Hi everyone, setting up a new months thread for those of us who already know weโ€™re out for August. Iโ€™m going on to cycle 3. Hope this can continue to be a place where we can chat and support one another.

I have had a couple of days of clear ovulation dishcharge but my tests say no, im
on day 11 so Iโ€™m hoping itโ€™s soon. I have 2 cycles before our fertility appointment and really hoping I donโ€™t make it, the body is a complicated thing

AMBM6040 · 16/09/2025 08:02

@Iris2024sorry to hear your going through that, hopefully it happens for you soon,

@Marvelftw Iโ€™m definitely guilty of overthinking symptoms! Today (10dpo) definitely feels like a classic pre-menstrual day. Bloating, gas, v mild cramps. Itโ€™s been useful to pay more attention to my body that usual, but I know from my first that I got zero symptoms, so have relaxed a bit and treated myself to wine in the bath tonight!

@overwork glad the weekend away was a good distraction! Work has been great and I havenโ€™t even thought about it until just now which is a nice change. Hopefully the rest of the week will fly by. I looked into natural cycles after one of your earlier posts, and love the published research from it - this figure in particular is so interesting to me:

Showing follicular length by age. They analysed over 600,000 cycles and have some really interesting insights. Mainly that on average the luteul phase sits around 12.5days and this remains consistent as we age whereas the follicular phase length decreases over time. Overall suggesting that ovulation is later that the average 14days weโ€™re told.

Sorry Iโ€™ve gone off on a tangent but as a 37yr old this data suggests on average a woman of my age is likely to ovulate day 15.5 of their cycle. Obviously I could just track to confirm but Iโ€™m finding reading about the data more fun ๐Ÿ˜‚

Oh thatโ€™s interesting!!!

Iโ€™m 33 and usually ovulate day 14/15 but the last couple of months itโ€™s been earlier, day 12/13. Apparently shortening follicular phase can be linked to reducing ovarian reserve (which I guess makes sense with age) but hope thatโ€™s not thatโ€™s happening with me. I need to get my AMH tested again maybe - was surprised as fertility clinic didnโ€™t do a follicle count before prescribing letrozole

Sorry quick question, does anyone here take progesterone in whatever form to aid ovulation? I know someone mentioned it on here a few threads back

I was taking after ovulation for a few months as my progesterone was low but sadly no pregnancy still

@MyPeppyLimeBear@CDD1992๐Ÿ‘€ you ladies have some kind of bionic vision ๐Ÿคฃ. Tbh my period seems to be AWOL (I usually have very distinct symptoms the days before it starts and I havenโ€™t had them at all) so I will keep an eye on it. Might not test for a few days now though because Iโ€™m getting a bit stressed! I think Iโ€™ve resigned myself the the idea that it hasnโ€™t happened this month so donโ€™t have an overwhelming urge to test!

Keeping everything crossed for you!! X

Morning!
very sadly, I think I have a bad batch of Wondfo tests which are giving horrible indents, because I just got the same line again but not a whiff off a line in any other test. Iโ€™m due on tomorrow so I think Iโ€™m going to stop torturing myself for now and wait for AF to arrive, or test again in a few days x

I agree, I can see something on all three strip tests.

hmm feel like I can see something very very very faint on the first and last ones still?

Hi all, been off the threads a few weeks to stop obsessing over TTc. Currently abroad and around 11dpo. Do I have line eyes? Should it be darker?

I think I see something on the 2nd test. Keeping ny fingers and toes crossed for you. โค๏ธ

Thank you for kind words @CityKity โค๏ธ

@Marvelftw it was sad ๐Ÿ˜ข We are straight back into it first cycle after, did +3 before OV, OV day and today just in case. I missed peak not testing LH strips one evening as was out overnight so hope we caught it.

@LilacBow45 I def see those lines. How many DPO are you? Sorry if youโ€™ve said.

My LH tests seem higher after my chemical. They usually go back low but donโ€™t seem to be as light as usual.

Definitely lines there, Iโ€™d do another test in a few days

LaurLou22 · 14/09/2025 19:19

10DPO and Iโ€™m fairly sure Iโ€™m out. My mind is telling me there is a line on the wondfo but realistically itโ€™s either not there or is an evap. :(

I think I can see lines on the first and last tests?

Marvelftw · 14/09/2025 22:38

@overwork probably did have symptoms due to the rise in progesterone! Unfortunately when youโ€™re ttc you just become hyper aware of every single thing.

@CityKity You're doing good if youโ€™re still managing to hold out but donโ€™t be too hard on yourself. I think weโ€™ve all been guilty of letting the conception process consume us from time to time.

overwork · 14/09/2025 22:23

Hello @CityKity! Thankyou for thinking of me. I believe Iโ€™m 5 DPO. Weโ€™ve been away this weekend which has been lovely, and itโ€™s really broke up the cycle of overthinking it, as you said it very easily becomes all consuming doesnโ€™t it? I have quite short cycles, usually between 24-26 days, so my period will come in about a week if Iโ€™m not pregnant.
Very frustrating that you were ill at the wrong time.
I had some virus thingy in July right over the time I would have been fertile. I absolutely could not have had sex and Iโ€™m pretty sure my partner wouldnโ€™t have wanted to go near me either, but I still persuaded myself my period was late that month and I had โ€˜symptomsโ€™ - madness!

CityKity · 14/09/2025 22:13

@bluepears96 tbh Iโ€™m already thinking about TCC more than I hoped I would (given that itโ€™s cycle 1 and my chances are super low), so I donโ€™t want to add testing early and stress myself more. Iโ€™m literally counting down the days till AF so Iโ€™m not sure Iโ€™ll have the will to resist testing early next cycle.

@overwork how are you getting on this cycle?

LaurLou22 · 14/09/2025 20:55

@bluepears96me too and it seems darker then the one from this morning but negative on all other brands so am worried the batch is off maybe? I did also just take this Amazon early detection one which says it detects from 10MUI - I think I do see something (maybe Iโ€™m going crazy at this point) but I would expect that it would be much darker if it detects at 10MIU and the Wondfo is 25MIU?

Has anyone had issues with the Amazon early detection tests not being very accurate? Maybe Iโ€™m fooling myselfโ€ฆ

@LaurLou22i donโ€™t want to give false hope, but I do see something!?

@CityKityyes work is a good distraction! I know, I just feel like other women get positives sooner, which is silly as the implantation window is still technically open and a BFN would be couple of days after that.

CityKity · 14/09/2025 20:39

@bluepears96 nope I havenโ€™t tested yet. Iโ€™ll be 10dpo tomorrow and AF due in the next 4/5 days so Iโ€™m holding out. Hopefully work will distract me this week, so will test towards the end of the week if AF doesnโ€™t show. Mild period like cramps today but canโ€™t for the life of me remember if thatโ€™s normal for me.

My understanding is that implantation can happen 5-10 post ovulation so even 10dpo may be too early to see a positive. Still holding out hope for you ๐Ÿคž.

LaurLou22 · 14/09/2025 20:35

I couldnโ€™t help myself and took this just now? This is Sandro again but still nothing on the other tests..

LaurLou22 · 14/09/2025 20:04

@bluepears96 Ah I think that might be the wondfo one! I think itโ€™s an evap if Iโ€™m being honest :(.

Iโ€™m sorry :( I mean they advise to test after you kiss your period so maybe a few days after if AF hasnโ€™t arrived?

bluepears96 · 14/09/2025 20:02

@CityKityIโ€™m curious, have you tested or are you still holding out?
