Little background started trying in May 2025. Conceived in June however had a MMC at 12 week. Scan end of August, ended in medical miscarriage at the start of September.
I had a chemical beginning of December.
baby number 1 was so easy and quick and I’m struggling atm with two losses, the new year and no pregnancy :(
I am looking to start a thread so that women in a similar situation can post and share their experiences on what can be a very lonely ttc journey ❤️

I am CD2 xx

Is anyone else rubbish with LH strips? I tested last month and never got even close to a positive, admittedly it was christmas week so my testing habits were a little patchy (but at least once a day) and I was pretty well hydrated with wine. But I'm CD12 today and still getting low results on the easy@home tests. My cycles are 26 days on average so all my research tells me I should have a positive opk by now... genuinely concerned I'm not even ovulating 😫

Sounds like you need to keep testing, maybe more than once a day the closer you get to Ov to catch peak. I also have a 26/27 day cycle but don’t usually Ov until CD 16/17.

@Lola266 sounds like you had a great session of reflexology!
do you think it looks positive? Not sure of DPO - I didn’t track and period is due today but I think I ovulated 2-3 days later than the app predicting period date says (based on quite obvious ovulation pain) - based on that I am maybe 11-12 DPO but not sure?
also I don’t know if the line came up in the first three mins as I stopped looking after 2 thinking it’s negative!
I’m not getting my hopes up, got one more of these tests so will try either FMU tomorrow…

Lola266 · 16/01/2026 17:46

Welcome both @CSR721& @MamaOooh❤️

@mumofroaww really I have emailed my private dr about going on the Medication but he hasn’t replied 😅 can I ask when you had the bloods how long after loss was it? I’m asking because I had my bloods taken around 2 weeks after my chemical which I think may have impacted my results. X

@wonderlust07fingers crossed for you! I hope it’s not a long 2ww ❤️

@CrazyKJ we’re similar I’m cd 13 and had my high on a clear blue digital today. Weirdly lots of cm which I can’t say I’ve noticed this much before, hoping it’s a good sign for us xx

@GreenApple121OMG that deffo looks like a positive to me 🙏🏻❤️
what DPO are you ? X

sorry for the silence this week it’s been non stop. I tried fertility reflexology last night and it really has relaxed me and I’m aching today which is a good sign it’s done its thing 😂 I have booked acupuncture on Monday will let you all know how it goes xx

Hi ladies!
can you have a look at this test- I took it and nothing came up in 2 mins then I had to rush off and left it. Coming back now I see something but looks more like an evap? It does have some colour but don’t think it’s the positive line right?

Morning ladies 😊 I CD12 today and LH strips still low. It’s rare for me to Ov before cd 16/17, so no surprise there. I started getting more cm last night and has continued this morning (don’t usually get ewcm around Ov just randomly through the month). So hoping it means something and I might be gearing up to Ov early this month 🤞weird thing to be excited by but I’ve had a short LP for ages lol. Hope everyone else is doing okay X

wonderlust07 · 16/01/2026 09:41

Hi, how is everyone? I think I ovulated this week (my cycles still all over the place) but I had a LH surge on Tuesday and then dropped Wednesday so assuming I may have ovulated on Wednesday. This would have been CD15 if we count from my tiny bit of spotting when I thought AF was due. I am going to try and keep busy for the next few days.

mumofro · 15/01/2026 20:47

I am cycle day 9 today - usually ovulate day 14. Doing dry Jan, eating as healthy as possible and added extra vitamins. Fingers crossed for us all ❤️

Hi all welcome ❤️ sorry for your losses it’s honestly the hardest thing xx

Sorry for the delay but I had my results for my bloods yesterday and it wasn’t the news I thought it would be. The results came back and said I had a slightly raised anticardiolipin antibodies. Also my Natural killer cells are raised (21%) normal range is below 20%.
He said the best option for me is to go through IVF I’m not sure I trust his opinion as it seemed to be all that he could suggest.
But when I asked what I could do to reduce the numbers he said baby asprin daily 😂 he also said diet, working out etc but was basically saying I’ll miscarry again and IVF was the only way to avoid that.
anyway im not sure if that helps about the baby asprin.
I went to my GP to discuss the bloods with them and they’re doing my bloods again but he wasn’t sure if he could do the NK cells. Just waiting on them now :)
I’m not sure where that leaves me tbh feeling more confused than ever.

hope everyone’s ok ❤️

I also have high NK cells, they discovered them when i was first referred to the multi miscarriage unit after lots of tests. For the first 6 months i was given prednisone steroids and progesterone pessaries. Taking them from day 1 after ovulation for 10 days. Test if not pregnant stop taking, if pregnant continue taking. I however miscarried twice whilst on the medication, so now have added hydroxychloroquine to mix. Was it the MM unit that also discovered your high cells? Xx

MamaOooh · 14/01/2026 16:28

Please can I join you ladies? We are on cycle #5 and I am CD7 today so nearly approaching fertile window.

Trying to stay positive but I was so convinced last month was our month - we had loads of sex during FW and then my period was later than usual so I was so hopeful.. then just when I decided I would test the next day my period arrived! Gutted. So here we go again.

I'm 32 and lucky enough to have an amazing 4.5 year old daughter. We had an unplanned pregnancy around 18 months ago that ended in TFMR and it took us almost a year to decide to try again.

Wishing everyone loads of luck this cycle!!

CSR721 · 11/01/2026 21:11

Hi I'd love to join.. TTC for baby #2 I have a DS who was 3 in November. We were planning on taking a relaxed "if it happens it happens" approach but we've been doing that for about 6 months with no luck so Im now back doing what I really didn't want to be doing in terms of tracking cycles and ovulation etc. Just got my period though so no luck this time around 😩 ive also been diagnosed with adenomyosis since my last pregnancy.

LizzyRL · 11/01/2026 07:25

I caved, 9dpo and the most negative of bfn. I know it's early but think this isn't my cycle but we will see!

Lola266 · 10/01/2026 14:53

Good luck both and keep us posted still very early ❤️
I remember on both my recent pregnancies last year I looked back at my Flo app and my boobs did not start to hurt until 2 days before I was due on. Whereas usually my boobs hurt a week / 10 days before my period. I know every pregnancy is different but I think that’s how I know if I’m out or not haha.
With my son he was planned but I felt like my period was coming so I didn’t test until I was a week late which is crazy now because I can’t help but to test early 😂 but it was my first pregnancy and it felt so similar to pms I thought my period was coming haha

LizzyRL · 10/01/2026 12:27

Hey I'm similar to you, about 8dpo though according to my tests I ovulated quite a bit later this month but once I did the lines were really strong. Not holding out much hope but so far resisted testing😅

GreenApple121 · 10/01/2026 11:23

How’s everyone doing?
I’m about 8-9 DPO and been having some ‘symptoms’ of headaches and nausea last two days, so couldn’t resist and tested yesterday with cheap Boots strips - thought I saw some shadow on a test, tested again with FMU this morning and of course stark negative! Hate not being able to resist the ridiculously early testing…

@Lola266 I've tried acupuncture and didn't love it but I've found reflexology SOOO good for stress! x

Lola266 · 09/01/2026 09:29

Hey,
yeah and from what I have read on my blood results the NK cells active range were normal so although high there not active - not sure if I’m understanding it wrong but it’s sounds like that means there not in attack mode ? I’m thinking of going to another dr for a second opinion on my results to be sure. Also waiting on the nhs ones and I have sent my private ones to my GP and he said he will look into and look at my new ones too. Hopefully I can a resolution X

but yeah I’m 100% going to be taking asprin going forward I started taking it Wednesday cycle day 4 and will continue taking it now :)

I'm also trying to go on daily walks about 30-40 minutes each day and try and keep active. My diet is ok and I take pregnacare conception and omega 3 daily. I just haven’t felt like moving since the miscarriage 4 months ago, so hopefully this gets my body on the right track.

I'm also thinking of trying acupuncture for stress has anyone tried this and does it work 😅? X

Hey,

yeah I’m just not sure. My levels are not alarming so it hard to tell. I just don’t like the fact he went straight to IVF instead of getting to the route of whats going on. We are unsure because of the cost and also no guarantee it will work. It’s so hard.

we think we might try for the next couple of months and go from there xx

Sounds like a good plan to try for a bit. I remember reading on Tommy’s website about NK cells and that it’s not actually that clear what are optimal levels for fertility/conception?
will you be trying the baby aspirin do you think?
wishing you all the best!!

So sorry to hear you had difficult news today!
I don’t know much about NK cells but heard about them on other threads. It doesn’t sound like your level is massively higher than the normal range though?!
how are you feeling? Do you think you will try some more before deciding about IVF?
hope you’re ok!
interesting though what they said about baby aspirin and lifestyle too?

Hi all, really pleased to have found this thread as I am in a similar position! DS was born in Oct 2023 and conceived third cycle (after a chemical second cycle). Started TTC #2 May 2025, had BFP end of October and sadly just before Christmas had an MC at 10 weeks. I only just got the negative test on Saturday just gone (3 weeks after the bleeding started). Floored me a bit but ready to start trying again. I'm 35 though and suffer from irregular cycles, cycles are between 30-45 days. Obviously I am ovulating but considering going for private testing and then trying to get Clomid or something to hopefully make my cycles more regular and therefore have more "chances" but not sure if that's usually prescribed for women who don't ovulate at all. I've had all the testing for PCOS but that's been ruled out, and never really had an answer as to why I have long cycles (and it's been that way since I was a teenager, so not really a "lifestyle" thing).
