@Taysonic @EmPeEf @ttcnumerodos

Ive not spoken to doctor, I think I need to now don’t I? No sign of my period at all! Doesn’t help when your TTC and want to move on to try again.

I just asked chatgpt (as I do for everything) and it says check in with doc if no period after 6 weeks, so maybe just to get peace of mind? Hope you get on ok xx

@Taysonicjust realised we were on the Feb25 thread together, I've changed my name since then but think we had losses around the same time 💔 sorry you're still here too 😔

Ah, it's always bittersweet isn't it to reconnect knowing we've been on quite the journey. I wish for us both that we weren't back here but... hopefully, we'll be able to finish our stories in the best way possible soon.

Just popping on to check in…. I’m still in limbo since my chemical miscarriage on 1st September. Still no AF since and I'm on CD43. My cycles are usually 24-28 days. Feel really frustrated as I’ve not reset since and I feel I’m on hold from TTC and wasting precious time!

Oh @Iris2024sorry to hear that - hope you get that reset soon! Any advice from docs or anything?

Taysonic · 14/10/2025 09:38

Totally understandable @Taysonic. And I so get the not preventing/trying to be casual. When you've been TTC for a while I feel that's a very hard thing to do.

I'm now 1dpo and in the dreaded tww once again. Waiting on blood results from the fertility clinic and hopefully get something concrete and 'treatable'. Just turned 41 and said we'd give it until the end of this year. I don't feel ready to give up at all but it's so all consuming at times x

Ah man, I know that feeling! I had fertility bloods done about a month ago now, and I was hoping there would be an 'easy fix' that would pop up, we can treat it and then crack on again with a bit more hope but... I suppose it's good that my results came back clear! It did pick up some thyroid anti-bodies, which the nurse said wasn't a problem in of itself but may indicate a higher chance of future auto-immune issues and that they may want to monitor it during pregnancy but, everything else came back fine and my thyroid function itself was okay.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that either way, the blood test results give you some reassurance!

Nice to see you @Iris2024 - sorry you're a bit in limbo land at the minute. It must be so frustrating. Our bodies get put through such a lot, don't they? Hoping that you get some final closure soon and some reassurance that cycles have returned back to normal. Thinking of you.

Annoyingly, if you do experience any very-early pregnancy symptoms, they are often very similar if not the same as what can be PMS symptoms... and the variances between women is so huge that there's no real sure-fire way of knowing. Some women will say they knew something was different or not 'normal' for them, but... I read enough here to know that it's easy to say that when it turns out to be true, but for every one woman saying they knew they were pregnant because of x,y,z symptom, there are five others saying they've got a hope they're pregnant because of the same thing that turns out not to be pregnancy.

This two week window is REALLY tough. You'll be hyper aware of everything and reading into every twinge, tweak and feeling.

@Taysonic absolutely agree with all of this, thanks x

Is there a possibility of your doctor prescribing you some progesterone to initiate bleeding perhaps? It sounds really rubbish, I’m sorry.

Nice to hear from you @Taysonic How are you finding things on the methotrexate? It can be an awful old drug.

TTC 1st time!
I'm currently 8DPO, but hardly any symptoms at all. (compared with other cycles where I have not conceived.
No tender breasts or nipples (REALLY unusual for me!)
Not much cervical mucus
No spotting/cramps

I've just had some constipation and fatigue but I'm pretty sure that could also be PMS.

BBT is still raised compared to pre-ovulation

Has anyone hardly had any symptoms and been pregnant?

Hi all! Popping along to say hello - have been reading somewhat religiously but not posting as there really isn't much to say from my end. As a reminder, I had an ectopic pregnancy in July and was treated with methotrexate which has meant I'm unable to begin TTC again until after October. I'm heading towards my next period (due next week) and after that, it's go time again.

Have been having a bit of a wobble and going back and forth about whether I feel ready to start trying again. After two losses in the space of four months, it feels so difficult to open ourselves up to the risk of another loss and we definitely feel we need to protect ourselves, but I also don't think time is on my side. I'm turning 37 next month and it feels somehow a lot older than 36.

I'm telling myself that we probably won't actively prevent pregnancy in the next few months, and if it happens, it happens... but... I'm not sure given how much I think about TTC and how much I read these forums, that I'm really able to do a 'light touch' approach. We'll see...

Girls, I thought I saw the faintest of lines but the test checker is changing its minds, so coming here before I lose my marbles. Can anyone see anything? Looking at it again I can’t really

ThisZippyViewer · 09/10/2025 18:19

@Mash0917 Hi ☺️ there’s no medical reason to wait and no evidence to show any increased risk to you or baby

only thing to be aware of if you get pregnant before an actual “period” is they will have difficulty dating the pregnancy at the start so as long as you are mentally able to deal with that then crack on

EmPeEf · 09/10/2025 15:58

Mash0917 · 09/10/2025 07:06

Hey beautiful ladies, so my bleeding from the miscarriage is finally gone and the blood rest shows negative hcg. I am probably being cheeky, but I don't want to wait. If I actually ovulate this cycle in about a week, ( I track with clearblue digital opk), I want to try. Anyone know if it'll be okay?

I don’t think you need to worry about waiting. Go for it!
