Very nervous to TTC after a miscarriage but am going for it

For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

hey bella, well i'm so very 'just' post-op, but i will be expecting my first period end of feb-ish, and then will hopefully be trying again. think i will invest in some opk so can be sure of 'hot spots' to ttc in. will indeed be very weird to try again but hey, think christmas babies everyone right?
so i'm not quite ready myself but willing to chant along with you, you ol' hippy you.

My second baby was stillborn at 21 weeks and within three months I was pregnant with dd, now 18 months. Lots of positive babydust to you all, there are so many Mumsnetters on here who have been through TTC after a loss, we will all be willing you on.

btw, bella was one of my girl baby-names (but needless to say had been vetoed)
romilly (my nom de plume)was another one - (also vetoed!)

Just to add Romilly - have no kids as yet, this was my first attempt. I'm 32 so no spring chicken myself. Feeling more my age this week, over the last couple of weeks i felt nearer 62!

Romiily - you sounds very smiliar to me. I had missed m/c at 10 weeks and had ERPC last week.
I have bought a load of OV tests and am ready to rock and roll!

I had a terrible time ttc after 2 micarriages but I finally got lucky and now have beautiul 7 wk old daughter.

me too Bella - as in v. nervous (m/c'd at 9 weeks, first pregnancy) but like you, ready to try again. haven't had first AF since ERPC yet but started taking temps and got the persona. didnt use anything first time around but feel it took so bloody long that havent got time to be chilled about it anymore. (i'm 38 - yiiiiikes). one of the duffer brigade. do you have children already?

lashings of babydust to you and minnie too (and a big lorryload to myself while i'm at it!)

Hi Bella, I don't know your history (beyond what you have said in your message) but I just wanted to say good luck! I miscarried twice last year - very early on - but now have a 9 month dd. Hope all goes well for you.

Thanks Minnie am feeling ok. Time seems to be dragging and next week seems very far off at the moment but just trying to keep busy. Funny how on the one hand i am desperate agian to try but on the other I am loath to get back on the "hamster wheel" of TTC - oh well got to be done so not point whinging!!

So you big day is getting near.. really hope you won't be hear long that you move to anti ASAP.. Are you using any help? OPKs,persona etc... I will be starting the persona soon as AF is on her way.. Can feel her coming!!!! CD30
