@LuckyDuck93that’s reassuring to hear. Did your hobby have similar results? My partners morphology is only 0.5% which is very low and that’s what worries me the most. The low sperm count worries me less as I know this is easier to improve. He’s already on some supplements but we’ve added some more in and cut out caffeine completely

@Fullofconfusion oh bless you that's a totally new type of pressure isn't it, i'm sure you're already doing this but my hubby had the same and we did the whole stopping hot baths, taking supplements etc for 3 months and it made a huge difference to his next results in a relatively short space of time x

so after the latest chemical we decided to go for fertility testing. Bloods and scan all good for me. AMH of 8.1 which I think is fairly good for my age. My partner however has a low sperm count and the morphology is incredibly low so there are very few “normal” sperm. Clinics advice is to have IVF and sooner rather than later. She did say it’s not impossible for us to get pregnant naturally but it would be a lot harder and we don’t have time on our side due to my age.

So we have a lot of thinking and hard conversations to have. We can’t afford IVF so would have to look at borrowing the money somehow. This makes me nervous as it’s not a guaranteed outcome even with IVF. I’m in a complete pickle and have cried on and off since we got the results.

Not the happiest update from me but at least we kind of know where we are now

All quiet for me on TTC front at the moment... currently anxiously awaiting my blood test results from the latest round of fertility tests. I was emailed on Monday to say they'd been reviewed and to expect a letter soon. Have been holding off TTCing or making a decision on whether to continue to TTC til we get these results so we'll see...

Had a big chat with DP until the early hours of the morning the other night discussing various scenarios... Talking about what was important to each of us when it comes to having a family together, what our considerations were and what would need to the focus or priority depending on what avenue we choose to go down.

Will report back if/when I get this letter... But, it has been quite nice in a way to not have the pressure of TTC hanging over us the last few months. We've had a lovely weekend away to Belgium, we've enjoyed lovely meals out, had a few drinks together!

I didn’t take any further tests. I wasn’t feeling confident as the lines weren’t really progressing but the last one was much fainter than previously. I started to bleed today so it’s another chemical as I thought.

Roll on June when we have our referral to the early loss clinic. It’s got to the point where I’m not sure I can keep trying for much longer

My line this morning is incredibly faint. I think this is another chemical. I’m going to stop the progesterone and let nature take its course. Feeling very sad today again

@Blondepeachits definitely not easy to keep the hope but it’s there. 2 miscarriages, 1 chemical and a TFMR for me.

I called EPAU and they will put up some progesterone. They’ve also booked me an early reassurance scan for 7 weeks 🤞🏻

@Fullofconfusion completely understand keeping it to yourself for now, I think I tested for around 10 days and every morning I was just waiting for the tests to fade, but this time it didn’t (I had x3 chemicals and an ectopic prior).

All you can do is hang onto some hope which is an absolute mind game itself! Everything crossed for you ❤️

@Blondepeachthat’s so helpful, thank you for posting them. My original test which would have been 9DPO looks like your second one so there is progression. I’m just totally in my head about it because our journey has been a very difficult one. I’ve also not told my partner yet as wanted to check it was progressing and wasn’t a chemical. He’s massively struggled with the losses and is stressed at work at the moment so I didn’t want to cause more stress for him.

I’ll give EPAU a ring and ask about progesterone today. And then keep fingers, toes and all other extremities crossed that this is finally a sticky one!

@Fullofconfusion I would also say that’s a good line for 11dpo! I’ve attached my 9-11dpo tests, so mine was probably even a little fainter. Also remember hcg should double every other day rather than every day ☺️

I had progesterone ready to go which I took from my 10dpo test I think, so would say it’s definitely worth calling to try and get asap!

I think that’s a good line @Fullofconfusion- I’m not having to turn my phone on its side and squint, it’s very clear. No idea when you can get progesterone but you are very likely pregnant right now!

@BlondepeachI did. I’ve tested this morning. There’s a line but still incredibly faint. I’m worried that it may be a chemical as not darkened much between tests.

Did anyone take progesterone in early pregnancy? I know the EPAU said to ring them when I have a positive test but how positive does it have to be? 🙈 I realise this might be a silly question. I’ll add a photo of this morning’s test at 11DPO

I’m 8DPO and resisting testing. We’re going on holiday next week and I highly suspect that AF will arrive just before we go. I’ve got my usual cramps so she’s probably on her way already. For the last few months I’ve also been getting a really weird pain in my groin when AF is due and during my period. It’s not something I’ve had before but definitely seems to be linked to my cycle and is very uncomfortable. I hate the TWW. At least I have plenty of Easter chocolate to get me through!

@Fullofconfusion I'm doing well thank you, same as @Blondepeach though, feels like an out of body experience and i'm not sure i'll even believe it until baby is here!

@Taysonicyour situation sounds very similar to mine. I feel awful guilt that my partner doesn’t have his own child. He loves my son and they have a great bond but I know he’d love to have a baby together too. I sometimes think that if we had tried and nothing had happened it might feel different to us having the losses but we know we came so close that it’s hard to give up. But also incredibly hard to keep going when it seems to be heartbreak after heartbreak.

I feel like we’ve managed to DTD a good few times at the right time so fingers crossed. Officially in the 2 week wait now…the torture!
