My periods were all over the place before I had coil removed so I can't estimate my cycle. I am just crossing everything I can that I have not conceived. Thats everything except my legs!!!!!

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 16/06/2008 12:57

where were you in cycle?

when is the time you can conceive anyway, if you have a reg 28-day cycle?

argh, we can bite our nails together, Monkey!

Hi I come off the Coil on friday, started to take pill again straight away but I also had unprotected sex last night whats my chances of being caught out? My GP said it takes around 7 days for pill to kick in and assume I wasn't covered from Friday.

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 16/06/2008 12:15

yes, mustn;t panic yet

lol.... dp would probably have liked that. we don't really do pressies for mothers and fathers day though.... or rather he has never for mothers so i refuse to for fathers!

he was happy enough with his homemade cards, one each from ds, ds, bump and the cat (had to even it out so they got to paint 2 each )

how are you feeling today about the thought of another?

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 15/06/2008 10:19

hope your card-making went well

sh was delighted with his present - a Top Gear T shirt saying "I am The Stig"

i hope it all turns out ok..... i have a sneaking suspician you'll be ttc if you aren't preg though

now this tired preg lady has to go to bed so i'll be able to get up and do cards with hyper kids in the morning for father's day..... not that i've left it late or anything

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 14/06/2008 23:57

yes, I mean, it didn't stop me for the others

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 14/06/2008 23:55

that was dp's main objection.

my view on that is my kids could be hit by a bus tomorrow and left handicapped for life... god forbid that should happen but my point is being born healthy isn't a garuantee that they'll be healthy all their lives, and the chances of them being born with a problem are slim, and certainly not good enough reason to say no more kids if you want them and can afford them

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 14/06/2008 23:51

I mean, if something goes wrong, you'd be - why was I so greedy? why wasn't I content with my lovely lot in life?

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 14/06/2008 23:49

as long as they're loved and happy then all will be good.

4 isn't a huge number of kids and if you really feel it's the amount of kids you want you'll always regret it if you don't go for it

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 14/06/2008 23:46

Purple - argh, congrats, scary!

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 14/06/2008 23:46

so this is your third, PT?

God, it's the fear of looking back and thinking "why did I rock the boat?"

I really feel I'd have to have a section I'd be so scared

My night of getting carried away mid cycle is a 25week bump It took 6 months to conceive DS.

PinkTulips · 14/06/2008 23:40

god no!

i was in floods of tears just days before ds was born as we had such a horrible time with dd i was terrified..... plus i felt evil for inflicting a baby on her stealing all her attention!

and dp went out for a smoke a few hours after we brought him home and apparently prayed 'please god just let this year go quickly'! as it was the first year with dd that almost killed us

ooopsyoopsydaisy · 14/06/2008 23:36

WS, really? it is just terrifying!

PT, congrats! hasn't the fear worn off yet?

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 14/06/2008 23:34

i definietely do anyway and i know it terrifies dp.

there's all the fears about the baby being ok, the money it'll take, the changed family dynamic, will you cope.

good god i'm hyperventilating even writing that (6 weeks preg and definitely panicing!)

wonderstuff · 14/06/2008 23:34

too terrifying to think about [shudders] i had such a miserable pg..
