@DorsetGirl89 ive never had progesterone checked but it’s standard to give it in early pregnancy for people who have had previous losses. I think you should ask for it as it’s normal protocol and can’t hurt.

Sa11yCinnamon · 06/03/2026 09:43

@DorsetGirl89 yes that would definitely explain it!! From what I remember I missed a period when I actually fell pregnant then had three around the times I'd normally be due on, then nothing else.

I was told it could result in baby coming early - he was two weeks late - or needing a c-section, which I did, but I don't know if that's why. But no other issues!

@DorsetGirl89 so I should probably have caveated by saying I have a bicornuate uterus, I basically got periods until baby was big enough for one half of my womb to realise there was a baby in the other half. But I know people who've bled for other reasons/no reason and been absolutely fine too!

Me too! What a journey you have had.
Nothing happening here at all unfortunately. I had a couple of positive tests in Sept but it only lasted a day. This will be cycle 12 so wondering whether it’s time to call it a day (we do have a lovely 2 year old).
Having some fertility testing in a couple of weeks but have a feeling we’re going to be told the only option is IVF and I’ve not much appetite to put myself through that considering the stats for my age.

@CSR721 congratulations!
@DorsetGirl89 congrats to you too! Have they offered you progesterone? Ask for it if not!

Im 6dpo today so starting to get into symptom spotting territory though I’m on progesterone so realistically know that any symptoms will be caused by that. Work has been really tough and I’m exhausted so hoping that doesn’t affect anything.

Sa11yCinnamon · 06/03/2026 08:23

Wishing you all the luck @DorsetGirl89 ! I bled throughout my first trimester with my son, it definitely doesn't have to mean game over x

overwork · 06/03/2026 07:53

Oh hi @DorsetGirl89 girl, I remember you and your story (how could I not). I am so hopeful that you get your happy ending, you couldn’t deserve it more

Sounds like you've had a really tough time, I'm so pleased this little one looks like they're a fighter! Fingers crossed for a sticky one

Thoughts with those of you who have had losses 💕 and thinking of those of you in the tww 🤞 I have been fortunate enough to get my bfp this month 🥰 here's hoping it sticks!

tiutinkerbell · 05/03/2026 09:38

@Sa11yCinnamon THANK YOU for this hope! Just what I needed today. I was going to skip using my progesterone this month as I thought there wasn't much hope, but I've decided to go ahead and try with it anyways.

Sa11yCinnamon · 05/03/2026 09:08

@tiutinkerbell my son was a happy accident after DTD once on O day, once is all it takes! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

tiutinkerbell · 05/03/2026 08:51

Finally got my very late ovulation confirmed by the app, so I am 3DPO now but on CD25. Only managed O day this month so pretty low chance!

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 05/03/2026 07:33

7 dpo and time is dragging!! I felt some pain in the ovary region yesterday, a bit like ovulation pain. So panicked that I hadn’t ovulated when I thought I had so took an ovulation test which was soooooo low it was laughable. So fingers crossed the pain was something else. Also, otherwise my timing for dtd is going to have been all off!

LizzyRL · 04/03/2026 07:01

@anxiousme1i think it's just when you feel ready to try again and also you body. I had a mmc and it took my body quite a while to be ready but mentally I was so I think it's just when you feel it's right to try again, sending you so much luck

@BurningOutti think I've got it down to knowing when I get a peak though I think that still doesn't actually mean you've 100% ovulated, I find it really stressful in the run up to getting the peak though in case it doesn't happen, even though I know it doesn't actually confirm ovulation 😅 ttc is not for the faint hearted!

BurningOutt · 03/03/2026 23:39

@anxiousme1 you can try again as soon as you feel ready - it can be the very next cycle if you like. I’ve suffered from recurrent mcs and have conceived the cycle immediately following a mc quite a few times (mcs caused by something totally different and now treated).

@LizzyRL those tests look very dark to me! I never really got ovulation tests to work so just tend to go by EWCM - is that a reliable indicator for you?

Anya23 · 03/03/2026 16:37

@Flataf

Progression one a day 🤷🏻‍♀️🫶

Does anyone have any advice on when to ttc again after miscarriage?

Anya23 · 03/03/2026 16:37

Anya23 · 03/03/2026 16:36

To be honest I think it was darker on 28/02 - at this point it should be much darker if you're pregnant. I read some stories where tests never got much darker with time, but it's really rare.. Try and go have your hcg levels checked from blood, because this seems quite weird
