Hi! This 2ww is driving me crazy. Can't think of anything else. Have already done 2 tests Yesterday I had so many symptoms but today apart from being incredibly tired nothing. Anyone else?

emma2617 · 25/06/2008 15:40

Yes I am Yarnie!! I have perked up a bit now though

I am still waiting for AF though! I am currently on CD38! One good thing the doctor did do was prescribe me an anti-emetic (to stop me feeling sick!) so at least I am not running to toilets in work every hour like I am about to vomit!!

Yarnie · 25/06/2008 15:21

Emma I'm so sorry - you're surrounded by idiots . Just ignore the silly woman. I expect she's just jealous of your young and probably pg self! I can't think of anything more sensible than buying a decent car to transport your offspring about it, both in terms of safety and economy. Please try and rise above it

emma2617 · 25/06/2008 08:38

Thats what I thought Yarnie...what is the point in testing for thyroid etc if he isn't at least going to rule out pregnancy?!

What a twit!

I have just had a woman at work (my closest friend there) tell me that I am not ready to be a mum I went to buy a new car last night as mine was on its last legs and due for tax and MOT which woul dhave cost me a fortune!! I got it on finance at £150 a month (bear in mind that is the only debt I have) and she said how could I go out and do that when I want a baby? And I quote "youre only 21 for gods sake, you've proved youre not ready to be a mum"

Who wants to be driving round in a death trap when your pregnant? Just because she is 30 and still not ready to have a baby, she is judging me the same. I feeli like crying and just want to go home

Yarnie · 25/06/2008 08:20

Emma I can't believe he didn't do any form of pregnancy test! What a wally! He may be right that your symptoms might be attributable to something other than pg (hope not, obv.), but why not take blood and rule it out? Seeing as you're, you know, ttc and everything?!!

emma2617 · 24/06/2008 14:40

Yes Ella a tad mnore than annoying!! Nope he didn't do any form of pregnancy test just to wait 2 weeks and do another test my self...I have decided I am going to re-tesr on friday!!

Ella74 · 24/06/2008 14:32

Oh Emma that's not really heplful of him. He didn't do a blood test to check for pregnancy??? Have you done a test yourself again? Sorry about this. Must be quite annoying.

emma2617 · 24/06/2008 12:27

Well...He's not really my favourite doctor as he is only at the GPs for a year to complete his GP rotation as he is a qualified hospital doctor...and it shows...he can't be bothered listening! He said that I should wait and test again around 3/4 July if AF hasn't shown, but that the symptoms I described could be caused by a number of things and that if I don't feel any different then I should call back on Friday and book in for some blood work (testing for thyroid function, anaemia and other such things!). He has also asked me to come in again in 2 weeks (which I have booked for 8th July) if I am not feeling any better.

So basically to sum up...wait for TWO WEEKS this is going to be a looooooong wait

Ella74 · 24/06/2008 11:15

Emma how did it go at the doctor's?

OP posts:
emma2617 · 23/06/2008 08:27

Morning Yarnie No news yet, I am at the doctors at 10.20!

But I have just realised that if I am not pregnant we are looking at a 25 day luteal phase so far...which is seriously abnormal!!

I will be back on when I return from the doc!

Yarnie · 23/06/2008 08:15

Any new news Jen or Emma?

Hi everyone

emma2617 · 22/06/2008 20:48

Ella74 · 21/06/2008 10:56

Congratulations Lully . That's great. I am so pleased for you. Hope you got the kind of reaction from your DH you were hoping for.

Did lots of BD this month so felt positive we had a good chance. think I O Day 17 according to OPK and persona so should be seeing AF tomorrow!!! Havent tested for 2 days, have really sore lumpy bbs and that makes me think AF is coming :-( xx

Yarnie · 20/06/2008 12:12

Lully We got two BFPs!! That's FABULOUS Well. I think all the rest of us should return for the next round in the hope we can knock a couple more out!

LullyMummaOfOne · 20/06/2008 11:12

I know what you mean Emma, im going to test again tomrrow morning as i still cant believe it.
DH wont be home until about 9pm tonight so i have a long wait, its so hard not to give in and tell him over the phone, thats what i did last time and i want impressed with his response. This time i can see his face ha ha!

I will look out for all the info on Monday Emma, good luck at the doctors.

emma2617 · 20/06/2008 10:52

Congrats Lully That will be quite a surprise for DH!!!

Thanks Mandy I am still a tad in limbo as First Response was BFP but CB digital was BFN! Am going to test again today and see what it says, then I am at the doctors on Monday...Trying not to celebrate to early!

Mandy73 · 20/06/2008 10:30

Emma & Lully - OMG OMG !!!

LullyMummaOfOne · 20/06/2008 09:42

Congratulations Emma thats great news, this must be a lucky thread as i did my last Clear blue this morning and also got a BFP!!! Im shaking too and still cant believe it. Havent had the chance to tell DH yet, i want to suprise him when he gets home tonight!

Yarnie · 20/06/2008 08:11

Emma I wouldn't worry too much. You know what they say, a positive is a positive, but a negative isn't always a negative. As I understand it, this is particularly the case with First Response and other pink dye tests. I'm sure you'll be reassured by your test on Monday Take it easy, chicken.

emma2617 · 20/06/2008 08:06

Well ladies...lets hang fire with the celebrations for a couple more days!! First Response = BFP, CB digital = BFN ?!?!

I am going to retest on Monday to try and get a definative answer!

Ella74 · 20/06/2008 00:49

Congratulations Emma! I am so happy at least someone on this thread was successful. Well done. It's lovely seeing that it can finish with a happy ending.

How are you doing Lully?

OP posts:
emma2617 · 19/06/2008 19:19

bamboostalks · 19/06/2008 19:15

Have just read this thread and so excited for you Emma, that is the best feeling, I had a feeling about you all along!! Congratulations.

emma2617 · 19/06/2008 19:08

There is nobody home...I have noone to be happy with!!! So I have decided to be happy with myself on here instead!!

I don't really know what to do, or what to think!! I though I knew what I was doing...turns out I only knew so far as actually getting pregnant, never actually thought about the bit inbetween that actually having a baby!! Ooops
