Anyone want to join me on the TWW? Currently 6dpo and it’s feeling like forever!

I have had the occasional shooting pain in my boobs, they feel bigger and had cramps/twinges on and off for the last 2 days.

My temp took a huge dive below the cover line yesterday but it’s back up to just above cover line today!

Come and join in x

Sorry ladies! Been absent and not coping well mentally!! Sick of unsuccessful cycles and wondering if I’ll ever actually be a mum one day 😢 had a really shitty day today, made worse by a “friend” who said how “I need to get cracking” and “are you sure you’re actually having sex at the right times” and went onto discuss how she caught within 3 months and “how weird that your body just isn’t getting pregnant, only you eh” (?!?!) - she then went onto load her pregnancy app (she’s 14 weeks) and proceeded to read out what she should expect this week coming whilst rubbing her belly?! What is actually wrong with people?! Maybe I’m being sensitive but she royally pissed me off!! So insensitive I left our coffee feeling really deflated and hurt!

really pleased to come on here and see both of your amazing lines though! How exciting for you both! I hope all goes well ❤️❤️ I’m overdue an early night I think! Xxx

I’m so sorry you’re having a rough day @MrsOverthinker25, honestly what was your friend thinking?! Some people are just so insensitive and don’t even realise. I just wouldn’t dream of flaunting my pregnancy and being so condescending if I knew a friend was struggling. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through that today, really not what you needed when you were feeling deflated to start with. I’m also sorry if mine and @ThatNimbleOP’s line comparisons have been triggering for you, absolutely not my intention and I apologise if that is the case. I really hope it will happen for you soon 🙏🏻 hang in there, you’ll absolutely be a mum one day ❤️

@SantiagoSister saw this on another thread, think it's true really. Just check it's not getting lighter :) Right, i better get back to work haha!

"Line progression isn't really a thing - the midwives at my hospital get super annoyed at it because it doesn't mean anything, so long as they don't actively get lighter (which yours aren't). Stop testing, and sit tight. It's so hard to do I know, but you're working yourself up over something you don't need to. I totally get why you would be worried, but this isn't helping you. Testing won't control if you keep this baby or not x"

This is so true isn’t it. Well said! I guess the main goal is just to make sure they’re not getting lighter then. Good luck with trying to hold out until Friday to test again, it’s hard but it will be a lot more accurate waiting that extra time as you say. Will keep you posted this evening when I do another cheapie 🤞🏼

@SantiagoSister i know...i feel a bit more confident then after a day feel like i have to test to reassure? But then it's a bit of a spiral. The outcome will still be the same won't it. it's just the suppositories throwing me off as they delay period so the tests are my only indicator.

I'm going to TRY and wait till Friday now for 48hrs which is more accurate rather then 24/36 hours.

TBF the discharge is more dark yellow/light brown and i've had it since starting the suppositories on and off since 3DPO so think it could be irritation! xx

Yes cramps are totally normal at this point. God it's a minefield!! Here together getting through it haha <3

Edited

That’s so true. Logically we know the outcome can’t be changed no matter what the tests show, so we are just torturing ourselves by stressing over line progression. But will that stop us? Probably not 🙈

That’s really reassuring that you’ve had that discharge since 3DPO, at least it’s not a new thing so hopefully that’s eased your mind a little bit. I am certainly glad to be here together getting through this tough initial stage!

@SantiagoSister there we go then re: the monitor!! Just got to get through each day.

I've tested this morning in the end with IC and FRER. Not seeing loads of progression on FRER but think it has darkened. Feeling a bit disappointed and worried. I really don't know if all this testing is healthy!! I've been feeling crampy and thought i had some brownish discharge but maybe be the suppositories...

Guarding my heart <3 Keep me updated your end xx

Ah it definitely isn’t helpful testing so often, I feel it causes unnecessary anxiety but it’s impossible not to, so I do sympathise. Personally I can definitely see the FRER has darkened and I would be satisfied with that progression 🤞🏼 when will you next test with your FRERs? Your cheapies are looking good too.

I am also feeling crampy, but I do remember this from previous pregnancies so trying not to worry about it at the moment. Hopefully your brownish discharge is just from your suppositories 🤞🏼 all such a worry isn’t it.

ThatNimbleOP · 17/06/2026 09:10

FRER 11PM-13AM
IC 12AM-13AM

What do you think? This isn't a healthy obsession is it!

Just for context as well, this was my 10-12 on the cheapies. 10 was barely visible!

Edited

Thank you for this, I really appreciate seeing your cheapie tests in comparison to your FRERs. Such a big jump from 10-12, that’s so good to see! Hoping mine will look similar when I retest tonight 🤞🏼 will keep you posted. Thanks for all your support!

ThatNimbleOP · 17/06/2026 07:02

@SantiagoSister it was also expired! So definitely don’t discount. I’m doing okay. Managed to only test yesterday morning on my cheapie. The progression seemed good from 10-12DPO so feeling assured enough to calm down the testing. I’ll retest tomorrow morning with a FRER or this morning if my wee looks dark enough which it doesn’t for now!

That is also true, thank you. Hopefully when my new ones arrive I’ll get some more reassurance!

I’m glad to hear you’re doing ok and that you’re feeling more reassured after seeing your progression over the last few days. Your FRERs look really good 🥳 I’m so pleased for you!

ThatNimbleOP · 17/06/2026 06:59

@SantiagoSister sorry your picture of the easy@homes hadn’t uploaded last night, I didn’t see the progression. I think that’s really good for 9DPO and also your FRER looks good too! My FRER was taken in evening of 10DPO so almost a day more HCG but doesn’t look far off?

Was the digital 25miu? I’ve heard they’re very slow! Honestly think your lines look great and congratulations 🥳

@ThatNimbleOP thank you so much ☺️ I’m tentatively feeling excited now I’ve gotten over the shock a bit, but it’s so early days. I’ve not told my husband yet, just want to make sure things are heading in the right direction before I do so. I’m so glad you think my lines look ok, that’s really reassuring to read so thank you.

I just looked up the sensitivity on the fertility monitor and it says it’s 50 miu, so I’m hoping that’s why it’s not showing yet on there. Always horrible to read ‘not pregnant’ even when logically you know it’s probably just too early for that test.

I’ll repost my picture from last night in this post, sorry it didn’t attach properly last night!

@ThatNimbleOP Also forgot to say, I tested with my Clearblue fertility monitor this morning too and it read not pregnant. Hoping I just need to wait a few more days for it to show 🤞🏼

SantiagoSister · 17/06/2026 06:47

@ThatNimbleOP just tried my expired FRER, I feel like I would expect a darker line for 10 DPO FMU. I know every pregnancy is different, but I’ve checked it against my lines at 10 DPO in my previous pregnancies and those lines were a lot darker at this point. Feeling a bit worried that maybe this isn’t going to progress as well as I’d hoped. Will have to wait for my new FRERs to arrive and will do another cheapie tonight to compare to the other two.

How are you doing?

ThatNimbleOP · 16/06/2026 20:11

@SantiagoSister i was about 8.5 weeks/9 weeks, so not far but far enough to finally feel a bit settled. Baby had slow growth on a scan and I’d started spotting then it progressed. Very long, drawn out process.

Oh okay re: the tests! But 8-9DPO it’s so incremental and also urine concentration. Those cheapies are also bad for progression. Have you got any FRERs? I’ve only just started using them this month and find the lines so clear!

So sorry to hear this @ThatNimbleOP, you’re right, that’s definitely long enough to feel settled and start to feel excited. It’s so hard 😢 when is your first early scan? Assuming in around 3 weeks or so. Really hoping for all to be well for you.

Thanks for the heads up on the cheapies, I have one FRER in the drawer (expired 2 years ago 😂) and I’ve just ordered some fresh ones. I will try it with the one I have here in the morning and hopefully get a better line to compare to. Did my photo load above of both my tests? It says it’s under review so I’m not sure if it’s posted it. Would you say you can see any progress between the two?

@ThatNimbleOP not as much progression as I would have liked this evening, I guess I’ll just keep testing over the next few days and hoping for the best 🤞🏼

@SantiagoSister! Of course, still so early. I think with our miscarriage being not so long ago i'm just hypervigilante. You'll see in earlier messages i didn't test till 18DPO with the miscarried baby :D This seems to be giving me some reassurance...

I have everything crossed for you and how lovely if it happened for you xx

Oh I can so relate, pregnancy after loss is so difficult and it sends you crazy with the worrying. How far along were you when you miscarried before? Do you think you may feel better when you get past that point?

Thank you so much, I hope the same for you too! It would be lovely to be on the Feb/March due date threads together if all works out.

@Honey6743 oh no sorry to hear this!! It's still early. When did app say you ovulated? I know it's hard, every cycle is a chance :)

Flo app said it, but I tried to go of my CM just waiting for the period to arrive now

Honey6743 · 16/06/2026 15:53

I’m currently 8/9 DPO tested this morning and it was negative I feel so upset and deflated. Starting to begin to think the app was right and I ovulated on the day it said and I am definitely out this cycle
