For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

hey ladies,,,,
hereshoping welcome welcome to the obsessive wonderful world of ttc thread! may all you opks and hpt be + !!!
okay so EVERYONE is along way from me, no chance of a meet up then...unless you all fancy a day by the seaside?
Romilly - i doubt mysister is interested now, think it was only when i was going abit 'stranger' after m/c that the entire family were muttering about me and being concerned. think if you keep reading its abit like reading someones diary..addictive but naughty!!! and shes never naughty (that was my job growing up!)and i may have bored her to death on the subject of ttc / m/c anyhow!!!
I dont really have funpacked weekends guys.I'ma stay at home mum and trust me, mondays are much more fun when you get the house back to yourself and everyone buggers off to work and school! just me and littlest DD, lovely so i'm a happy on mondays person rather than oh great joy its saturday person!!
good day today, feel GOOd (rather than cranky) and following group orders by.er...'actively' ttc LOL so happy bunny mostly.
Bella, not sure about those twinges/pains youve been getting? early af signs? implanting? everythign settling still? who knows? i have been getting twinges just to the right, so wonder if O is happening or around.? or af threatening early?? i'm so confused about it with neg opks but ewcm and twinges....if i didnt have opks i'd say i was, but they say i'm not!!!! whats the window to catch a positive opk? if it read neg one morning can it really read + at night but neg by the next morning???
one mixed up ttcer here..wish body came with instruction book....
bella -hope pg lady was okay. and lunch went smoothly
I spent afternoon at outlet mall, shopping which was nice. hope everyone is doing okay.

hereshoping · 06/02/2005 18:02

Im in NorthWest too mishi - where are you?Im nr Liverpool on Wirral
Better go - 3 kids in bath sound like its getting messy!

romilly · 06/02/2005 17:29

yingers - yes, didn't want to give you all the gory details of my AF, but now you've asked - it was definitely heavier - v. bad one day and went on for longer than usual too. i just put it down to everything clearing itself out. quite glad i waited for the first AF though now, because it feels like i'm giving my body time to recover a bit.

hope you guys all had a fun-packed weekend too - why do the weekends go sooooooo quickly and the weeks seem to drag at the moment. bella, like you, i had a few too many (again) on friday night - but i had to go out with a friend who announced she was pregnant - and although i was thrilled for them of course, it was just about the last thing i needed to be talking about all night - which she did.

dramaqueen - i think its only bella and me who are in london. btw, is your sis still reading your posts??! i'm not sure i'd want that! i told my sis about the site so now i am wondering if i'll be busted horror!

Bella23 · 06/02/2005 11:15

DQ - think body is playing tricks - typical!
well another hangove for me as seem to be stuck in a rut of anlways fancying a drink, seem to have lost all self control!
People over for sunday lunch today so am being a good wifey in the kitchen. People coming are one friend with her 2 year old and my other friend who is pregnant - YAH!! Should be nice baby talk most of the afternoon - may have to sneak off every now and then for a secret scream!!
Hope you ladies are having good weekends.
I have been having period type pains for the last few days with no sign of her - wonder what this means?

hi
dq im not in london.. am in northwest

yingers my af turned up 5+1 but i think some people regain normal cycle so if u had say 25 day one then should turn up in 25 days but can take up to 8 wks...so far it seems to be normal although have some aching pains in stomach and back....

yingers74 · 05/02/2005 22:00

Rom - it is called yogalates energizer and has a dark haired very thin woman on the front. At first I thought she was my age but then her grown up daughter appeared on screen and I realised that she just looked great and young! I am going to try and keep up if it means one day I look that good!

There is no signs of my AF, how early is it likely to arrive? Have u found that your AF is like it was before or is it heavier?

dramaqueen72 · 05/02/2005 20:12

hey you lucky ladies (promise this will be only time i refer to those with af as lucky!!!) well okay so not quite rarving to go, but close!!!
bella i think you must be right about me, i think i MUST be close to O -surely- with just a few weeks between the surgery and now? except, i keep getting neg opks.....v annoying unless my body is getting wierd on me......
dh has told me he fancies a christmas baby.....what? oh wait! that means i should get pg in three mnths!! not now!!! blimey, hopes hes not 'set' on that. i kinda intend to get pg before then, fingers crossed.
hey hang on ladies.....is EVERYBODY in london but me? oh poor meeeeeeeee......

romilly · 05/02/2005 18:52

wish i was bella but damned AF is outstaying her welcome. kind of annoying.

mishi1977 · 05/02/2005 18:13

hi bella i will be once Af goes...Dh wont know what hit him..lol

Bella23 · 05/02/2005 14:56

Mishi - good news, am a little jealous, will be relieved then AF shows her head.
Cool - are you and Rom both full steam ahead now?

OP posts:
romilly · 05/02/2005 14:27

glad to hear that mishi i knew you wouldn't be far behind with the AF as our dates were just days apart.

dramaqueen and bella - i'm a london girl too (but not born and bred - just spent practically my whole adult life here. was raised in the country but would definitely say i'm more of an urban creature - like culture more than cows i guess )

yingers - whats your yogalates dvd called and where did you get it? sounds like something i'll try once and then will sit on the shelf gathering dust and cobwebs, but might check it out all the same...

mishi1977 · 04/02/2005 20:17

hi all

am a happy bunny as AF arrived today..only 5+1 after op...was starting to panic that something was wrong..ie they knocked my tubes etc..u know how it goes....anyways that is the only time i will be happy to see ob and it looks like im starting on day one of what could posisbly be a 36 day cycle...arghh so long to wait
oh well from here on in the TTc does officially commence

Bella23 · 04/02/2005 16:32

TTC is all about WAITING - a pet hate I think for nearly every woman on this planet! A friend of mine was saying the other day that if it was men that got pregnant there would be a product on the market that meant you could test within hours of conception!!
I have just noticed the "How soon did you notice you were pregnant" thread and have just driven myself nuts for 5 mins with looking for my own imaginary symptoms -madness!
I hope you all manage to keep yourself suitably busy this weekend and can have a break from obsessing.

yingers74 · 04/02/2005 15:03

Good afternoon,

I am in Ealing, west london.

Today my dd is in nursery which means it is my housework/shopping/errands/exercise day but I have to admit that so far have only managed afew chores today. Have fallen into a bit of a slump, nothing is happening on the O front and feel the impatience eating me up!!!! SCREAM.....aah feel a bit better now. off to clean the toilet now, lucky me!

dramaqueen72 · 04/02/2005 11:35

BLOODY hormones even.....

dramaqueen72 · 04/02/2005 11:35

which means Bella-I have no excuses for feeling this cranky!!!!!
interesting to read the part on that site about which 'wrong balance' of hormeones makes you feel a certain way with PMT. mines the 'crave carbs and feel crap' one!!
boody hormones, why dont they just behave!?
myopk for the last three days have been negative. so i'm not sure about it being O time. but....worth a try.

Bella23 · 04/02/2005 11:29

DQ - good sight
I think you should go for the bding as its only just been 2 weeks since your op so could be ov time.

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 04/02/2005 11:17

just seeing if i can actually paste a link, found this site, v basic to some maybe, but very interesting, about exactly what happens when in our cycles, i'm not so sure i' right next to af now..may be squeeze a few more bd sessions in! (if dh can forgive me for being sucha cow last night.........oops.......)
here
if it doesnt work bear with me....pasting links are not my strong point! some 'wierd' links and comments towards the end, but good info at the top!

Bella23 · 04/02/2005 10:46

I'm in London also, east dulwich if of any interest. I've lived in London for over 10 years but am a northerner at heart as am originally from Yorkshire.

dramaqueen72 · 04/02/2005 10:36

oh NAUGHTY Girl's dh!! actually there was a time when i thought getting an insight to mumsnet would help dh 'get' me, but hes never v interested. however i told my sister about this site, simply because its such a great place thought she would like it too.......and she searched for me (i'm often called dramaqueen ) and read what i was thinking.....that threw me abit,as like bella, i never wrote this to be read by anyone i knew in RL. still, there we go. who knows, maybe it does them all good to see inside our heads for a moment.
I'm alright, keeping busy trying not ot pause to think tooo much about my own ttc today, lets get af and get that over with, then i can obsess with the best of you. temps, charts, opks - the whole lot
without meaning to bring 'rl' into it, i was wondering where we all are based? Girl i know youre in London right? I'm in southampton, wheres everyone else? i like to place you all, if you see what i mean

Bella23 · 04/02/2005 10:21

GFP - very bad DH for reading your posts!
I haven't told anyone about MM as I feel it helps me be sane in the RW. It means I can tell you lot the ttc stuff in my head so that others are spared!
That cold of yours sounds like it is getting you down - no bloody wonder! Have a good wallow and get it all out, holding things in just prolongs it in my book!
Hope you get better over the weekend

OP posts:
girlfromip · 04/02/2005 10:09

DQ, I hope you and all of us feel we can post happy, sad, angry, everything here and that's what's so brilliant about mn . I welcome anything you have to say about what you're going through. I hugely relate to the negative stuff and am recovering from grim midnight row with dh (not helped by his reading some of my mumsnet posts which really p**s me off) and him being fed up with me being under the weather etc. So am impressed that you have the ambition, energy and will to even have started this thread! That's why I'm sure all shall be well for you because you have the strength not to give up.
I am now married to my cold which has settled lovingly on my chest and seems to be committed to staying with me forever as is post mc loss - such joy! It's just as I think you said Bella - maybe we have to buckle up for this extreme see-saw of ttc, I think I've already forgotten how upsetting it can be. But I'm the first to be surprised when a great day turns into a bad night or vice versa!
Thinking of you all from the middle of a huge pile of kleenex under a dark cloud of a malcontent dh, .....

Bella23 · 04/02/2005 09:15

DQ - hang in there lady! Days of feeling like this are bound to happen. As you will see from my post on the other thread - I ended up doing a test when my AF is not due until at least another week! Does that give you an indication that I know where you are coming from????

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 04/02/2005 09:00

Girl -glad youre feeling some what better.
i am NOT feeling good today, i'm sorry. i am 99% sure i have PMT -usual signs of bloating, spots, always hungry but not sure for what...,and extreme grouchiness i am HORRIBLE today/last night. dh thinks i've lost the plot.
all this made much worse by the fact that i'm most likely not pg this cycle then.....of course it was incrediable long shot anyhow, but i'm disappointed. and then again (sorry f*cked up head already and its only 9am!!) we DId bd 3 times, when i didnt realise it was around O time. and you only have to do it once to get pg right???? this is a SCARY insight to how i may feel in the next few months if i am not pg each tme. and this cycle i wasnt even trying in ernest. oooh i was kidding myself with my 'i'm not really trying' attitude. i really want to get back on the pg bandwagon (dont we all). my appologies for being a downer this morning. and AF isnt even HERE yet!! lordy...
trying to force cheery thoughts for next post, honest.

girlfromip · 03/02/2005 16:19

Hello all, have had a much better day today, much more cheeful. It is confusing being on two threads but it totally reflects my state of mind! I don't know about anyone else!
Nearly the week-end......
