Happy Friday!

I’m currently 1dpo, trying for #2.
Just wondered if anyone else was around the same time and wanted to keep each other company 😊

How you doing at 9dpo @Peanutbutthole?
I ended up at the hospital last night with bleeding and cramping. Have been given progesterone pessaries to see if that helps our little dot stick aroundšŸ¤ž

oh wonderful news! I was thinking of you but didn't want to pester you!. I am pleased it's progressing as expected, are you still getting any pains/twinges? That's really good that they've scheduled a follow up as well. Is the back ache normal for pregnancy?

Yeahh 7DPO for me, right now I am thinking I may just hold off testing until 14DPO but I am sure I will probably cave and test at 10 or 11DPO lol.. The only difference I feel this cycle is sleep disruption, I woke at 1.30am and didn't get back to sleep until gone 4am, this is the third day in a row now ā˜¹ļø

Did you get any implantation bleeding at all?

It’s one of the things that can be normal but I had backache and cramps in the days before our mc so any kind of twinge worries me. I’ve had weird little crampy feelings the whole time though. I had one streak of light pink on around 12 dpo that I assume was implantation but that was it. My sleep is all over the place, waking up at 4/5am so who knows could be something šŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

@thismonthsfad Had the scan this morning and although everything is still measuring very small it's kind of as they would expect and there has been a little bit of progression so need to give it 10 days or so and they're gonna recheck and hopefully by that point they'll be an actual baby fingers crossed!
Still feeling really anxious even though I know everything looks okay because I’ve had constant backache all day šŸ™

How are you getting on at 7dpo? Xx

As pleased as I’ll be when I don’t have to go to the hospital multiple times a week, it’s been really reassuring having the extra checks.
Definitely don’t write it off yet! I’m pretty sure we conceived our last pregnancy on Ov day 😁 my first clear positive was 10dpo I think, had a shadow the night before but thought my eyes were tricking me lol

oh yes, completely agree. Keep me posted with how you get on 😊
Yeah I guess I am still in until I am out lol.. I am still taking my temps, just need it to stay high. This is my 3rd cycle now and by far my most relaxed cyctle where I am not looking at every single niggle.. Having a break last cycle really helped me to understand what my PMS symptoms are.
That's interesting that you conceived on O day - I just had it in my mind that I am too late. 10DPO for me is on Saturday so I may test then.

That's a very good sign that little dot is growing. That's also really good that you're having another scan and that they've scheduled a follow up appointment!! Haha yeahh you'll be on a first name basis lol.. So good that they're looking after you - you're in good hands :)
I am now 5DPO - although I am kind of already writing this cycle off because we DTD on the actual day of ovulation, I just have it in my head that it was too late lol. I am going to take a test on Sunday when I am 11DPO.. I have bought about 100 strip tests from Amazon so I may as well use them!!
What day DPO did you get your first positive line?x

Morning @thismonthsfad,
Things were okay, our little dot has grown but the lady just couldn’t quite see the yolk yet. She said she felt like it was really close though. We talked about dates as my AF dates put me further along, but because I ov’d late it makes sense why they’re still not seeing what they’d like. I’ve got another scan on Wednesday, so hopefully little dots done it’s thing by then šŸ¤ž
I’m gonna be on first named terms on the unit at this rate lol.
How are you getting on, guessing your 5 or 6 dpo now? Xx

Hi @CrazyKJ how did you scan go today?xx

Got my scan today, it’s difficult to see much because it’s so early but there’s a tiny dot that seems to be in the right place. They’ve booked in for another check on Sunday as they can’t say for sure if it’s viable until they can see a little more. So crossing our fingers for some good growing to happen between now and then! Xx

Yeah my gp have actually been really good about it, they saw me this morning. The dr wasn’t 100% sure what the best thing to do was either so called the hospital while I was there. I’m waiting for a call back from the hospital early pregnancy unit, as they wanted to speak to me later in the day to decide what to do. Where I live we register the pregnancy online and it goes straight to the local midwives who organise everything directly.
I felt it was normal when the cramps were intermittent but since they’re constant now I’m concerned what it could be leading to.
I’m glad they seem to be taking it seriously, just got to wait and see what they suggest.
thank you Xx

oh no you poor thing! Did you contact your GP? Could this be a normal part of early pregnancy with your body changing? I guess all you can do is eat nutritious foods, get rest and try keep calm - sorry I know that's rubbish advice! I am sure everything is absolutely fine but it's completely understandable that you're on edge about things.

Have you registered your pregnancy with the GP yet - this is my first time TTC so it's all new to me and I am not entirely sure how it works. I hope you're ok and can get some support and advice x

Morning, ah that’s good šŸ¤ž for you!!
I’ve been cramping all night, its not horrifically painful but hasn’t let up since 1am so I’m a bundle of anxiety today 😭 I’ve done an online request for the drs to see what they think. Just don’t know if anyone will be able to see/do anything because it’s so early on still X

It’s nearly there, usually the line would be as dark as or darker than the control line for peak 😊

My temps have increased this morning so it looks like yesterday was Ovulation day for me which ChatGPT said I have timed perfectly lol.. I am officially 1DPO.

How are you feeling today?

Yes he definitely needs to get on the vitamin C!!
I think the cramping etc can be normal, I’ve not had any bleeding so I’m probably just being worrisome. We’ll definitely have the nhs 12 week scan when I get that far. Debating whether we want to have an earlier private one for reassurance, just don’t want to be lulled into a false sense of security if that makes sense? šŸ™ˆ Xx

I am in for the cycle lol - even though my hubs is unwell, he really didn't want to skip another cycle so we DTD.. I should be ovulating today / tomorrow, I am expecting my temps to rise by Thursday at the latest so hopefully I have caught it just in time. So I am in the game for this cycle haha! AF is due on 13th Nov.. Wish me luck šŸ¤—

Ahh that's totally understandable that you feel that way, especially after your miscarriage - I think the 12 week scan is perfect timing, it gives little one time to nest and grow. For now, put your feet up and reassure lil one that you've got them covered. I know it's easier said than done but try not worry too much, your body is perfectly growing your little one and they are safe tucked away in there x

CrazyKJ · 28/10/2025 13:49

thismonthsfad · 28/10/2025 12:37

Thank you!! Honestly I feel so bad for him - first he had the flu for weeks, now tonsilitis.. Told him to start taking some Vit C lol!

Is that normal to have twinges and cramping? Will you be having a scan at 12 weeks? I completely understand feeling anxious - just tell baby to nestle in, you got them covered šŸ˜

Hi, I hope it’s okay to jump on, I’m highly convinced that I ovulated on cd16 as I had a lot of ewcm for 2-3 days leading up to this large amount and ovulation pain, After I got this I had nothing else up until yesterday cd21 where I had some more but not a large amount and it was clear no blood or anything.

is there a chance I didn’t actually ovulate on cd16 as I’m now really confused

Depending on the length of your cycle it could be possible. Only way to know really would be to temp or use ovulation strips to confirm when it’s close/has happened though
