, which really doesn’t help! I also had a 9DPO positive last time too so I know I’ll find it really hard not to test then again when I get there.

I am so sorry to hear about your third trimester loss. I can't imagine how unbelievably traumatising that would have been. I'm so happy for you that your second baby came home. That's tough re perimenopause and added stress re tracking ovulation. The uncertainty is difficult to manage also. We can but try and hope for the best ❤️. Wishing you luck x

Thank you for your kind words ❤️ you are absolutely right, we can only hope for the best as we navigate the rollercoaster of TTC. Wishing you lots of luck also x

I’ve made it until 10DPO without system spotting. I have really sore nipples tonight so of course I’m down a rabbit hole. Our chances are incredibly low this month so I’m waiting for AF to arrive

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage last year 😔 TTC is stressful enough on its own, but it’s amplified when you’ve had losses I feel. I had a third trimester loss with my first baby and it’s made me so anxious about everything. Thankfully I was lucky enough to be able to bring my second baby home with me, but I still worry about rolling the dice again as I know it could happen again. I’m also certain I’m in perimenopause now as my cycles are all over the place (I used to be very regular) and I’m experiencing a variety of other symptoms that come along with it, so that’s adding to my stress and making me wonder how TTC will go this time.

Sadly it was an evap ladies, never had one before. There’s nothing on my test this morning attached. Just waiting on AF now, I’m beginning letrozole for the first time this month so 🤞

Sorry that the shadow didn’t develop into something more today for you. Good luck for your next cycle with the Letrozole 🙏🏻

Hi all, fellow silent watcher here too - hope you dont mind if I join. Im day 7 dpo. We're trying for baby no 3. Started in August last year, got pregnant in October and then miscarried at 9 weeks. My cycles have only just normalised. Feeling so many twinges but I know from experience this is what I always get. Mad headaches and thirst at day 5 and day 6dpo but nothing since. Im 40 later this year and got so lucky in my previous pregnancies. Im finding even this wait tricky even though Ive had a relatively easy journey (bar miscarriage) so I cant complain. I must think 'oooh was that implantation' about 100 times a day. It's hard not to obsess.
Will try and hold out on testing until as late as possible. Though the tests are calling my name. Wishing you all luck! X

FYI - I think it matters more for the man as it boosts his little swimmers I believe. Ginger&lemin in water drink loads of it throughout the day! No eating just drinking all of this have one meal in the evening!

sodoffbeforemycupofcoff · 28/04/2026 05:39

Can I just drop you guys a line and say to try a fasting diet with ginger and lemon (google it) it’s a body detox and it seemed to do the job for me (that, or it was just time!) but when I did recommend this to someone else they also had success I am not saying it’ll absolutely work for you, but worth a shot and it’s natural and healthy! Good luck!

ShivWesker · 28/04/2026 05:35

Aaaaaand bang, AF at 12dpo. 🤦‍♀️

Not necessarily if you implanted yesterday you wouldn’t have a lot of hcg yet. But I would say be wary of evaps. Did you do more than 1 test?

Thank you I’m going to try and test in 48 hrs (if I don’t cave before) I’m pretty sure it’ll be an evap tho xx

I can see the shadow, but couldn’t be certain that it isn’t an indent/evap. I’d test again tomorrow and see if it’s got any darker 🤞🏼

Thank you I think it may be an evap. I’m going to take another in a few days but not getting my hopes up x
