Hi everyone, setting up a new months thread for those of us who already know weโ€™re out for August. Iโ€™m going on to cycle 3. Hope this can continue to be a place where we can chat and support one another.

Iโ€™d like to join please! Currently TTC no2, cycle 2 and 4 DPO ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ good luck everyone x

ThisHangryTiger · 01/09/2025 07:07

@SureLook BFN this morning. The wait continues! Why oh why do we do this to ourselves ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคฃ

ChaE05 · 01/09/2025 06:05

Hey ladies! Jumping over from August thread. I'm 6dpo today. Not feeling particularly hopeful to be honest. This is cycle 10 of ttc and just feel like each month I feel less optimistic. Anyone else the same? Have got my fertility appointment in a week's time, so will see what they say and if anything more they can do, besides the blood tests and pelvic ultrasound I've already had.

@Iris2024I'm so so sorry ๐Ÿ’” it's so shit. I personally didn't wait a month, I ovulated on time the following month after my miscarriage. I counted the first day of my miscarriage bleed as CD1. And I caught straight away, sadly that was a chemical. I think my ovulation after that was maybe 2 days earlier. So keep that in mind. But no reason not to try straight away. The doctors at EPU said I could. Sending a great big hug x

@Mash0917 Think I missed you in the previous thread! How long have you been trying?

@Angelyoga Good luck! I was taking a few supplements and changed my diet to prep for trying again too. Hope it pays off soon!

Yah we probably missed each other. :-p So nice to meet you. I've been ttc for my 2nd for 6 months now. Turning 36 in two weeks with endometriosis, and going all in every cycle.

Hi all!
Currently abroad, back in town on the 18th. Prepping myself (and hubby) to actively start ttc, by taking supplements, tracking, exercising, eating healthily etc.

Still breastfeeding 14m pp, with pcos and no period. Thinking I had a chemical pregnancy
In February and July.
Very excited to be on this journey.

Mash0917 · 01/09/2025 00:35

@SureLook , @Muddysocks1 @Iris2024 Good to have you girls here as well. Let's hope this is our cycle. ๐Ÿ’–

Joining on cycle 1 TTC! 1dpo, did time always move this slowly?

Well, there was a funny setback. I had the peak on my Clearblue advanced digital O test on Friday. Then had a little cramp ( I always have really bad cramps during O) and a little ewcm on Friday, so I thought, well, there's the ovulation! But Sunday morning, I woke up with the bad cramps, lots of ewcm (sorry tmi), bbt dip, and all the usual O business. 48 hours passed, so the O test was active again, took another, and it went straight back to peak! So I grabbed DH and dragged him to my lair! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‚ All that just to say, I guess NOW I'm 1 dpo. two more weeks of waiting, damn it! Glad I have you as tww buddy! ๐Ÿ’–

SureLook · 31/08/2025 20:46

@ThisHangryTiger I'd be the exact same ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ fingers crossed. Let us know how you get on.

ThisHangryTiger · 31/08/2025 20:25

@SureLook i think we all know what I'll be doing tomorrow morning ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคฃ

SureLook · 31/08/2025 20:22

@Iris2024 yes, that's what the hospital wants you to do. But there's no research that shows more of a benefit between waiting for your period or not. So, for me, it was a personal choice. But I know of people who went again straight away. You do what's best for you x

@ThisHangryTiger hello and welcome back! I can see what you mean on the test. I would be a little cautious as it looks like a little bit of dye run to me. But there is absolutely something there, all be it outside of the time frame. I think all of us have fished a test out of the bin once or twice ๐Ÿ™ˆ will you test again tomorrow or in a couple of days?

ThisHangryTiger · 31/08/2025 19:59

Hi all, I was around a few threads ago but then took some time away. I'm sorry to hear of all the sad news and sending everyone lots of baby dust.

I've had my referral letter for tests, so that is in November. I'm 9DPO today and DH is on hol so thought I'd have a little go... Nothing was there in the 5 mins so put the test in the bin. Then (maybe stupidly) I picked it back out, maybe 20 mins later and this was on. It's colour and all the way to the bottom although a bit darker at the top. I don't know what to think?! I did just read that colour only ever appears with HCG and just could be super low concentration? Arghh!!!

@Iris2024 I'm all good, thank you. I think it's just so they can accurately date a pregnancy. So if you wait for your next period they'll date the pregnancy from the first day of your last period. I think they feel there's a bit more uncertainty dating it from a loss whereas a period is more definite.
For my personality type and after the MMC I wanted to wait for my period. I didn't want there to be any wondering about dates or if I was measuring behind. I wouldn't have coped well with that. I need things to be more definite. So it's very much a personal choice when you try again x

Iโ€™ve got you lovely so donโ€™t try straight after the miscarriage bleed but the next bleed which would be next period. So much to think about isnโ€™t there.

@Iris2024 aww, I'm sorry to hear cramping has started. I was really holding out hope for you. Get the chocolate and goodies in and curl up on the couch.
With my losses I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 and went from there. I waited for a period before trying again but that's just me. The only reason they recommend that is for dating a new pregnancy. But if you don't wait and start trying trying and catch, they'll date from the first day of bleeding of your loss. I hope that makes sense x

Thank you hun, Iโ€™ve had no spotting or bleeding yet. Whatโ€™s the difference between waiting for period and not from first day of loss? Sorry just so I can decide what to do. Hope youโ€™re okay.

Joining on cycle 1 TTC! 1dpo, did time always move this slowly?

Spanielsandredwine · 31/08/2025 16:14

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ can I join please. On 2nd 'serious' cycle of TTC baby#2. Got my (late so had my hopes up) period this morning so I'm CD1..

I have a 4yo daughter starting reception this week so I'm hoping time will go quickly because we are busy, I'm so impatient and the TWW was not fun at all!

Sending lots of luck to everyone ๐Ÿ’œ

Muddysocks1 · 31/08/2025 13:20

Iris2024 · 31/08/2025 11:16

Thank you all โค๏ธ means so so much. Iโ€™m cramping now so I imagine a bleed is not far behind.

Can I please ask? Partner and I want to keep trying straight away. What is to be expected now with cycle and tracking for a new month once I bleed? To the ladies who have been in this awful situation that Iโ€™m going to be in..

When I had the first chemical I started bleeding at 5 weeks, and counting that bleed as a period, my next ovulation was bang on time so we just continued โ€œas normalโ€.

@Iris2024 im so sorry youโ€™re having such a tough time right now - sending love and all the sticky baby dust!

im still here just staying in touch with the thread. Have come off my contraception but still no withdrawal bleed so not really in a cycle right now I guess. Been cramping for days so fingers crossed it happens soon and I can then begin a proper
cycle โœŒ๐Ÿป

Marvelftw · 31/08/2025 09:09

@Muddysocks1 Sorry you didnโ€™t catch last month, hope you have luck this time!

@Taysonic Thanks for popping by and saying hello :) I know waiting to start TTC after a procedure can bring up a lot of mixed feelings, so hope youโ€™re doing ok

@Runnergirl27 Sorry to hear AF came in the end. Trollgesterone is the worst. How long have you been trying?

@Apricotmuffino Sorry to hear youโ€™re finding things tough atm, can only keep pressing forward x

@Wirelessbird I just booked an appointment to get some blood tests done too. Would be useful to get a bigger picture of things. Here here on hoping that September is super lucky for all of us!

@Mash0917 The TWW is my least favorite part of the cycle ๐Ÿ˜… Hoping it goes quickly for you and you get some good news!

@SureLook Nice to see you over on here too โ˜บ๏ธ Thanks for following along with us and definitely keep us updated on things x

@Iris2024 I remember your journey in the other thread. Iโ€™m really really sorry, this journey can be so hard and unfair.

Following along. I managed to catch in the previous thread but I'd like to hang around due to previous losses and to follow all your journeys โค๏ธ

good to have you here too @SureLook โ˜บ๏ธ

12dpo so expect Iโ€™ve got two or three more days before AF and I can start new cycle. Will start letrozole on CD2 - seeing as not pregnant Iโ€™m counting down the days to that now

SureLook · 31/08/2025 08:19

@Iris2024 aww I'm so so sorry, I really am. How many dpo are you now?

Iris2024 · 31/08/2025 07:55

Iโ€™m following along in this thread if okay as Iโ€™m pregnant and found out last Saturday and positive on a digital but unfortunately my tests are not progressing. Iโ€™m at a point now where Iโ€™m just waiting to bleed as Iโ€™ve lost hope and tests are definitely lighter. Itโ€™s really hard to accept as we have a daughter already and we tried so hard for this one but looks like not meant to be. Iโ€™m 42 on Tuesday when itโ€™s my birthday. How cruel if I miscarry now.

Donโ€™t know what to do with myself now and hopefully bleeding starts soon so I can try and move on as this doesnโ€™t look like a viable pregnancy now ๐Ÿ˜ข @SureLook thanks for checking in and asking about me on other thread.
