Yes, it returned after 9 months. I have been reducing the frequency of breastfeeding slowly so my body can slowly adjust to its pre pregnancy state. I decided to have a break from breastfeeding soon after I got my first period because I wanted to see how long the first cycle lasted. I just got AF this morning and it is clear that I had no idea what my body was doing. Breastfeeding does interfere with your cycle.

My DD still breastfeeds for her nap and to go to sleep at night so only twice a day… but she is a bad sleeper and so some nights it feels like she never stops! Probably has 3 feeds on average at night? Worried that might be too much - 5 feeds in total?

OMG! We got home last night and I thought I'd do a test this morning - BFP (2-3 weeks)! ✨

How much does your DC still breastfeed @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy ?? I'm now CD34 with no sign of AF and worried breastfeeding is suppressing ovulation (never done OPKs and bbt not really feasible with little one).

@LucyCL have your periods only just returned? It's so interesting how different it is for everyone as I had one quite quickly after we had our DCs. I went back onto the implant (though in hindsight wish I'd left my body to self regulate)

I’m still at 0.1 LH! Don’t know what to do. So weird that I still have EWCM. Think my body must be trying to ovulate and failing miserably. Maybe I need to cut down a bit on the breastfeeding?

Hope it’s going better for you @Glittertint ? Any EWCM arrived yet? Think I’ll have to follow your plan of dtd every other day and 🤞 it will happen at some point. It’s just not easy to get the energy up for it with a toddler who doesn’t sleep 😩

@Flataf I don’t see a second line, sorry. At 14 days post ovulation the line should be really clear for a viable pregnancy. Unless you think there is a chance you ovulated much later than cycle day 14?

Today is 6dpo. This is the first cycle after giving birth so I have no idea how long this one is going to be. I didn’t test LH every day. I have no expectations which makes this 2WW very easy. I will test next Thursday which will be 11 dpo.

Morning all. Sorry been a bit absent this last week as was on holiday with my partners family.

I'm 8dpo today. And I've got this weird feeling that we've gotten pregnant this cycle. DH and I are very good at getting pregnant (3 pregnancies in 7 cycles of trying last year), we're just not very good at staying pregnant.

I've had implantation spotting each time, and had a bit of spotting yesterday at 7dpo. I don't think it's early AF spotting or bleeding as my boobs are quite sore so progesterone surely hasn't dropped enough for my period to come yet.

I do want to find out ASAP as I've been offered progesterone because of the previous losses and I feel the earlier I can start that, the better. But also don't want to be squinting at tests for the next few days. Will probably try and hold off testing until Monday.

So it wasn’t my month, AF arrived today cycle day 37. So like my last cycle before where it began the same time, maybe it’s my new cycle length I don’t know, be ok if it was just wanna know 100% tbh cos irregular isn't fun.
I think maybe this cycle every 2nd or 3rd day having sex just to be on the safe side 😀

Still nothing for me yet! Not really even got EWCM but I’m like CD13/14 as I’m not sure if I should’ve counted day 1 as day 1! I got to like 0.5 on my LH but I had this last month, so just not really testing yet until I get my EWCM! My bbt is still low temps and we’ve been dtd CD7,10,12 so far, trying to do every other night so that we are prepared for when ovulation decides to happen! Same as what we did last month so 🤞🏼 O day was CD18/19 so hoping for some kind of sign tomorrow!!

@Flataf you could have had a negative test 2 days ago and then a positive today! HCG has to be at a certain level to be detected by the pregnancy test and it doubled every two days.

Your chart does think AF is tomorrow, so I’d trust that over the Fitbit. I’d test tomorrow morning as that will give you a definite answer one way or another even with cheapie test.

It’s what I thought but day or so ago on one cheapie stix it’s was like faint if that so it’s y I’m so confused. My Fitbit thought 18th should have been af lol so I’m glad I’m not only t hi ng feeling confused

@Flataf If I’m reading the chart right you are expecting your period tomorrow? That would be 14 days post ovulation? So if you test you will get a clear result one way or the other. You should get an obvious line at this point if you are pregnant, not a squinter!

Roughly 18th to the next 18th so I’m tad miffed

So I'm not testing for ovulation yet, as I feel I could end up totally obsessed, but according to my app (Clue) my fertile window starts tomorrow til the 26th. Told my partner we have to DTD as much as possible in that time and he was agreeable 😂

Clue was bang on for me last time, if nothing happens in a few months then I'll look into OPKs etc.

Hi everyone

Has anyone else tested positive on 8dpo??

I tested 3 times this morning as been having strange symptoms (boobs felt swollen, very emotional) like my first pregnancy and got 3 positive tests.

It feels very early for the lines to be so strong?

I cant quite believe it, Dd took over a year to conceive, this was our first time dtd in months.

It seems like LH test strips don't work for me. Either that or I'm missing the peak or I need to try a different type? I don't know, but I once got a very dark near positive, but it wasn't a true positive from what I've looked into. I also haven't seen a clear positive this cycle, but my BBT and body signs are saying I've ovulated.

Anyway, so happy to see that crosshair on my BBT chart. I started charting BBT last cycle and it was all over the place. So I haven't seen one of those before, so pretty much the first time ovulation has been seen apart from a doctor telling me "it looks like you do ovulate" a few months ago after I had a scan...not sure how they knew really as it was a brief discussion, but I'd hope they know what they're talking about.

So looks like this is 3DP0. I feel more hopeful than before and trying not to let the doubts seep in. I have been spotting a lot this cycle though, so will talk to a doctor either way. Sorry for the yapping!

It is! But given my chemical last month I’m also like happy if it’s the same as it gives me some hope we might be more successful this time!!
