@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy thank you! And for you! I am looking forward to taking a break from the old jam jar. Although forgot how painfully long the two week wait is!

Squibblypanda90 · 13/04/2026 08:43

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy yeah im definatley going to talk to the gp about my concerns, aswell as telling them about my pains during ovulation as there becoming unbearable now.

Yeah i wish i could get a scan to check my c section scar too. I havent i may ask the gp about this aswell.

I have read about cesarean scar defect (isthmocele or niche), which is linked to secondary infertility and impaired embryo implantation i was following a lady on instagram who had this and struggled with infertility and recurrant mc and she had surgery and is now 23 weeks pregnant.

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 12/04/2026 22:14

Sorry to hear your C-section didn't heal well @Squibblypanda90 The opening up again sounds painful! Definitely talk to the GP, there are so many different bits that have to work perfectly for conception to happen and the baby to stick that getting a handle on which bit isn't working so well is a good start. Good that the elavated alt levels doesn’t seem to be affecting things though.

I wish I could get a scan to check all my scar tissue. Have you heard of the NHS ever offering this? I felt i healed really well after the first one but the second one was much more of an “emergency” and I think it’s healed a bit wrong inside. Kicking myself for trying the VCAB and not just having an ELCS!

Squibblypanda90 · 12/04/2026 21:08

Thank you @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy ❤️

Thank you, ill definatley speak to my gp about my fertility.

I dont think my section healed well as it opened up and i had alot of scar tissue behind it, so im thinking it may be the reason why. I have also been suffering with high alt levels for 6 years but consultants advised they dont think this was the reason i had my mmc.

I have been noticing alot more pains during ovulation which really made me think this month i was pregnant but unfortunatley not.

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 12/04/2026 20:01

So sorry to hear about the negative test @Squibblypanda90 . Especially after trying for so long that must be really tough. And sorry about your MMC ❤️

Your supplements all sound good. Have you been to see the GP? As you are over 35 you only need to be trying for 6 months before asking for tests I think?

How do you feel your C-section has healed? I’ve had two EMCS and I’m worried that I have adhesions or something- I’m getting pain during my ovulation/ TWW time that I don’t remember having before. Hopefully I’m just being paranoid though!

Squibblypanda90 · 12/04/2026 13:50

Hi all, am i ok to jump on this post. Im on 12dpo tested negative and really thought this month was going to be my rainbow baby month, af is due to rear her ugly head on tuesday😓. Feeling deflated and at a loss again.
Long backstory but found out in feb 2025 at 11dpo i was pregnant which unfortunatley ended in a mmc 28/03. My body didnt go back to normal till june and ive been ovulating normal since then. My periods are normal and last 3-5 days. Im really struggling to get pregnant and no understanding why. Ive been taking supplements since april 2025 Im taking myo-inositol, coq10, nac, l-arginine, selenium, proceive conception and proceive conception omega 3. I eat healthly, walk and go to the gym 3-5 days a week, im 36 dont drink or smoke. I dont know if it matters but had sucessful pregnancy 8 years ago but was an emergency c- section. Ive read load of things about progesterone and taking this from 3dpo. Anyone have any advice?

MumOf3amazingkids · 12/04/2026 12:59

No it was after almost 24 hours. I just went back to check again for whatever reason

I can see a line too! But after 24 hours the test is definitely invalid so evap is likely too. Did you test this morning? How many dpo are you?

MumOf3amazingkids · 12/04/2026 13:04

TTCFTM2026 · 12/04/2026 09:31

Unfortunately, I think it may have been a chemical pregnancy. Line is barely visible today. No period yet but 99.99% sure I'm out for this cycle.

I'm so sorry to hear this. 🥺🥺 I hope the next cycle gives you your heart desire. Is AF here?

MumOf3amazingkids · 12/04/2026 12:59

DmcinT · 12/04/2026 12:54

@MumOf3amazingkids I see a line, it looks completely dried out though, was it within 5 mins or so?

Can anyone see a line on this?

@TTCFTM2026 sorry to hear this! I had one 2 cycles ago and it’s really hard ❤️ give yourself a bit of time too, this helped me!

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 12/04/2026 10:29

@TTCFTM2026 Sorry to hear the lines are fading! Sending hugs ❤️

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 12/04/2026 10:27

Glad you found your peak @Pollyanna123456 ! And good that the CB tests have worked better! Fingers crossed for you in 2 weeks time 🤞

@LucyCL Oooh, I’ve never heard of that before! I see what you mean about expensive! Think I’ll give it a few more cycles but if we get to 6 months and nothing then I might invest 👀 especially as they say it works with PCOS too! Which the Lh tests can be a bit hit or miss with apparently

TTCFTM2026 · 12/04/2026 09:31

MumOf3amazingkids · 10/04/2026 21:59

Fingers crossed that it becomes definitive. Do keep us posted🤗

My app thinks I’m around 7dpo today. I am getting more hopeful that I did ovulate last week. My Lh tests have stayed low, no EWCM and I’m craving sugar! (a classic luteal phase symptom for me.) But maybe just deluding myself and I’ll get another Lh rise next week! Think I’ll try to hold out HCG testing until 12 dpo and not waste too many tests 🤞

I am using OvuSense to determine the O day. I used it for my first successful pregnancy and it helped me to catch the egg in the third cycle. I have been using it since I started trying again. It is really expensive however it is worth the money in my opinion. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Pollyanna123456 · 11/04/2026 20:49

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy - yes I got my static smiley this morning! Definitely recommend. I just remember getting so disheartened with the other ones.

Haha I'm glad you have a bone maman one too - we have to make the wee in the jar era at least slightly better!!!! X

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 11/04/2026 19:13

Pressed post too early- was meant to say, not waste too many tests as not even sure ovulation occurred!

Ah that would have been month 10 of trying. Im honestly sitting here so deflated. Im 40 so very aware of time ticking and if im being honest guilt is eating me alive. I lost my son last year to tfmr, the decision was absolutely the right thing to do for him, and the pain/suffering he would have had if hed even survived to term, but a dark part of me is thinking this is some fucked up sort of karma and he was my last chance. I have photos of him when he was born that I haven't even been able to bring myself to look at, but I feel like maybe doing it today. I don't know, I'm all over the place today.
Im so sorry for the spiral but my god this is so hard. Im very blessed that I have my 2 year old running around here but its so hard to put on a smile for him when he sees "mama sad".

Wow, I am so sorry for what you went through. It must have been so hard for you! Please take good care of yourself!

Has anyone had a hen do they’ve gone on whilst ttc? I don’t drink much anyway but I’ll probably be in the middle of TWW and I don’t want to ruin anything as I’ll likely be around 9dpo but not sure how to go about it as I don’t want any of my friends to think I am pregnant as that’s what they will think if I don’t drink!

If you don't mind lying- dental infection. Just finishing a course of Metronizadole, can't drink for 48 hours after taking the last dose.

Sunglade · 10/04/2026 21:07

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 10/04/2026 19:38

Ah no, @Sunglade that sounds really tough. 8 cycles is a long time to be trying for, even if it is still considered a “normal” amount of time. And the burning pain doesn’t sound nice at all. Have you been to see the GP yet?

Yeah, I know a lot of people do try for this long and longer but often they don't have weird and extra painful symptoms alongside it. I feel like for years I convinced myself it was normal because I was never taken seriously, but now with tracking and waiting I'm starting to realise that actually no it's not normal at all. I have been to the GP who has referred me to a gynae to look into the pain symptoms but I'm not sure how long it might take, I know it can often be ages.

Glittertint · 10/04/2026 20:30

@LizzyRL @Dbd310 thanks both! I know it’s not harmful for the baby, and it made me remember that I was on a hen do the weekend before i found out I was pregnant with my DD. I think I just worry the stress it puts on your body!
