I thought I’d start a thread for those TTC baby number 3 (and beyond, feel free to join!) It would be nice to share experiences. I feel like where I’m from 3 is the new 2 😅 but I’ve always felt like I wanted a bigger family anyway (I am 1 of 4!) For background, DD1 has just turned 6 and DD2 has just turned 4. I’m on cycle #2, AF due in a couple of days but I’m testing BFN so roll on cycle #3. I was really hoping to catch before November so baby would only be 4 school years behind DD2 🙈 but what will be will be! DD1 took 15 cycles DD2 took 1 cycle Anyone else??? X

@underthethree ahh that’s so sweet thank you! I know what you mean I’ve been a bit like that this month! I felt like I was out before I even ovulated…just something in me where I am like…who am I kidding to think it’s going to be me this month. Definitely a moody month!

@MamaO88 hope your booking app was good! Counting down the days to early scan 🤩

4dpo today…crazy to think that some people will implant in 2 days and then get a BFP 2 days after that 🤣 even so…no testing for me this month. I feel so over it. AF due Sunday 23rd!

@olivehushi remember you from last cycle. I was convinced for you as well!! I was proper shocked when you got bfn’s. But best of luck this cycle ❤️ I’ll ovulate tomorrow at CD13, also feel like I’m just going through the motions, not particularly happy/joyful this month. Definitely a low mood month ❤️😕

@MamaO88how did the booking go?

looking at my bbt chart I would say O was CD16 so today is 2dpo. I did want to get one last go in yesterday incase O was yesterday but it didn’t happen and tbh I don’t think it would have made any difference now looking at my chart. Only 10 more days to wait 🫠

Ahh so excited for you @MamaO88 it starts to feel so real at the booking appointment 🥹 although I remember taking a bowl to my last one because my sickness was so bad 🤣 hope it doesn’t last too long for you!

@mummatara woohoo, happy TWW for us! Think I’m 2dpo 🫠

@PoppyN919 I think I’m nearly 7 weeks, but had my coil out in September and fell straight away so unsure of cycle length and don’t have a “last period” to go by for all of the calculators.

The midwife phoned on Friday and when I said I thought I was 6-7 weeks she said “oh we better get you booked in sharp then”

So yeah @mummatara it is an exciting week, booking tomorrow and early scan on Sunday 😍

Into the dreaded 2ww for you then @mummatara?

I have my booking in appointment at 2pm tomorrow, so that’ll make things feel a bit more real. I actually had to call in sick today as I have been totally floored by nausea and sickness, literally feeling constantly sick whenever I’m upright 😣

Poor you re sickness! Although exciting booking appointment is so soon. Feel like I’m 100 years away from booking appt atm, and finding it ominous I’m already feeling sick at 4 weeks 😂😬

We kept seeing little signs…there was just no way I couldn’t be. Lo and behold, a few stark white BFNs later and AF showed up right on time 🤣 so this month I’m feeling a bit stroppy about it all. Like I don’t even care (even though I do) but I just can’t really be arsed either. Don’t know if that makes sense. Just rambling 😂 don’t think I’ll even bother testing until AF is due as have no tests in the house anyway. Got a busy month too luckily!

Aww totally get that! And honestly this has been me so many times. I hope this month is better, and as you say good in some ways it’s so busy. It’s hard for it not all to become entirely preoccupying isnt it! ❤️

@olivehushI think I might O sooner than I thought CD15 today and I just did my evening opk it’s started to rise already that usually means I’ll get my peak tonight/ tomorrow. I was going to give hubby tonight off but not anymore 🙈 not sure I’ve ever ovulated this early 🤷🏼‍♀️ good luck in the TWW 🤞🏼

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 so sorry to hear it’s been a tricky journey so far. Keeping everything crossed. I have some friends who have been through similar recently including the failed IVF and aware how much of a toll that takes emotionally and physically ❤️

@mummatara thank you! I was having a google and apparently it’s very normal to catch from DTD 2-3-4 days before O. And then I was like well of course it is duh that’s the fertile window 🤣 Sometimes I get so caught up pinpointing the exact day of O I forget that you don’t reeeaaaally need to do that.

so sorry to hear of the failed IVF @Coffeechocolatebooks123 sending you lots of baby dust ✨ 🤞🏼 here if you need to vent!

so, not entirely sure where we are as I had hardly any obvious O signs but I’m guessing I’m 1dpo today. Let the TWW commence 🫠

Unfortunately not, I just can't justify spending another £8000 when it might fail when I could spend that on a holiday with my children.
Everything seems ok on all the scans, blood work etc. 😞

I am trying for baby number 3! We have a 5 year old and 6 year old and have been trying for 2 years. We recently had a failed IVF. We were able to concieve so quickly with the first two so didn't expect it to take this long.

Think I may be joining you for November anyway…I’m [possibly maybe probably] O’ing today and we’ve had such a busy few days, we DTD on Thursday but now won’t be able to until tomorrow as OH called to work last min for 2 nights. I know I’m still in with a chance but I’m already feeling deflated that it’s not enough/close enough to O.

need to just take a breath and what will be will be!

Had a good cry this morning when it appeared, not like me at all! Think it solidified how much my heart really wants another. Only started OPKs last cycle to understand when my ovulation is, and we've not really been trying (only managed to dtd once in fertile window) so i didn't have my expectations high, was more seeing this cycle as a getting prepared/more informed etc - so it really surprised me how upset AF arriving made me. My husband is so kind and always understanding. Will try and give it a proper go this cycle

Aww hun that’s totally understandable, and similar to me last month tbh! I’d had my coil removed and was kind of in the “we’ll see how it goes” kind of mindset, and was taken aback how upset I was when AF arrived too. Hope you have nice plans today, and are getting lots of lovely cuddles! All the good vibes your way for Nov 🙏🏻🥰
