@Foreverhopeful92what is pco? I’ve also never heard of it either?

About 35 days whereas previously I was 28 days consistently on the dot every single month pre TTC. I assumed it was vitamins and also just the stress/anxiety with TTC.
I now go between 27/28 and 30 since baby #1.
so my understanding is pco it’s polycystic ovaries but I don’t have the syndrome part based on blood tests 🤷‍♀️
they also saw a cyst which was small at the time but will probably get that checked soon to check it isn’t any bigger.
let us know how you get on with the Gp. When are you expecting to be due your period?

Can I join too please? We have a nearly 5 year old and we’ve just started trying. It took me 18 months to conceive our first but I believe that was due to my body not regulating well after being on the pill for so long. This time around I haven’t been on any contraception since my first pregnancy, we just tried to avoid when we thought I was ovulating. I also lost my mum last year after a two year battle with cancer so if I’m being honest dtd wasn’t top of my priority and I think stress might of effected my cycles anyway. But yes, feeling like now is good timing, just hoping it doesn’t take too long as I’m conscious the age gap is increasing from our son and I’m not getting any younger (I’m 37 this year) fingers crossed for everyone and our 2nd babies 😊

To reassure you my periods also went weird when I first started TTC - I didn’t miss one but I had longer cycles and put it down to the fact we were TTC (plus I was taking vitamins which I have heard can sometimes affect your cycle) they did go back to normal. Obviously I would still say to reach out to the GP if you are concerned but hopefully your cycle will go back to normal.
When we struggled with TTC #1 I had some scans and tests and they said i have PCO but not PCOS (never even knew there was a difference).

Ooooh okay, what were the lengths of your cycles if you don’t mind asking? I am not taking an vitamins so I can’t even put it down to that:: it’s just really confusing on why my cycles have been like this since trying x

AF arrived for me today, never been so glad for a new cycle, hopefully this one is more successful 🤞 how are you doing?

Glad you finally started a new cycle. A fresh new start again, no period still but tried getting in contact with doctors today just to see what’s going on.
i was on a thread on her about TTC and someone said I could potentially have pcos which don’t understand why I would as my periods have been pretty regular only been like this since TTC so I am not worrying xx

still no period :( think I am 13 dpo now but a bit anxious to test cos I know I’ll see a negative test:( I’ve never skipped periods like this before so worrying a lot about it! Xx

Don't worry 😊 I have used them from time to time, I can see myself obsessing over them so try not to tbh lol although I did use them during this long cycle to see what was going on, I got a few high readings, but the strongest by far was around 31st March, so im guessing going by them my body tried to ovulate a few times and eventually managed it then lol my BBT has dropped this morning and I woke up with cramps so im waiting on a new cycle starting, how are u getting on?

Yea thats it! I have oily skin and some hair loss. I picked my high testosterone up by chance, ive got bloods done since having my baby and my levels appear to be normal now, this cycle could maybe be my hormones having a wobble PP. If its something on your mind id defo ask to get them checked, its better to know and hopefully put your mind at rest 😊 if my period or BFP doesn't appear in next few days im going to ask to get bloods done to see what's going on. as far as I know 32-35 is perfectly normal! Very few people actually have a perfect 28 day cycle I think

High testosterone isn’t that facial hair, loss of hair ect? Do you have that? Maybe I should go to the doctors for blood tests! Just to check.

I fell pregnant within six weeks with my daughter I thought 32-35 is still in the normal range right? My periods have only been like this since TTC!

Yea my cycles have always been kinda round 35 days, never below 30! I took Inofolic alpha TTC last time as its meant to help with PCOS, not sure if its the reason but few months after starting it i got my BFP. There are a few different boxes you have to tick to be diagnosed with pcos, irregular cycles is one, high androgens (testosterone) and something else, sorry can't remember last one lol done one today and it was BFN, what about you?

Oh gosh that is a long cycle! I’m at the beginning of my next one so CD4.
Interestingly the cycle I got pregnant last time I ovulated later than I ever have. Admittedly it was only a week later than usual. But you never know - Fingers crossed for you!

I agree though that as soon as you start TTC your cycles seem to go AWOL! I had the same when TTC #1

I've never had a cycle this long, as you say you aren't out until your period arrives 🤞 fingers crossed this cycle is the one for you!

Funny I had the same with #TTC 1 as well, its so annoying 🤣

Hi @foreverhopeful92 sorry im only replying now, my cycle has been a bit of a disaster, my last period started 12th Feb and nothing since, currently day 61 😳🥴 per ovulation tests I believe i FINALLY ovulated around 31st March, so hoping im in the last few days of the TWW! Part of me kinda hopes my period will come with how bad this cycle has been, my head is just fried and looking a fresh start. Where are u in the TWW now?🤞

Do you just have irregular periods?
before we started trying my periods were every month& always 32-35 days and I’ve always been like that ever since a teen! Would that point to having pcos?

oh I hope you are not out this month and you get that positive test!! Have you done a test?

Not diagnosed as such but i do believe I have it, with TTC #1 I had high testosterone, confirmed by bloods, along with longer cycles, although I've never had one this long! Its so typical though isnt it once u make the decision to TTC your cycles decide to keep you guessing 🙈 we are very near eachother time wise then!! Me and my partner did DTD round the time but I think im out this month!
