How soon can the sickness start?

Just wondering how quickly people felt nauseous after ov? Pg sites say it's usually 3-4 weeks but I am 8 dpo and have felt so queasy since yesterday, particularly halfway through eating and then for a couple of hours afterwards.

Not that I am manically symptom spotting during my 2ww (honest) but I didn't have any sickness with my 1st so wouldn't know if this is possible/to be expected?

pmsl, when is the scan LG&T?

I feel very light headed today and I have a feeling the sickness is around the corner this week.

If it's a boy I expect to be queasy but not vomit so much, if it's a girl I fully expect to have no stomach lining and be attached to a drip.

It is NOT twins you feckers...

It is 1 tiny baby, angelic and with a small head. I will breathe it out at home surrounded by candles.

Ooh Sorky so no sickness yet for you?? Did you have sickness by now with your other boy(s)?? Would be very (but pleased) to have a boy as just assumed another girl, but all of my symptoms are just so different!!! LOL, bet we both wake up tomorrow with heads down toilets .
Looking forward to finding where you're up to LG&T

I normally get very sick around 6 weeks, has been the same with them all (6 of them) but this one i am not so sure.

I took a test because i felt sick, no other symptoms. I came up positive straight away and was possibly only 13 days post conception. Of course i may have been 6 weeks and had an odd period so my date are wrong. Scan soon will let you know!

Ahh so it is possible then tapster!

Yes I'm ttc, had a m/c in April so have my fingers very tightly crossed. I have just found a similar thread and someone on it said it could be a sign on twins!!! Yikes!
But I guess i'm getting a bit carried away.....will settle for a bfp in a few days first

Thanks for your replies

I'm waiting for next week, when like Diege, I'll be 6 weeks.

Diege I think you're having a boy btw, same as me.

Tapster · 15/06/2008 18:10

A few days after conception for me, however eating always made me feel better, and I tend to get it when I hadn't eaten for a while.

Diege · 15/06/2008 17:44

I'm also wondering about this myself, just waiting for the sickness to hit. With all 3 dds sickness hit (Hyperemesis/drip/drugs with 2 out of 3) at 4.5 weeks. I'm 5 weeks with no.4 and just just waiting for it to hit. Wondering if it's possible to avoid sickness after having it so badly last time(s), or just wishful thinking!
From reading others' accounts on here, I think some get nausea a few days after conception, but that 6 weeks is about average?

monkeybumsmum · 15/06/2008 17:30

First pregnancy at about 5 weeks, but 2nd time I had v bad indigestion and was wanting to retch at things from about 11/12 dpo.

Presume you are ttc? If so then good luck, I have my fingers crossed! Will you let us know if you are or not?

forevercleaning · 15/06/2008 15:27

just after 6 weeks preg all 3 times
