Hi all, I’m just starting my TWW. I track LH and my surge was on Monday 12th so guessing I ovulated around the 13th.

I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle. Counting the bleeding from that as CD1 I ovulated on CD10 which took me by surprise.

I’ve got a toddler and school age child and TTC baby no. 3!

I hope people will join me complaining about the wait! Last cycle with the CP I started to feel sick from 8DPO and had a faint BFP on 10DPO when I first tested. The nausea hit me hard but the bleeding started around the time my period was due and I got a BFN after 2 days of bleeding, it took a few more days for the nausea to go.

Fingers crossed for this cycle, I’d love an October baby!

GUYS

I caved and did a test. 9DPO I think I have a very faint BFP 🥹

Can’t get too excited yet. It might not stick, but there is hope 😁

Looks good to me! Fingers crossed for you!

I’ll join!! I’m 2/3dpo and have been trying for 18 months with 3 MC and some chemicals in between. Praying this is our month ❤️

Okay. I think I’m going to test on Sunday morning. That’ll be 12DPO which I don’t think is unrealistic if this cycle has worked. I like to have a goal 🤣

We go to a church so whatever the test shows I’ll have some headspace there to do some processing.

It turns into such a mind games doesn’t it @Thomsonetthompson! You’re right that feeling sick with a reason is so much better than random nausea. Fingers crossed for you.

I’m so impatient. I’ve known a few people get pregnant straight after a loss and I really want that to be me 🙃

I feel like I’ve got a lot of hormone rage this month already, like my period is coming.

But only 7DPO ish not much will really be happening yet anyway.

Hope you have chance to rest @oogumboogum and thank you for your kind words.

So sorry you're feeling sick - it's alright feeling sick when you think it's for a purpose but when it's not a symptom it's rubbish.

I symptom-spotted so hard for the first few cycles after our last loss and every month I convinced myself I was and obviously every month I wasn't. This month I've got all my classic symptoms of pregnancy but I'm forcing myself to remain unexcited.

oogumboogum · 20/01/2026 07:42

Hey @HampsterCheese90 sorry to hear you’re feeling sick, hope this next week goes quickly for you. Nothing to report here so far except for being v tired, but that’s due to a hectic work schedule I reckon. 6DPO by now, feel like that’s probably too early to have any symptoms? Like you, looking forward to it being over for this month and knowing either way!

HampsterCheese90 · 19/01/2026 14:58

How’s everyone getting on? I feel a bit happier that by this time next week I’ll know either way for this month.

I feel sick again today but I’ve given up counting that as a possible symptom 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi I’ll join! My surge was Monday/Tuesday so take it I ovulated either 13th or 14th (think I felt a twinge Tuesday eve but who knows!) Cycle 5 of TTC our first, so still early days but I’m finding it so hard not to drive myself mad in the TWW every month! No sign of anything on any cycle so far, all BFNs if I’ve tested but AF always regular and I’ve ovulated each month which I’m taking as a good sign for now.

AF due 28th so I’m going to try to hold out testing til then… q busy with work next week so hoping it’ll be a distraction but easier said than done! Wishing you all the best of luck!

HampsterCheese90 · 16/01/2026 14:04

I am so over reading symptoms already and it’s only 3DPO 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t think it’s even possible to be pregnant yet.

I feel a bit sick but I don’t think it’s pregnancy sick it’s more I’m very tired sick because I keep finding it really hard to get to sleep 🙄

I also only had about a week of not feeling sick after the chemical pregnancy so my body is probably just still a bit confused.

My first was the 2nd month of trying to avoid ovulation as contraception. So this second experience has been a big shock tbh.

I'm only 30 so 6 months does seem too early to be asking for tests but we've always conceived straight away before the ectopic.

I hope you get a sticking pregnancy this month!

Hi, I'll join! I'm 2dpo on cycle 14 of TTC #2. Next cycle will be 6 months of trying since my ectopic so I've decided that's my deadline for asking for the doctor to check my tubes etc. We're temporarily living abroad so that will be really expensive so I'd really prefer to get pregnant now and save the £1000s!

Fingers crossed!!! Thanks for joining.

Did it take long when you were TTC your first? I think mine were 3rd and 4th cycle so not too long. I was in my 20s though.

It’s so hard to know when to ask for help isn’t it.
