2WW-ers - anyone due around June 21st want to wait together?

I am due between June 21st and June 28th. Will be on holiday most of that time though - am trying to debate whether to take test stick with me. If due 21st then probably didn't BD at right time, if it's a 35 day cycle though I will have.

Great to wait with you...

Hi Tomtum, How are you? Any morning sickness yet? Hope everything's good.

No idea how cabbagepatchkid got on... come back CBK and tell us.

Well my period arrived in the end - 36 day cycle. So maybe periods still settling down. I am kind of gutted as def missed ovulation last month and had all the signs and everything! Silly me! Anyway - hey ho - full steam ahead for this month! My new plan is to just do the deed as much as possible without counting days etc. Wasn't sure if stress might have also delayed AF as had been obsessing about conceiving so much. So here's to the new, relaxed me. It's going well so far! Anyway - will keep y'all updated, although it might be a good while yyet!

Hope everyone else is doing well. Alibobster = how are things going?

tomtum · 02/07/2008 20:11

IBL - how are things now? Fingers still crossed for you

Cherub - have you been to the doctor's yet? My appointment isn't until next Wednesday ... too far in the future really!

Anyone know how cabbagepatchkid got on? Maybe there might be some more BFPs here yet!

imaginarybluelines · 29/06/2008 10:00

Hi everyone,
Thanks for asking, but unfortunately no updates here - no period and no BFP so not really sure what's going on! Have actually managed to just relax and stop thinking about it now! We'll hve to just keep trying and hope that I am actually ovulating at some point!

So glad it's all going well for you Cherub - I hope you get that early scan. Confirmation is always so good. I remember I kept thinking I had made baby number one up, until I had a scan that showed she was really in there.

Hi everyone else (Big Wave).

cherubtastic · 28/06/2008 19:36

Oh Alibobster Lots of babydust this month, and good luck at the gym! Well done for joining

Evening tomtum - how are you feeling? I'm still checking Have Dr's appt next week so am going to ask for an early scan to hopefully put my mind at rest!

How's everyone else? Any more BFP's/POAS updates???

IBL???

Alibobster · 25/06/2008 22:13

Hi Tomtum, thanks for asking - AF arrived today. Had a wee cry at the time but surprisingly I don't actually feel to bad about it now- went and joined the gym tonight, with DH, so I'm really looking forward to that, it will be good to have something else to focus on plus hopefully getting a bit fitter will help with the ttc. Hope things are still good with you and you're keeping well x

tomtum · 25/06/2008 12:54

cakesandchocolate - still looking okay (fingers crossed) thanks. Might join you cherub at knicker checkers anonymous - I'm having the odd crampy pains now and then - but other than that can't complain .

I think the TTC does muck up your sex life - DH didn't take it well when he found out he had a low sperm count, but hopefully if things turn out okay he can feel a bit more 'manly' now

Alibobster - how are things today?

Alibobster · 24/06/2008 20:33

Sorry Cherub, need to hand back my gold star - tested today and it was a BFN - also have some brown blood appearing, albeit a tiny bit, but I'm not at all hopeful. Tomtum, many congratulations, that's great news and good luck to everone still hanging in there - the waiting is really shit but I'm so glad I've got my MN pals who make it so much more bearable x

cherubtastic · 24/06/2008 14:32

Oh IBL - how frustrating that you could have missed ov! Maybe there was already some little swimmers around before hand?? (sorry - sounds gross lol).

Yaya tomtum - Congrats again!

Sounds V promising Alibobster! And well done you for holding out on the testing! Give the girl a gold willpower star

I'm good ta C&C - not so sick, fairly hungry but also with the af type cramps. I know (hopefully) that it is just stretching and stuff but I can't help but be paranoid! May join the knicker checker annonymous thread

And yes ttc did affect my sex life - after 2 yrs of every other day we stopped being sexy/spontanious etc - It was just "Oi get in here it's 10 o'clock....and BE QUICK" or something similar - not v romantic

cakesandchocolate · 24/06/2008 08:45

Sounds hopeful alibobster. What you should do is wait a few days and then test. What I'd do is buy pg test from ebay (£5 for 20!) and use them all over the next few days!!
IBL - sounds frustrating. My best mate gor PG after 1 year by stopping trying! She is now 29 weeks due to an expensive bottle of red...
Cherub - how you doin? I promised myself when/if I get PG to enjoy this one (will be the last) as I hated being PG last 2 times- all the loss of control- but it's hard when you feel vile.
Tomtum - all still good I hope?
Queenie -You trying again next month?
Here's a question for you all - is the ttc and bd to order thing doing your sex life and relationship harm or good?

Alibobster · 23/06/2008 21:09

Thought AF was due sometime between Saturday and today at the latest, but still no sign. Today was DS's 2nd birthday so that was really nice and I wasn't really thinking about AF, and I don't have any HPT's in the house so not tempted to test. It's such a nice and exciting feeling to think that I could be pg that I'm now scared to test as I can't bear the disappointment when it's a BFN. I did have some symptoms last week, mainly sore boobs, but nothing now - don't know what to do

imaginarybluelines · 23/06/2008 19:53

tomtum - I am annoyed at myself as had very noticable ewcm last week and ignored it and didn't BD as was convinced period was coming in a few days. Grrrrrrrrrr. I think you're right and I my cycles are just longer - so we missed our chance this month. Unless I am pregnant and my body just refuses to acknowledge it on a pregnancy test! Have resumed BD'ing now though!

Queenie - I can't even imagine how frustrating and difficult it must be for you. I am finding the whole business of ttc stressful. I have discovered that I am ot a relaxed person and seem to tackle ttc like an army mission. Not very relaxing. I am going to back off a bit too - take a break from ttc without taking a break if you see what I mean? If that's possible. (Hmmmmmm...it'll be hard.) Good luck to you though. It'll happen. We jsut need to be patient.

queenie1 · 23/06/2008 19:37

Thanks cherub!

IBL - no AF means still a good chance. So fingers crossed for you.

Been feeling really shit the last couple of days and decided to post on the MC avengers thread. After the nightmare time I've been having, need to vent A LOT OF STEAM.

Contemplating not ttc next month and having a break from it all. But we'll see...no doubt probably all see you in a few weeks time...xx

tomtum · 23/06/2008 18:56

IBL - don't give up hope yet, and keep on BD! My sister-in-law conceived while still BF and her cycles were very long/odd.

Also, had another positive test Sunday morning so hope I can bring some luck.

imaginarybluelines · 23/06/2008 16:24

Nooooooooo news! No sign of period but also no sign of BFP (and believe me I've tested!) Rather frustrating. I am just going to have to try and stop thinking about it all now as there's no point. Who knows what's going on. I suppose my body is getting back to normal and my periods might not be regular for a while yet. So not sure if that means I am ovulating or not? Will keep trying. And thanks for asking!

How are you feeling? Hope all is going well so far!

Sorry to hear period showed up c&c. Next month!

cherubtastic · 23/06/2008 13:15

Sorry Cakes&Chocolate & Queenie Lots of babydust for next month.

Any news IBL?

cakesandchocolate · 23/06/2008 09:23

Hi everyone, AF turned up yesterday, was v blue. Seems daft, was so convinced it had happened this month.
Starting to think we are mad even trying - this would be no 3, have 2 fabbo boys. Maybe this is all just a sign to quit while we're ahead IYKWIM...
Off to the GP anyway as cycle gone all loopy and spotting in middle of month.
Maybe see you in a couple of weeks for more spotting!

imaginarybluelines · 21/06/2008 11:24

Awww Queenie I'm really sorry to hear that. Your DH sounds lovely though and a day out sounds just what you both need. It's so stressful isn't it - like you said it is definitely a self induced rollercoaster. All the am I, aren't I's are emotionally very draining and stressful. Let's hope next month is more successful. I am still hanging in there, but eed a distraction today before I go mad - and the rain isn't helping.

queenie1 · 21/06/2008 11:13

and what do you know...AF has just turned up. Burst into tears and DH is now taking me out for the day to cheer both of us up. It's really starting to get us both down.

Will keep logging on to hear how you are all getting on. BFPs give me hope that oneday it will happen for us too.
x

queenie1 · 21/06/2008 10:25

Tom-tom: souns very promising. A tentative congratulations!!

IBL: thought of you this morning. Fingers crossed for when you do it.

I went to bed convinced I was PG last night. Sore boobs, twinges in tummy and just had a very strong feeling. Dreamt last night that I was giving birth and saw two huge magpies that walked in front of me before coming to a tree full of them. So when I woke I gave in and tested early. BFN. And now how lower back cramps as if AF is on its way. I'm so fed up of this self-induced rollercoaster. Waiting now for AF to arrive as pretty convinced it will. If it doesn't come by Thursday though will test again...

Hope the rest of you have better luck with your developing BFPs. x

imaginarybluelines · 21/06/2008 09:23

Tomtum - fantastic news! So pleased for you! Let's hope it turns into a BFP today!

Cherub Thanks for advice on wee! Will do the 4 hour wee thing if I test later.

No sign of period yet, but I'm feeling not very positive about being pregnant. I don't know why. I guess it's just highly unlikely that I will be pg on first cycle after period returned post BF anyway. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. This could be a bit of a nightmare now though, as period just might be very irregular now, and I might just keep testing! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

cherubtastic · 21/06/2008 08:25

Apologies - Tomtum!!! got too excited with my typing!

cherubtastic · 21/06/2008 08:24

The HCG breaks down after 24 hrs so I suppose 8hrs would be ok. If you can hold on to your wee for 4 hrs at anytime of day they say that it is just as good as FMU. Especially if you drink things like coffee and eat salty food as it makes it more concentrated.

Yay tomtom! congratulations I like to call them LTP's (little thin positives)

tomtum · 21/06/2008 07:22

IBL - are you testing this morning then, or tonight?

I decided I couldn't wait any longer, and got a faint pink line this morning . Not sure if I could call it a BFP - think I'll retest tomorrow. I'm trying not to get too excited yet...

Anyone else tested/testing today? Good luck

imaginarybluelines · 20/06/2008 20:40

Testing early is so confusing isn't it! You get a BFN, but it doesn't help at all, as it still could be a BFP. I haven't tested since Tues, and am definitely going to test tomorrow if no sign of period. I am feeling sooooooooooo agitated now though. I have crampy pains, and back ache, but have had them all week, whcih I don't usually get before my period. I am also feeling headachy which is usually a sign of imminent period. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm and Arggggghhhhhhhhh. I Hate This Bit!
