@Chikas ah enjoy the trip to visit family! Seems like a lovely autumnal day for it - at least where I am! I haven't really got anything planned so going to just try to keep busy by cleaning the box room which is long overdue!

out of interest ladies - what is your plan when trying to get pregnant? Do you aim to hit every day in the run up to ovulation and the day of ovulation too?

I’m in a bit of a funny position today, I’m off to a spa for a baby shower and I’m wondering about hot tubs and saunas 😬 I can’t get out of going so I think I should probably just try and wriggle my way out of those two activities? I don’t like saunas anyway they make me panic so that’s easy to dodge but the hot tub is going to be slightly tricky to get out of 😂 I’m only 8dpo today and I don’t think a hot tub would be wise 🫣 or do you guys think it will be okay for short periods ? I know people who aren’t tracking or ttc probably do these things and still get pregnant and everything turns out fine but as I am ttc and well aware of where I’m at in regards to the implantation window my anxiety is through the roof about it 😩

any suggestions of excuses to avoid the hot tub? Or do you think I could get away with a short dip to avoid suspicion?

in terms of symptoms today, no sore boobs which I usually have round this time leading up to AF and I have backache which is also common for me. Woke up with indigestion which I’m sure is just progesterone related 🤷🏼‍♀️ my CM had dried right up as it does before AF too, feeling a bit negative today about my chances of bfp this month! Can’t put my finger on why though cause I’m only 8dpo I’m sure there’s still time !

As for me ..no AF... funnily enough noticed ewcm slightly yesterday? But its been x4 weeks since off the pill...appreciate estimated O day 26th October hadots of ewcm then so now I am confused..... cycles usually 28days.
Maybe I am one if those that my cycle is messed up because of the pill and I won't get them back for months... 😩😩😩 maybe - overthinking with this a tad 😅😅
Or maybe I am early pregnant and tests didnt pick up yet??? Maybe - over hopefull with this ahah!

@Orangeroses243 i didn’t get my cycle back until 6 weeks to the day I stopped taking the pill ! AF came exactly 6 weeks after, have you had a proper AF since ? Or just break through bleeds

Hi Ladies, can I join? I’m TTC our second. It took us 2 years to conceive our first over 4 years ago, but then we had sex for the first time in months in March this year and I conceived! Sadly, that ended in a MMC and I had the surgery end of April.

We’ve just started trying again properly this cycle and I’m 8 or 9 DPO. If you’re testing for ovulation do you count O day as the day you get a positive test, or the day after?

I’ve been getting some symptoms but I’m a massive symptom spotter and my rational brain is telling me I’m being very silly and making something out of nothing!

Also, I can’t wait to test 🤣 I love the Easy @ Home tests because they’re 50p each, which means I can test twice a day every day from like 7DPO 🙄😓

Would love to have some other women to share the crazy with. It’s so hard when you’re just spiraling in your own head thinking about every little thing 😔

i try not to symptom spot and try to ignore most things unless it’s something I really can’t ignore or explain away 😂 for the sake of my own sanity I have to try and ignore and minimise things or I get wayyyy ahead of myself 😅

with that being said I was having a meal out with family after a day at the spa and mid eating had the sharpest pain in my uterus!! Only lasted about 2 seconds but was enough to make me gasp 😂 ever since then I’m wondering if that was implantation 🤷🏼‍♀️ I never had any implantation cramping or anything with my previous pregnancies so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to feel like. If it wasn’t implantation I have no clue what it was 😂 can’t quite explain that one.

I’m lucky that I have a friend who allows me to dump my crazy on her 🤣 So I message her every evening telling her why I think I might be pregnant (dizzy, tired, cramps, whatever it is that day 😅) and then I tell her why my rational brain thinks that I’m clearly not (because I’ve got a cold, didn’t sleep much etc so that explains the ‘symptoms’). It’s like this horrendous back and forth in my head that I can’t stop 🫣

I always tell myself it’s such a waste of time and energy caring so much for those few days, I mean, if you are pregnant you’ll find out pretty soon when you miss your period 🤷‍♀️ But, we still all do it 😅

Oh, and I meant I wasn’t sure how to calculate O day. So if I got a static smiley on Thursday, would O day be Thursday or Friday? And then if Friday, would Saturday be 1dpo? If that’s right that would put me at 8dpo today. Hope that makes sense, it sounds so long winded when you try and write it out 😅

@Biscuitbaby2218 basically I missed two pills in error had a break through bleed due to x2 missed. Continuing to take anaginafter this for 6 days. This sparked the conversation between partner and I who agreed its actually time to stop as we would like another baby so age gap isn't too big so after that I stopped. But haven't had a bleed since which i thought I would. God knows!
Thanks for letting me know. Did you ovulate during them 6 weeks? Or do you not know?

@SquigletChocolatePotato im 8dpo today so right in the middle of the implantation window which is usually between 6dpo and 10dpo ! I’m definitely hoping it was implantation and not my body just being a little weird 😅 I also wish I had a friend to dump my crazy on but I’m trying to keep the fact I’m ttc under wraps for the time being.

in terms of O day for you I’d say Friday. Once you get your static I think people tend to ovulate 24-48 hours after the first static smiley. I will preface that with I’ve never used the Cb smiley tests though so I’m definitely not 100% qualified 😂

in general though I’m pretty sure rule of thumb is 24-48 hours after LH surge the egg is released ? If I’m not mistaken 😅

@Orangeroses243 i did ovulate 4 weeks after stopping and then had my first Af 2 weeks after that. I was on the progesterone only pill after being on it for about 3 years ☺️ hope that helps in any way !

will also add after my first period 6 weeks after stopping I’ve since had 2 completely normal cycles so fingers crossed your cycles will still be normal for you after your first one !

Still no Af based on app should be any day but aware may not he accurate for me.

I am pretty sure i have ovulated... my cm has always been a sign when not on contraception.

Alot goes on inside after stopping so who knows. I am just going to sit tight and hope I conceive as soon as possible. I will keep testing- not over the next few days but mod week if no sign of AF and keep updated xx

@Biscuitbaby2218ok, so I’m counting O day as Friday and Saturday as 1dpo, which will make me 9DPO today.

I’ve tested a definite negative on an E@H strip, but I’ve realised there’s 2 types; the early test which is 10miu and the standard which is 25miu. I’m not sure which I’ve got, the listing description said the early ones, and the leaflet in the box says from 10miu, but the box and actual test packets don’t say “early pregnancy test” which I think they’re meant to from looking at the pictures. So, who knows 🤷‍♀️🥴

Thats so exciting that you might have felt implantation! I keep getting stabby pains too, and feeling generally under the weather, but I think I might just have a cold and an IBS flare up 🙄😅 Crazy desperate for a baby brain vs rational trying to stay calm and not obsess brain 🫣😓

Hope you've all managed to stay mostly sane over the weekend! I'm 8dpo today, possibly 9... taken some e@h tests too (I think mine are the same as yours @SquigletChocolatePotato ... wait for 10mins) and negative.

All the symptoms I had since ovulation (backache, crampy, stabbing pains, tingly boobs...) have all stopped now and I'm feeling a lot brighter, less anxious. The only thing I have left is a burning feeling in and off down there! Which I definitely get in the days before AF.

Im kind of assuming that means to expect AF in the next few days (I tend to have a shorter cycle). We will see! Sending you ladies all the best wishes xx

I caved and tested this morning at 10dpo I felt what I think possibly could be implantation in the evening of 8dpo so I’m not quite at the 48 hour mark after ovulation. It’s left me more confused then I was before 😂 I only have left over cheapies in the house (to avoid early testing I don’t buy the better ones until it’s time) could see something where the 2nd line should be (thought it was just dodgy morning eyesight ) and I mean so barely there I was counting it as a negative. Then I sent 3 pictures to chat gpt just to confirm my negative who then came back and said every single picture I sent (sent 3). there were 2 lines ! That’s surprising as it has always said negative in past cycles and kindly hinted I’m crazy and need to chill But I’m so baffled now.

now I’m thinking Chat GPT is the crazy one 👀

will attach a photo below, when filtering the test you can definitely see it but I’m always of the opinion that if I need a filter to see it I can’t count it 😂

Morning ! @Chikas i used chat GPT and I’m definitely not counting my chickens on it’s assessment 😂 I was the same this morning I can’t tell if there’s something there or not but chat said positive 3 times on 3 different pictures 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve ordered some first responses but I’m not going to use them till 12 & 14 dpo scouts honour 🫡😂

Morning ☺️ @Biscuitbaby2218 I have the same thought about if it was obvious you wouldn’t need to invert it…but that’s just one side of my brain, the other side would be holding that test and analysing it in every way possible to check 😅 When is AF due?

I took a FRER today at 10dpo and definitely negative so I think that’s me out. Their leaflet says they detect 96% of pregnancies by this point. I guess all my symptoms are just me having a bug 😔 I’ll just wait for AF now, will test again if she doesn’t appear but I think it’s done for me this cycle.

@SquigletChocolatePotato morning ! Yes in my opinion I’d class my test as negative, chat GPT just made me doubt my eyes so thought I’d see if anyone can see what AI is seeing 😂 I’m due AF on the 15th !

sorry to hear about your negative although there’s been plenty women that have had stark negatives at 10dpo and then gone on to get a BFP ! You never know lovely with my first I got a squinter of a faint line at 13dpo ! I’m crossing everything that AF stays away and you get a BFP instead !!
