Very nervous to TTC after a miscarriage but am going for it

For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

Hello ladies, leak fixed by two british gas engineers, and dds celebrations went well, she was chuffed with all her presents!

Like the sound of your new kitchen mishi.

my cramps gone too but still no sign of flippin AF and opks def said I was not oving! DH thinks I should test later this week just in case, not sure I should as am trying to not be so trigger happy with tests until I have some sure signs. ALso part of me is terrified of being pregnant even though I so desperately want to be! Do u know what I mean? ok will stop ranting now.

hi all
not on long as i have just cleaned all carpets so need to jump in shower..dh is currently fitting new kitchens cupboards and doors...yayyy..i hate our old kitchen it was here when we moved in so now its all lovely and ivory..well about half of it is..lol

Pains have gone today so am wondeing if it was ov cos looking on conception store if my body decides on a 35 day cycle rather than 28 it would be this week...typically not bd past 2 days cos of the pains...arghh im rubbish at this whole ttc lark...am i next one due to test? i think it will be 5th for af but if its 35 day then obviously will be week later..argghhh
hope u are all good and am waiting my packages of freshly backed goodies

bella glad u got your persona - u will love it. lucky neighbours getting cakes from you. i used to have a dear old biddy living next door who made cakes for my d/h and whispered to him "rom doesnt bake does she??" she'd got me sussed! sadly she moved - sadly for dh!
yingers - hope you got your leak fixed, total bummer. hate those kind of hassles.
dqueen - ooooh, bding week for you - know what you mean about getting nervous, ridiculous but i know i'm going to be in a few weeks seeing as i managed to make such a cock up of it last time (no pun intended !)
mishi - i feel for you, you are coming up to testing time soon. fingers crossed for you and babydust by the barrel load.
hereshoping - hope the wine and dvd cheered you up hun.
george - still baking huh?

as for me, CD3 and horrible AF - is it just me or does anyone else seem to have much heavier AF now?

Morning all.
Well have a bit of a hangover, really bad seeing as right time for ov so feel a bit disapoointed in myself, but hey ho, done now!
Yingers, sorry about leak, bummer!
Have decided that its time to do something nice today so am going to bake some little cakes and take them round to our elderly neighbours who we've never met. My granny died last year at the grand age of 95 and remained in her own home due to the fact her neighbours were so nice and regularly checked on her etc so have decided that it is scandelous that we've never seen our elderly neighbours. Fingers crossed that they are a nice old couple and not from a scary horror film!!!
DQ - paint called baking day, how apt! mmmm...how can a day be a colour? Interesting, what colour is it?

mishi - understand the cramps, have been having them myself, hope it means something good but also am expecting to see af soon.

today has been one of those days, was suppose to go to my bro's b-day tonight but have stinking cold and cough so am indoors instead and then, water started leaking from our living room ceiling, a pipe seems to be leaking!!!!!! And british gas who we are covered by can only come tomorrow between 8 and 6pm which is a serious bummer as am suppose to be at my mum's celebrating dds actual birthday with family - ho hum such is life. I am hoping this run of bad luck can only mean a run of good luck is round the corner!

missed you ladies so much today. my dad down here today and doing some diy for me so couldnt really say 'lovely to see you but i'm just going to chat ot my onine friends now...........' so had to wait til he'd gone and the bathtime routine was over too. so here i am!!!!
baked maple and pecan cupcakes today..keep up with the flapjacks george! funny as af goes and 'the' bd-ing week approaches i feel NERVOUS! ffs! i hope i can relax and concentrate on ..er the bding...and not the results! dh hates it when i'm not paying attention!!! LOL
bella, have fab evening, desperately jealous here. your new paint sounds lovely, i have apaint called 'baking day' on my sitting room walls !!!apt for me huh?!!
heres- sorry about the anniversary, arent they always remembered at the last bloody minute. hope youre okay.
mishi hope YOURE okay too, sounds painful. i got horrendous cramps early this month, bloody bloody ERPC. I really REALLY hope yours is implanting...

Hershopping - bless girl its so hard isn't it! Hope you manage to make the dvd.
I think we can all relate to the "eveyone around us seems to be announcing they are pregnant" syndrome - FFS - even Jordan is bloody pregnant and plastered all over the newspapers!!!
Well more painting from me today. DQ - colour scheme is natural calaco (rich cream) on 3 walls with soft stone on one where the fire place is, its an accent colour don't you know!!! Hark at me, you can tell i have been watching those make-over shows can't you!
George jealous of flapjack.
We are out tonight to dinner at friends and I have just spent the last hour getting ready, i think when you feel a little down it is time to slap on the war paint!!
OOH a bit of excitement as got Persona delivered this morning, very exciting - absolutely love gadgets!!

well ive been getting horrible cramps today like af but she isnt due for at least another week..am flititng between sheer excitment and depression..lol Keep thinking it oculd be implanting or something then in next thought im worrying something is wrong or that af is going to show up early...arghhhhhhh just want next week here so can test although between fertility friend and conception stor ei am confused as one is telling me im ov now and one is saying last week...why are things never simple..lol

Rom & Hereshoping - so sorry you had crappy nights last night. Hope tonight is better for you both. Sounds like its Bridget Jones needed all round at the moment (although I have no chance with DP and 2 lads in the house!!)

Bella, thanks for the OPKs, I'll cat you over my address. Might give my body a hint that it needs to ov occasionally!! Had a look at the calendar DQ, gives me a best guess of 12th March so the countdown begins tick tock, tick tock....

More Flapjack today - help, I can't stop making it now!! Got a friend over tonight so hoping everyone will help me to eat it.

hereshoping - poor you. totally understandable though. sounds a bit like how i've been feeling all week to be honest! and if its any consolation my friday night was the icing on the cake (of a god awful week) too. we went out to meet some friends and lo and behold - another sodding announcement, yup she was pg. that is TWICE in about a month since my mc that has happened to me now.

dvd (and more wine) sounds a good idea!

Hope all had a better Frid eve than me - it was a bit wierd - partaking of my usual frid night wine, enjoying ds1's birthday despite friends of his sleeping over when suddenly remembered that in July Id told him he wouldnt be able to have a party as i was haviing a baby then - missed mc no 1 in Aug.
God how my mood crashed - I was inconsolable - and pissed which didnt help
be warned guys - be aware of those anniversary dates - it took me badly by surprise
feeling more cheerful today, party now over and have sent dh for bridget jones dvd as cheering up treat for me

evening all
not been on as was trying to catch up on some sleep as ds was awake most of night due to teething..bless him he has a raging temp..cant wait for the teething to be over..lol

I have been getting pains today like af which is annoying me cos i had normal ov pains last week but am now getting worried that the ob is gonna show early..i am working on 30 day cycle so that means i should test around 5th..6th being mothers day i will prob wait..lol

dq have u got the addy for conception store? have been using fertility friend but according to them i have been fertile the past week so who knows whats going on..told u my body plays tricks on me..lol

oh i wish we could all meet up for a drink tonight! that would be lovely!!! i'm def on the red wine tonight, dh is DRIVING ME MAD (hes being lazy while i do all the dashing about invovled in tea/dd bath time/big kids in showers/more tea for us adults/washing etc ETC!!!) and as i want him happy to see me next week i neeeed to bite my tongue!!! oh he needs telling tho. lazy git! shall be nice tho. eeek its going to kill me!!!LOL
I have new batch of opks ready for next week..... the ebay sellers must have experience a huge boost in sales since we all went there!!!
bella what colour you painting the lounge then? apparently it says alot about you you know.... i should imagine right now, with smudgy bits and missed bits it says you drank too much wine last night!!!!!!

George the conceptionstore calendar is not an 'ongoing' thing like ff. its a fill in and read kinda thing (love those!instant results!) you fill in your last af date, approx length of cycle, and click a button and it tells you (month by month) what days you should be fertile, what day to test, what day your due....i got pg with mollie on month 2 of these, and nothing else, no opks no monitor, no ferning thingy, so i think its fab! however i have a fairly reg cycle so I dont know how it would cope if you didnt....
poss after all the fuss/tests/kits, ladies, the best thing to do is bd every other day, all month. blimey, it might make our dhs faint tho!

Got outbid on some opks on ebay so think this is a sign to use something else! I mean I used about 14 of them and did not get a single surge! B-d anyway just in case though!!!! Will perhaps try to get one of those saliva things on ebay, LOL, i have become such an ebay freak since you guys introduced me, I have already brought 2 dvds not to mentions the pregnancy tests! Somebody stop me!

Mmmmm, just sat down to have a cup of tea and to eat lovely yummy flapjack. It's so nice I'm going to make more over the weekend! We have DPs 2 boys coming over so I'm sure they won't turn it down!! (That's if they can prise it out of my sticky fingers...)
Thanks for your offer Bella, thats really kind of you. Once you are up & running with your persona (grrr!!) I'll be happy to take any spare OPKs off your hands. Think you might need to keep using them to start with, & double test, just to be sure it's working properly - you really don't want to be missing out on "O" time.
I'm using fertility friend (no bloody friend so far!!) but I'll have a look at the conception store one in case a miricle happens & it tells me I'm fertile even though I have non of the signs!

DQ - Glad Af is on her way out. Onwards and upwards from here on in!
Rom - you go girl and have a few glasses of wine. Really know I shouldn't but will be partaking myself this evening....well it is Friday isn't it!

I think we are all in for the long haul in this baby making process, we've just got to hang in there even when the going gets tough! We will get there but we are more like the tortoise than the hair in this race! Annoying as being a taurus I prefer to do everything at top speed...ARH!!

Off home soon to assess the painting I need to finish off. Only managed one wall last night so need to make a start on the others - tomorrow I think though when alcohol won't be involved!

i'm here, been 'spring cleaning' and moving furniture about...we must all be going thro some kinda 'fresh start' thing right now! alot of moving stuff/painting walls going on here!
george i dont do persona either so youre not left out. i simply do not get enough regular sleep or have regular waking times temping either.... i have got to say ewcm is a fabulous sign tho isnt it? and even if you dont use opks -which i find frustrating but def do-able,- have you entered your info in the conception store calendar? its great as a guide line as to when to bd!
that said, good luck with your presona bella, hope it works out for yoU mine would have to be new too....weird huh? silly of us i guess but!
my af is fading -yeeha! next weeks MY week then! busy creating babies!
romilly -sorry about af, hope you werent desperately upset? its good to be on a fresh cycle tho isnt it? a new start, a december/newyear baby for us all fingers crossed. i hope we can support each other thro the cycles we may have yet to come!

thks bella - i totally agree with you forking out for new persona, i mean i know its an extra £45 to buying second hand but it seemed to me like quite a personal thing to get second hand IYKWIM!!
