@Ec2808 ah my bad I forgot 🙈 I don’t remember having sore boobs last time, yeah it’s getting harder to get out of bed everyday 😂

Ec2808 · 29/11/2025 08:30

@Ec2808 welcome to boy mum club 💙 I’m doing ok. Boobs are ridiculously sore, mega tired and feeling so queasy but no actual sickness yet

Ec2808 · 29/11/2025 06:47

@HansBanansoh yes I did! Healthy little baby boy 💙🥰 over the moon! How are you getting on?

HansBanans · 28/11/2025 19:49

@Ec2808 did you get your nipt results back? 🤞🏻

@MamaGeordie how did you get on with the boots tests x

MamaGeordie · 26/11/2025 10:07

Clearblue are so cruel. The line does look more blue in person but is thin so most likely just an evap. I'll try and pick some Boots tests up for tomorrow morning.
Thanks ladies.

Ec2808 · 26/11/2025 07:19

@MamaGeordie I'm really sorry but that looks like an evap, a positive on those tests has a thicker line 🙁

OP posts:
HansBanans · 26/11/2025 06:24

@MamaGeordie it’s really hard to tell. It looks like there might be a thicker line there but Clearblue always do that stupid thing with the darker thin blue line appearing at the side of the actual line. You won’t find any frer in the shops in the U.K., for whatever reason they’ve been pulled but you can find them on Amazon. The boots ultra early tests are really good if you can get your hands on one of those?

MamaGeordie · 26/11/2025 06:12

I'm genuinely not sure what DPO I am at this point as I stopped with ovulation testing to give my brain a rest. IC tests say negative but I got this today. Do you think this is an evap line...I don't know whether to believe it or not. I'm CD 27. My cycles are always on the shorter side, 23-24 days so I'm definitely late. I couldn't see any FRER in my local Boots/Superdrug so stuck with these.

Got my second results back at 16678 which gives a doubling time of about 56 hours so nicely in the 48-72 hour window. Think I can breathe a little bit now hopefully 🤞🏻 got occasional moments of feeling queasy but not had any proper morning sickness yet. I think I’m 6 weeks tomorrow but blood results suggest I was already at least 6 weeks when I had them taken on Saturday. Just need to see what the 12 week scan says!

Ec2808 · 19/11/2025 13:39

Omg that’s amazing congratulations 😍😍🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻@HansBanans

Test results are in already, 5253.0 iu/L! ChatGPT says doubling time slows down after 5,000 so need to try not freak out when I get the weekend results back next week 😅

Ec2808 · 18/11/2025 20:22

@HansBanansshould be 14 weeks will see tomorrow for confirmation 🤞🏻 will say tho once it kicked in it was the worst nausea ever so enjoy it while you can 🤣🤣

OP posts:
HansBanans · 18/11/2025 20:01

@Ec2808 yeah was talking to one of my friends and her nausea didn’t kick in until much later with her second pregnancy as well. Hope all goes well! How far along are you now? x

HansBanans · 18/11/2025 20:00

@Anya23 just for a tiny bit of reassurance more than anything I think. I’ve had a look back at Ovia from my last pregnancy and I didn’t mark morning sickness/nausea until I was 5+4 but can’t remember if I’d actually been sick or just felt sick x

Ec2808 · 18/11/2025 20:00

@HansBananskeeping everything crossed for you i’m sure all is fine 🫶🏻 my symptoms kicked in very late also this time round so every pregnancy is different…keep us updated on your result…i’m going for my 3d scan tomorrow hope all is good has been ages since my last appointment…

Went for a beta hcg today and will get the results back later this week. They didn’t have any other appointments until the weekend so booked in for the second draw then, and will get results from that draw early next week. I’m not massively hopeful as not really having any symptoms, although I’m only 5 weeks tomorrow I think. I just remember having so many more clear symptoms with my son, but can’t remember when they kicked in! Still getting strong positive tests but I’ve run out now and won’t be restocking. Will update once I know more!

For me the strong nausea kicked in around week 6 with both pregnancies. Had the bloating and fatigue before that, but no pregnancies are the same! Any reason for the hcg test?
