Hi everyone, setting up a new months thread for those of us who already know weโ€™re out for August. Iโ€™m going on to cycle 3. Hope this can continue to be a place where we can chat and support one another.

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ Still here quietly reading through, 7dpo and no symptoms last few days which Iโ€™m happy with. Time is passing so slow, even on night shifts! 4 more days till Iโ€™ll test.
@MyPeppyLimeBearAgree with the others, hard to read the chart sorry!
@amey44Itโ€™s so difficult isnโ€™t it, is there a chance you ovulated later this cycle?

Daisies104 · 07/09/2025 18:49

No sign of my period so just still testing, will try again tomorrow but canโ€™t see it happening now xxx

hey lovely ladies, hope everyoneโ€™s ok. Took a few weeks off from the thread but I am just tracking ovulation right now. Going to have a read through all of your posts.

I wondered if anyone is familiar with ovulation tracking by temperature please? If so would you mind looking at my graph from my smart ring attached. Would this be consistent with ovulation? What does it tell you? My app isnโ€™t very informative to be honest. Iโ€™m very confused as all of my ovulation tests have been negative - taken a few per day :(

just for a bit of background I suffer from anovulation due to PCOS and Iโ€™m currently on Metformin to assist.

Hi - I chart regularly using a wearable (Tempdrop armband). I wouldn't say that this shows ovulation but like @CDD1992 I'm finding the app you're using tricky to read - would definitely recommend FF, it's old school but very clear and does some interpretation for you!

Ladies.. really sorry as I have forgotten who might have posted this. But think it might have been more than 1 of you? @Muddysocks1was it you?!
Progesterone being prescribed via an online appointment with a fertility specialist? I'm struggling to get an appointment for a little while with some of the clinics I have contacted. If I can't get progesterone from my NHS appointment Monday I really want to find somewhere that will. For my next cycle x

I got a prescription via Dr Mortons - may be worth speaking with them to see if they'll assist you (this was a while back so things may have changed since then).

bluepears96 · 07/09/2025 17:24

@CityKityooh yes I like having someone at the exact same point as me! but that doesnโ€™t sound great, what a rotten time. You never know though. When will you test? I was thinking Friday eve.

If it makes you feel any better we could only try once this month due to work schedulesโ€ฆ did it on my LH peak though so at least the timing was good.

I am a MW & HV, September is our busiest month for births so Iโ€™m hoping that will keep me nice and distracted this week.

Hope everybody has a great weekSmile

Hey @MyPeppyLimeBear- I am familiar with temperature tracking but not with the app youโ€™re using - sorry. I track by taking my temperature each morning before I get out of bed and also chart in Celsius. Iโ€™ve attached the chart from when I fell pregnant with my son in 2023. Iโ€™m using the same app again, fertility friend as itโ€™s just easy to see whatโ€™s going on and you can log all other symptoms too.

I honestly hate having irregular cycles so much it makes ttc so much harder๐Ÿ’” Iโ€™m currently CD 32 now and af can come any time up until 38 days itโ€™s so draining!

This was yesterdays test I donโ€™t see any point in testing again yet I still try and convince my self I might have a chance and to buy more tests even though iโ€™d probably have a positive by now๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Sorry for being so negative guys iโ€™m just finding these past few recent cycles really hard after ttc for so long

Hi all, joining back for my 2nd cycle after a chemical pregnancy in our first cycle TTC. Not sure re timing but think ovulation is going to be around today/tomorrow based on previous (going off Flo app and CM only, not using LH tests). DTD once today and not sure weโ€™ll have many more chances as this month has been a bit of a weird one with dealing with our early loss and other life things. So I think Iโ€™m about to start my TWW. Hope everyone is doing ok!

Marvelftw · 07/09/2025 11:49

@Daisies104 Sorry to hear it was no this morning Daisy. Maybe an evap like ajc1994 said?

@Digby86 Sorry, I know the feeling of receiving bad news at the 12 week scan all too well ๐Ÿ˜ž I conceived on my fourth month so Iโ€™m really hoping to conceive again in a similar time frame!

@ChaE05 @Angelyoga and @overwork , thank you! Negotiating breastfeeding an older baby/toddler is tricky enough without the added complications of trying to conceive. I do think I'm ready to wean regardless of TTC, but will do it very gradually. I was hoping I would get pregnant and she would wean naturally!

@ChaE05 I've conceived 3 times on the second month of trying, but only have my daughter as I had an early miscarriage before her and then the MMC. Hoping it won't take too long, but not holding out much hope this cycle as I only ovulated just over a week after the surgery. 6dpo today, but will hold off testing until 12dpo as we're away on holiday

@Digby86 Welcome! Sorry to hear that you had a MMC too, hoping that this is your month x

Digby86 · 07/09/2025 09:07

Can I join?

cycle 3 after a mmc at 12 weeks back in June. Ttc #2. Period was a little later than normal this month (guess still settling down after mc) and got a bad indent on a frer yesterday so kind of got my hopes up and feeling quite low this morning waking up to AF ๐Ÿ˜ข

really hoping this is our month. Both previous pregnancies weโ€™ve fallen third cycle ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

@bluepears96 weโ€™re synced up - Iโ€™m 2DPO too (cycle 1 of trying)! Iโ€™m almost definitely out this month though. Got a bit carried away so DTD on CD9,10,11 (Iโ€™m guessing ovulation on CD13) and have been sick as a dog since ๐Ÿ˜ข.
Absolutely agonising wisdom teeth pain/infection. I tried to cope without painkillers in case that would affect our chances this month, but couldnโ€™t cope, so have been popping pills and will get antibiotics tomorrow.

A bit bummed out as weโ€™ll try next month but take Nov off so we donโ€™t risk the same birthday as DS.

Daisies104 · 07/09/2025 06:41

Nothing this morning, gutted. Not experienced it before so not sure what to think :/

bluepears96 · 06/09/2025 23:50

Hi everyone, Iโ€™m new here and itโ€™s only my 2nd cycle trying. Currently 2 DPO. The wait to test feels ever so long and Iโ€™m conscious of every little twinge. It feels all consuming, in an exciting way so far.

it can be quite isolating as this takes up a lot of head space but you canโ€™t really talk about it with anyone yet!

givingitanothergo · 06/09/2025 21:38

Iโ€™m cd28 today potentially 14dpo
my last few cycles have been 27, 28 and 27 and Iโ€™ve had spotting 2 days before my period actually starting. Iโ€™ve had nothing this time of course stupidly tested again today and completely blank.
I just want my period to start so I can just get on with the next cycle ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Daisies104 · 06/09/2025 21:22

Thanks everyone, Iโ€™ll update first thing tomorrow! Xx

amey44 · 06/09/2025 16:05

@ChaE05Its so hard isnโ€™t it iโ€™ve not really been affected too much by ttc until now I find pregnancy or anything baby related really triggering and upsettingโ˜น๏ธI did try work out my dpo since I wasnโ€™t tracking and I had logged ewcm on cd 20 so I could be 9dpo ish today still guessing iโ€™m out though as im sick of getting my hopes up

Marvelftw · 06/09/2025 12:16

Fingers crossed for you if itโ€™s true @Daisies104 Youโ€™d be our BFP of the month!

@Daisies104I can deffo see something however I did two of these easy@home tests yesterday at 8/9 dpo and they both had a very similar line and this mornings had nothing so I put it down to an evap which can be common on these tests. Really hoping yours isnt but just be cautious x

Iโ€™ve had some of these and I honestly think particularly if itโ€™s more than one test thatโ€™s shown them, it might be a v early chemical? Like started to implant then failed somehow? Donโ€™t know if thatโ€™s better or worse, just my theory after having them a fair few times!

overwork · 06/09/2025 09:24

@Angelyoga, @ChaE05and @PBandJellySandwichIโ€™m also still breastfeeding a just turned 2 yo, similar schedule to PB except we have a morning feed too. Iโ€™ve decided that I wonโ€™t be weaning him before heโ€™s ready but itโ€™s a difficult decision! If of interest thereโ€™s an article here about breastfeeding and fertility: https://www.carolsmyth.co.uk/fertility

Angelyoga · 06/09/2025 09:16

Hi @PBandJellySandwich, exactly! We have to make such hard decisions while also not stressing lol
In my case, even after the medical treatment it would take around 3 cycles for the uterine lining to thicken and my hormones to be established. That means that we are looking at a time frame around next year for conception.
Going naturally would delay it even more.
So frustrating when time is not on my side.

Please, let us know how your weaning is going and what you decide to do.

Daisies104 · 06/09/2025 09:04

Thanks so much guys! I am still thinking there is no wayโ€ฆ it would be our second baby and Iโ€™m just amazed if itโ€™s happened. Iโ€™m going to use a clear blue tomorrow. I used one strip and CB at 1am and nothing came up but then I re tested at 7am and got the v faint line. Trying to protect my heart as realise could be a chemical so just hoping for the best xx
