Checking in! Cycle 3 of trying for no. 2 - we have an almost 2 yr old who was conceived on cycle 3. Pretty chilled out about the TWW this month, trying to avoid symptom spotting, currently 8dpo.

Congrats @chelseaaaaaxxxx!

Maybe this month is your month 🫶🏻 got everything crossed for you, keep us updated xx

My period arrived 🥳 so all systems go with TTC no.2 after this. I’m so happy as I really don’t want to stop breastfeeding so hopefully I can do both

Yayyyy!!! Fabulous news! No more worrying 😅 got everything crossed for you, sending you lots of baby dust xxx

@user5699
also haven’t done anymore tests since last week, still waiting on my cycle to appear:( but I think I am like 15/16 dpo who actual knows at this point. Surely I would have started to feel some cramps if I was pregnant. Just don’t want the negativity of a negative test!

I’m doing ok. Cd 11. Have started ovulation tests this cycle. Mainly want to check I am ovulating. I have regular cycles so I’m sure I am. But for peace of mind maybe. How are you? Have you done anymore tests?

Hoping this is your month , sending loads of baby dust your way❤️

I tried the Wondfo strips and got a proper positive this month. I was struggling to find my peak via the easy@home ones. Maybe I was mis-timing it or had an anovulatory cycle when I was ill, but I'll be sticking with Wondfo

Aww okayyyy I might give that brand a go, do you test literally everyday after your period just in case you miss time it? Good luck with the moving!

Can I join too please? We have a nearly 5 year old and we’ve just started trying. It took me 18 months to conceive our first but I believe that was due to my body not regulating well after being on the pill for so long. This time around I haven’t been on any contraception since my first pregnancy, we just tried to avoid when we thought I was ovulating. I also lost my mum last year after a two year battle with cancer so if I’m being honest dtd wasn’t top of my priority and I think stress might of effected my cycles anyway. But yes, feeling like now is good timing, just hoping it doesn’t take too long as I’m conscious the age gap is increasing from our son and I’m not getting any younger (I’m 37 this year) fingers crossed for everyone and our 2nd babies 😊

hey 👋🏻 welcome 🤗

so sorry to hear that you have lost your mum couldn’t imagine what you was& are going through after loosing your mum 😣 I’ve got everything 🤞🏻 for you that it also doesn’t take as long as last time for you, sending you loads of baby dust ❤️

Oh it's still stressful but it means I have such low expectations TTC while in the house selling/buying process 😄 No point stopping TTC but I'm less worried if it doesn't happen in the first half of this year. I'll know why!

Worst bits like the survey are out of they way now so fingers crossed. And I definitely ovulated this month and we timed things well - so you never know!

Trying to move/ buy I swear is more stressful than moving into your first home!! We are trying to sort out house out too so kinda know how you feel but I leave that for my partner to deal with 😂😂

did you say you use ovulation tests before& you struggle to get them to go positive may I ask? I struggle to get mine to go positive 😣 and it’s so hard when you don’t have a period

Have you been ill, even just cold symptoms @chelseaaaaaxxxx?

I had a longer cycle with delayed ovulation in Feb and I think it was related to COVID. I had severe cold symptoms and couldn't taste my Indian takeaway, then I remembered that only happened when I had COVID. Bought one of the tests from the pharmacy to confirm.

I wasn't really ill but it messed up my cycle. Then house buying stress after that but I won't even go there haha

Hopefully you can rule out something medical and things go back to normal for you soon.

Hey
@RoomToDream

i do have a cold now but that’s only the last few days so can’t really put it down to that, I reckon it’s stress related i can’t think of anything else it could be😣 but me not having a period is stressing me out🫠

oh no house moving is so stressful let alone TTC too, hope it’s going all smoothly now 🫣

About 35 days whereas previously I was 28 days consistently on the dot every single month pre TTC. I assumed it was vitamins and also just the stress/anxiety with TTC.
I now go between 27/28 and 30 since baby #1.
so my understanding is pco it’s polycystic ovaries but I don’t have the syndrome part based on blood tests 🤷‍♀️
they also saw a cyst which was small at the time but will probably get that checked soon to check it isn’t any bigger.
let us know how you get on with the Gp. When are you expecting to be due your period?

I didnt realise vitamins could make cycles go all weird as well, also heard so many people say about that their cycle went back to normal after having babies and helped with pcos symptoms as well. Did you have any symptoms with pco then? Or was it cause it took a while to fall pregnant with your first?

I think I could possibly be stressed which is making my cycles go everywhere, I need some ideas, I need to find a way of dealing with my anxiety better. I am such a over-thinker and worrier 😣 doesn’t help that my friend is pregnant with her 2nd and all she keeps going on about is that ( I get she’s happy & I am happy for her ) but then saying ‘ you need to have sex more’ ughhhh 🫠

I need to stop thinking I have pcos that’s not helping me at all. This is all happened since TTC so surely pcos can’t creep in all of a sudden.

I requested an appointment to see a doctor yesterday but they’ve not got back to me yet:/ hoping they will soon!

my last period was March 5th but I think could have possibly ovulated later on 31st/2nd April but not sure as ovulation tests don’t work well with me, I had like egg white discharge and pretty sure felt my temp go up for a few days but can’t be certain sorry for the TMI and the long message 🙈
