Hi everyone, just starting up a board for those of us thinking of TTC this month 😊 This is our first month TTC number 3. I just turned 40 so it's unlikely to happen quickly if at all, but we've decided to give it a couple of months just to leave it to fate! Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Don't know why I have gone and done this to myself but this came up pretty fast on a Clearblue ultra early test this morning, and I swear I could see the evap line appearing in front of my eyes too very shortly after this picture was taken!

I'll take a FRER tomorrow morning at 12DPO and try to not get my hopes up too high.

My body is mocking me😂 my cycles have been 27/28 days for months now so regular, before that it was anywhere up to early 30 but I'm on CD29 now still testing negative
I've had so many BFN with early tests and now normal ones as I'm due on but just wasn't meant to be this time and that's ok
Was so sure I had early pregnancy symptoms but I was also definitely looking for them so who knows. And then this week I feel like I had my usual PMS I'm just waiting for AF to come now.

This happened to me a few times over the past few months TTC. Late periods when I'm usually like clockwork, wrird symptoms which made me think I'm could be pregnant.. I think it might have actually been due to starting folic acid in advance, .as this can apparently affect some women's cycles. So I stopped and my cycles have gone back to normal now.

Hi! Hope it’s ok for me to join! Ttc cycle 7, I’m currently CD13, had flashing smiley on clear blue tests CD 10, 11 and morning of CD 12, then got a static peak smiley on the evening of CD12, so hopefully ovulating today or tomorrow.
I’m under my NHS fertility clinic due to 3 recurring losses and have had numerous tests, I have sticky blood condition and under active thyroid, my medication for thyroid is a bit of trial and error at the moment, being tested every 8 weeks to see which dose stabilises it so that my levels are under 2 mu/L, they were 3.81 mu/L when checked a couple weeks ago, so my dose has been upped. I’ll be taking a baby aspirin every day from 3DPO, then hopefully if we get a BFP, I will continue the baby aspirin and will be on blood thinning injections and progesterone going forward.

How is everyone else getting on so far this month?

Sending baby dust to all✨

Hi everyone - hoping it’s ok to join! TTC our first child and currently CD21 of cycle 4 of trying (my cycles are normally 31-32 days). Not particularly hopeful this month due to not tracking ovulation closely and not DTD as much, so I imagine I’ll be back for the January thread, though there’s a tiiiiiny part of me hoping for a Christmas surprise!

For my sanity I’ll be trying my hardest not to symptom-spot during the 2ww and will test just before Christmas for the consolation prize of a lovely Bailey’s on the big day if no luck. It’s so hard not to obsess over it isn’t it! Wishing everybody who’s still in this month the very best of luck!

Anya23 · 17/12/2025 08:46

Congrats @TTCjourney2025!! 🤞for a sticky bean!

TTCjourney2025 · 17/12/2025 08:44

Indents are so cruel! Hopefully 2026 is luckier for us all.

I'm CD18 and ovulation tests are still so light (0.09...). Usually I ovulate on CD15/16 like clockwork so I'm so worried I'm just not going to ovulate this month! Google has like usual not been very reassuring. We're going to stay with my parents next week, we'll be sleeping on the floor and sharing a room with my toddler so really need the fertile window to be finished by then!

Anonna123 · 13/12/2025 22:23

@Ttcbabyward ah I'm sorry. I got caught out by an indent too. Hope you and @Anya23 have a lovely Christmas and catch you in Jan!

Ttcbabyward · 13/12/2025 18:56

seems my 10dpo test was in fact an indent. AF arrived today right on time. Here's to a January positive, might see some of you on the Jan thread x

Anya23 · 13/12/2025 12:17

Sorry to hear that @Anonna123!
See you in January then x
I'll be there for sure

Anonna123 · 13/12/2025 12:15

AF arrived in full force yesterday as I was doing a pregnancy test 😂 Good luck to everyone else this month! For anyone else, maybe see you in January x

I’m 10dpo today, have had quite a few symptoms of what could indicate implantation, did test this morning but BFN, will see what happens over next few days but trying not to get my hopes up aghhhh it’s so hard

TheSparklyAzureJoker · 11/12/2025 17:44

Hello! I am back since the indent incident a few months ago - had stark negatives since as well, so, no positives at all in 23 months of trying (TTC#1). Due to start our IVF journey in January as well, so here's to December. 😂4DPO currently.

Good luck to all of us!

Anya23 · 11/12/2025 17:36

@TupATeaWell... It looks kind of pink on the photo as well, so fingers crossed! I wouldn't be able to hold off until Saturday 😂

TupATea · 11/12/2025 17:16

Ok, would love your opinions. Even though I’m still having off/on cramps and have 99% given up hope, I’m still a bit addicted to POAS. I did this test this morning, waited a few minutes, saw nothing and put in the bin. This evening I got home from work, felt an urge to retrieve it from the bin to check and it has a line. Now - I know indents are a thing. But this line, in person, does look pinky rather than grey. Posting a photo unedited and a photo I edited the saturation (in which I think it definitely looks pink). The issue is because I put it in the bin so quickly, I have no idea if this line came up within 10 minutes or not 🤣 I have one more test so am going to wait until Saturday morning and if no AF will test again. Any thoughts?! Xx

So sorry for everyone who hasn’t had the outcome they wanted 💕 it’s so tough. Me trying to TTC has been a long wait for the right person, a divorce and seeing people around me having what I was desperately wanting for myself.

I found my LH peak on CD11, timed DTD as much as possible given two hectic lives. This is our first real cycle after my implant came out, I feel so hopeful and optimistic but realise I shouldn’t get ahead of myself!

My testing day is Christmas Eve with AF due Christmas Day. Really unsure if testing is the best thing and should I leave it unknown? Especially as both days are very child focused, it’s so hard 😭

ErickBroch · 11/12/2025 08:00

11DPO and BFN here. Second cycle of ttc now. Feeling bummed - have been more relaxed this tww and not been symptom spotting, but breasts felt sore and heavy so tested. Nope! Never have these symptoms usually so just cruel 😂

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 10/12/2025 22:15

Hi! Would like to join too if that’s ok. Just got the coil out and hoping to TTC number 3 this month. I had a period back in mid November but have very irregular periods (around 60 day cycles) so I’m hoping I’m coming into my fertile window soon-ish. Really need to buy some testing strips as with two young children finding the time to DTD can be tricky!

overwork · 10/12/2025 20:14

@Anonna123 I have it through work anyway. No side effects for me this year and I have to say I’m relieved seeing how prevalent it is so far this year!

cobalt123 · 10/12/2025 10:39

Hey hey. Joining if that’s ok. 3rd month TTC. Just coming into fertile period this week and AF due at the end of the month.

WonderfulSummer · 10/12/2025 10:21

Ttcbabyward · 09/12/2025 16:53

Not sure what to think, not very hopeful. I definitely see a second line but know frer can be a nightmare for indents.

Ooo have you tested this morning? Fingers are crossed for you!

WonderfulSummer · 10/12/2025 10:20

8dpo and a BFN here - not really sure why I thought it would be anything else!

Anonna123 · 10/12/2025 09:06

spamOFtheDAY · 10/12/2025 07:43

10dpo BFN

That's exciting! Have you tested today?

Ah that was my reply to @Ttcbabyward , not my own test! Sadly for me AF due tomorrow and a complete negative on my test this morning so I reckon I'm out too! I'm not totally mad about it though as people are coming down with flu all around me which would be pretty miserable in pregnancy. I might get the flu jab if AF arrives. Has anyone else had the flu jab just in case?
