Hi everyone, I created the TTC 2025 thread but as we are heading into a new year, it only seems right to start a new thread. Anyone here going to be TTC in 2026? I started my journey earlier this year and after 9 months/cycles trying, I’m yet to see a positive test. Finding it difficult not to lose hope but hopefully 2026 will be our year. Would love to connect with others who are trying to conceive. It’s a tough journey but it helps to have a supportive group of women to chat to! ❤️ Good luck everyone, baby dust for 2026!

So sorry @EmCha That must be so hard. Friends/ relatives getting pregnant when all you want to be is pregnant is the worst. I’ve only been trying for 6 months but already in the “why doesn’t my body work” headspace 😢. Going to try to get a GP appointment soon to see if there is anything they can do to help. I’ve got a holiday next week which, in my head when I booked it, I was going to be 6 months pregnant for, But now I don’t even seem to be ovulating 😢

How are you doing with the fertility appointments? Any news there?

Thanks, it’s so hard. Good idea to get a dr appointment as tests can take time.

No update on the fertility appointments. My partner has a semen analysis in late June so got to wait until that’s done to look at next steps. His first test in Feb showed 1% morphology but because his count and motility was so good we are hoping that it’s not too much of an issue. He’s also been on ubiqunol supplements since his last test so fingers crossed for better results and even better, a positive pregnancy test. 🤞

Just found out my friend is pregnant, first try. Meanwhile I’m in the TWW of cycle 14. Why doesn’t my body work? 😞

I see a shadow I think but not sure how much I trust the blue dye tests! How’s it looking today?

Sorry, you have probably posted all of this before, but what things have you tried and what tests did they do? Have you had any ultrasounds/internal assessments?

I had the appointment last week with Yorkshire Fertility. They were lovely but it was just an initial appointment with a nurse so running through our history. My partner has got to go for a repeat semen analysis but once we get those results back then we can have an appointment with the consultant to discuss next steps which will probably start with a HSG. I wish I could just get booked in for that now but the consultant doesn’t look at our case until we have the initial results back and the consultant is the only one who can arrange the HSG from what I understand.

I did have a pelvic ultrasound during the appointment and discovered I have a possible second cyst on my ovary. I always knew I had one but the nurse thought she could see a second one behind it. So I possibly have a haemoragic cyst and an endometrioma. She counted my follicles and found 6 on the right and estimated around 10 on the left but was hard to see due to the cysts. She advised an AMH test just because she couldn’t get the most accurate look but I don’t think I’m going to bother as it’s £98 and I think it’ll just stress me out more!! She could see a decent number of follicles so surely I’m ok in that sense?

Please can I join? Had one period postpartum where I peaked 3 times before ovulating. No positive LH this month and CD20, finding it really hard mentally already

Thank you. Sorry I missed this reply. Just come on my period again for cycle 13. I just feel broken. Went to meet my friend’s newborn today. I remember when she told me she was pregnant at 7 weeks and the dream was to be pregnant at the same time. When it didn’t happen for months I was so scared that she’d have her baby before I even conceived and that’s exactly what’s happened.

We have had the basic tests done and everything was fine. Now with the fertility clinic for next steps. I hate that this is my journey, it’s so unfair.

I am sorry @EmCha. i know you track ovulation etc but is it only in your fertile window that you try? It didn’t happen for me for almost a year. Then I got pregnant outside my fertile window when I did not expect it. Still battling the anxiety around it even though it is so wanted!

im just in my first cycle so new to this game - should be due AF on Thursday so I’m praying that she doesn’t come and I’ll be taking a test early next week - but of course I know chances of it happening first cycle are extremely low so I don’t have my expectations up 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Evening all. Joining this thread at 11dpo and this morning noticed a tiny bit of brown discharge on wiping - thought Aunt Flo had arrived early, but had very very sore boobs. We weren’t trying but not preventing and I got these results. Very very early but 🤞🏻 will be following here! X

Tested at what I thought was 12dpo (still struggling to get a positive read on easy@home ovulation tests) and bfn. This was a couple of days ago. I know we haven't timed this right if ovulation occured later, we both had work trips. So now I need to wait for my period.

I'm going to try wondfo ovulation tests and concentrate on confirming I'm actually bloody ovulating. Work has been so stressful recently that there is a good chance I'm not!

Wishing everyone luck for their current or next cycle (if in a similar boat to me)

I'm using free version of fertility friend app for 15 years now and it helps with confirming ovulation, and also symptoms spotting and it's gives you your stats and predictions after you record 3 cycles. I put there my temperature in a morning and it creates graph and also you put there your test results and other things so it's easier to track your ovulation and cycle in general.
