Oh @TaysonicI’m so sorry. I’m glad you’re doing things for you and that you’re getting referred. Has your partner had any testing? Sorry I can’t remember if I’ve asked before. We always assumed it was my eggs being older but when we went for fertility tests we found he had a low sperm count and low morphology which may also have caused losses.
When EPAU confirmed my first scan she actually said “so this is pregnancy number 7?” It hit me quite hard as I have 1 living son. It’s just heartbreaking to think of all the loss.

@LuckyDuck93wow! 7 months. That’s amazing! Also invested in your journey. I bet the current heatwave isn’t particularly nice for you but so exciting to be so far along now

LuckyDuck93 · 08/07/2026 13:56

@Fullofconfusion oh I bet this is the longest week of your life!! I've got everything crossed that you get to see that heartbeat next week!

@Taysonic I'm so sorry you're going through this again, life is so cruel. But that referral sounds really positive and hopefully they can get you some answers and a plan. Sounds like you're really focusing on yourselves and doing all the nice things, which is so easy to forget when you're ttc!

I'm just over 7 months now 😮feeling large and hot, but apart from that in no position to complain at all, everything has been pretty normal, I always say to my husband I find it so odd that after all the waiting and all the fuss to get here, things can then just seem so straight forward xx

Taysonic · 08/07/2026 11:38

Oh @Fullofconfusion that sounds so promising and hopeful! Please keep us updated with what happens with your scan next week. Keeping all my fingers crossed for a certain and obvious heartbeat that will give you lots of reassurance.

How far along are you now @LuckyDuck93? Really keen to hear how you're getting on - I'm RIDICULOUSLY invested in your pregnancy and will be so excited to hear baby news when its time.

As for me - I did have a fifth miscarriage. I can't even believe I've now racked up five losses. I had a GP appointment today who was able to share more details of the fertility blood test results and despite them only telling me about the TPO positive result (thyroid antibodies), they hadn't told me that my T4 levels were also low. I'm now more convinced than ever that there's an underlying auto-immune issue that is the underlying cause of all of these.

She agreed to refer me to the Tommy's miscarriage clinic under Dr Quenby at The University Hospital Coventry. I really think she may be able to help me, and has previously helped a friend of mine many years ago with similar set of circumstances. It'll be a long 5 months waiting to be seen (at least) but... maybe I can go into the new year with a new sense of hope. In the meantime, I'm going to try and get myself as fit and healthy as I can whilst enjoying ALL the nice things - we've got three holidays booked in the next few months and just treating ourselves to all sorts of experiences and nice things.

Fullofconfusion · 07/07/2026 15:52

Hi @LuckyDuck93how are you doing? Hope everything is still going well with your pregnancy.

I’m currently almost 7 weeks pregnant. I still can’t get my head around it. I’ve had 2 scans so far. One last week showed just a sac and a yolk sac so I wasn’t too optimistic but then a scan 4 days later showed a tiny embryo although the sonographer couldn’t quite confirm a heartbeat. She saw something (as did my partner and I) but only a flicker and not enough to make her 100% sure. I have another scan next week so hopefully that will give some clarity as I’m still sort of half daring to hope and half still expecting things to not progress

LuckyDuck93 · 07/07/2026 15:42

@Taysonic @Fullofconfusion Hi ladies, just thinking of you both & hope you're doing ok ❤

LuckyDuck93 · 15/06/2026 11:41

@Taysonic what a rollercoaster for you. I don't think you're insane at all, it's the hope that keeps you going isn't it, which seems cruel but there is always that 'what if' in the back of your mind. Hope whatever happens you get an answer soon enough to put your mind at rest ❤

Fullofconfusion · 15/06/2026 10:44

Oh @Taysonicsending you the biggest virtual hug. It’s so very unfair that you might be going through this again. Is it worth asking for HCG bloods so that you’ll get a more definitive answer?

I’m still hanging in here but feeling so stressed. I took another test this morning (after promising myself that I would limit testing to once every 2 days) and I think it looks slightly darker. And if I compare to 10dpo (I’m 13 today) then it’s definitely darker. ChatGPT has become my best friend. I never “do” AI but the idea that a computer thinks lines are darker is somehow very reassuring.

However I am also aware that this is the 3rd time I’ve tested positive this year and after our results at the fertility clinic I can’t help but be pessimistic. So at the moment I’m taking the progesterone, trying to stay calm and trying to keep the hope at least a little bit

Taysonic · 15/06/2026 10:12

There's only been a very small amount of red blood but it looks like HCG is going down. Did a clear blue today, and despite getting 3+ on Friday, it was 2-3 today. Both done with FMU.

I know urine tests aren't exactly the most reliable but... I don't want to hold on to any sense of hope when I think theres little to no chance of this being viable.

Still taking progesterone for now. Will do until HCG drops down significantly I guess.

Just feel like I must be absolutely insane to be going through this again. Who does this to themselves this many times?!

LuckyDuck93 · 15/06/2026 09:12

@Taysonic Oh my gosh, only just catching up on this, how are you doing? You must feel so drained!
@Fullofconfusion tentative congratulations, i've got everything crossed for you x

Fullofconfusion · 14/06/2026 13:38

Oh @TaysonicI’m still hopeful for you. I know how you must feel though. It does feel totally hopeless at times.

I’ve still not told him. I’ve not told anyone. I’m only 12dpo so it’s still super early. I ovulated earlier this cycle as I’m usually late to ovulate and then have longer cycles because of this but I’m only cd29 today and I usually have 31 day cycles so it all feels a bit too soon to pin any hope on it.

I’m also restricting myself to testing every 2 days to check progression as otherwise I think I’ll drive myself nuts. Today’s test is darker than 2 days ago. We had a chemical in April that didn’t get any darker after 12dpo and then faded from 14dpo so I’m still not quite believing it.

Taysonic · 13/06/2026 20:57

Holy moly @Fullofconfusion - congratulations. How are you feeling? Have you told your partner yet?

Sadly, I don't think it's looking good for me. Again. Same old story. Had persistent dull cramps all afternoon and some bleeding when I went to the toilet earlier. I'm expecting the worst. Partner is trying to hold on to hope but I'm being far more realistic.

Maybe this just isn't meant to be for us.

Fullofconfusion · 12/06/2026 16:57

@Taysonicthat’s amazing news and I’m honestly sending you so much love and luck. I hope this is your time after all you’ve been through.

Well…I don't even know where to start. I’m stressed to death as our recurrent loss appointment has been cancelled and I seem to be back of the list again. I didn’t cancel it, it’s due to strike action. So I’m waiting to speak to PALS.

But…I tested earlier and got a positive. I’m 10dpo. I’ve not told my partner yet, I can’t put him through the stress again at the moment as there’s a lot going on in life in general. I intend to wait until next week IF this pregnancy progresses. Again, same as you, I have my doubts.

Have you spoken to EPAU? They routinely scan at 7 weeks in my area if you’ve had more than 3 losses

Taysonic · 12/06/2026 14:09

Fullofconfusion · 12/06/2026 11:31

@Taysonichow are you getting on lovely?

Hope everyone else is ok

Still pregnant...! Based on LMP, I'd be 5+2 today but I think those dates may be a little bit out and consider myself 5w today.

Took a Clear BLue digital this morning and got 3+ weeks. 🥹 With all our previous losses, HCG never rose high enough to get 3+ on a digital. Whilst I know it's not exactly a very reliable indicator, it's a big milestone for us.

Will probably see how things go in the next week, and if things are still going okay, will start doing self referrals etc.

Just don't want to jinx anything yet... I know everything can change within 30 mins, so just trying to take each day as it comes... And trying not to think too hard ahead.

@Fullofconfusion I know you said you weren't holding out a lot of hope for this cycle, but how's the TWW treating you? When's test day?

Fullofconfusion · 12/06/2026 11:31

@Taysonichow are you getting on lovely?

Hope everyone else is ok

Fullofconfusion · 07/06/2026 20:38

Oh @TaysonicI know that exact feeling that you’ve described too well. You’re doing all that you can. Every pregnancy is different and I have everything crossed for you that this is your sticky one. I’m not going to give any advice to relax or not test or anything. All the feelings you’re having are valid. Be kind to yourself.

@Blondepeachthats ever so kind. I think I’ve had those tests when I was pregnant previously so I’ll pass but it’s very kind of you to offer to anyone who may need it. Hope you’re doing well.

I’m currently in the 2nd again. Not expecting anything or even hoping for anything to be honest. I’m just tracking mainly to know where I am in my cycle. We have our NHS loss clinic appointment soon. Not sure if that’ll be at all helpful. My partner went to see the GP and he tried to dismiss his concerns (we’ve now confirmed he has a low sperm count) yet again. Very annoyed with GP on the male fertility side to be honest. But he’s agreed to refer him to urology for a scan. So we have a few things going on. No idea what the end result will be as we feel a bit hopeless at the moment but we’re waiting for a few more answers before we decide our path.

Taysonic · 06/06/2026 10:49

Oh lovely ladies... I am freaking out.

Cut a long story short: I am pregnant again. We hadn't intended on getting pregnant this cycle, it was a bit of a misjudgment of where I was in my cycle. We were waiting for the blood test results before making any decisions...

I did get my blood test results last week. Same as previously: all fine except for testing positive for thyroid antibodies. No treatment offered except heightened thyroid monitoring.

We had decided to give ourselves three months: let me continue to take supplements and build up coq10 to hopefully improve egg quality and aim for one last go at it.

And now I've just found out I'm pregnant. You'd think I'd be happy but I'm just sad and terrified because I don't expect this outcome to be any different than the others. I started taking progesterone again last night so... I guess I'll do what I can do but... In my heart of hearts, I fully expect this to be over again within two weeks.

Forgot to add my screenshot of what the sample tests for!

The Hopeful Hearts Circle 1 - December 2025🎄💖
Blondepeach · 02/06/2026 11:33

Hi ladies, I hope everyone from this thread is doing ok 💗

bit of a random one but back in December before I fell pregnant I had ordered a detailed STI test from AlphaBiolabs as had been reading about Ureaplasma and other underlying conditions that may be causing my early miscarriages. I’m 20 weeks now and had wondered if anybody on this thread would like me to post them the (unused obviously) sample collection test, as I paid £59 for it but don’t need it currently. Happy to give for free and just whoever has it pay the cost of me posting it to them. I believe all you have to do is register your details before sending the results away, this is all detailed inside the box.

no pressure at all as know most people on the thread have already had such tests done as part of fertility investigations, but just if someone on here was considering getting a Ureaplasma screening done I would be more than happy to donate it.

Hugs to all x

Fullofconfusion · 22/05/2026 13:39

Thanks @LuckyDuck93definitely food for thought. We’re still processing and assessing our next move at the moment. We can’t really afford IVF but if it’s the best option we might need to try and find the funds. Waiting for a retest for my partner just feels like wasting even more time…it’s a dilemma. Thank you so much for your input though. You’ve always been very supportive and it’s much appreciated. I’m so happy for you!

@Taysonichope your results give you some hope or at least some guidance. I feel like your situation is just so similar to mine. Glad you’ve had a nice break not worrying about TTC for a while

LuckyDuck93 · 21/05/2026 15:59

@Fullofconfusion his count was only just "low", morphology was 1.5% from what I can remember,it improved to 4% after 3 months, frustrating because we will never know whether it was just a bad result after a few hot baths or whether the supplements really did improve it!

Fullofconfusion · 21/05/2026 11:49

@LuckyDuck93that’s reassuring to hear. Did your hobby have similar results? My partners morphology is only 0.5% which is very low and that’s what worries me the most. The low sperm count worries me less as I know this is easier to improve. He’s already on some supplements but we’ve added some more in and cut out caffeine completely

LuckyDuck93 · 21/05/2026 09:02

@Taysonic @Fullofconfusion we're good thank you, still wondering when i'll ever believe this is happening though!
@Taysonic glad you've had a quieter few months without any pressure, it's nice to give yourselves that break isn't it. Hope you get some answers soon!

@Fullofconfusion oh bless you that's a totally new type of pressure isn't it, i'm sure you're already doing this but my hubby had the same and we did the whole stopping hot baths, taking supplements etc for 3 months and it made a huge difference to his next results in a relatively short space of time x

Fullofconfusion · 20/05/2026 20:52

@LuckyDuck93lovely to hear from you. How are you and baby doing? Hope all is well.

so after the latest chemical we decided to go for fertility testing. Bloods and scan all good for me. AMH of 8.1 which I think is fairly good for my age. My partner however has a low sperm count and the morphology is incredibly low so there are very few “normal” sperm. Clinics advice is to have IVF and sooner rather than later. She did say it’s not impossible for us to get pregnant naturally but it would be a lot harder and we don’t have time on our side due to my age.

So we have a lot of thinking and hard conversations to have. We can’t afford IVF so would have to look at borrowing the money somehow. This makes me nervous as it’s not a guaranteed outcome even with IVF. I’m in a complete pickle and have cried on and off since we got the results.

Not the happiest update from me but at least we kind of know where we are now

Taysonic · 20/05/2026 13:43

Ahhhh @LuckyDuck93 - more importantly, how are YOU getting on!?

All quiet for me on TTC front at the moment... currently anxiously awaiting my blood test results from the latest round of fertility tests. I was emailed on Monday to say they'd been reviewed and to expect a letter soon. Have been holding off TTCing or making a decision on whether to continue to TTC til we get these results so we'll see...

Had a big chat with DP until the early hours of the morning the other night discussing various scenarios... Talking about what was important to each of us when it comes to having a family together, what our considerations were and what would need to the focus or priority depending on what avenue we choose to go down.

Will report back if/when I get this letter... But, it has been quite nice in a way to not have the pressure of TTC hanging over us the last few months. We've had a lovely weekend away to Belgium, we've enjoyed lovely meals out, had a few drinks together!
