Thanks all.

I had my peak test on the 11th and then three consecutive BTT rises on the 13, 14th and 15th so I’m pretty sure.

The doctor has referred me to the recurrent misscarriage unit. Now I’m just scared they’ll say they don’t count cos they’re all before 5 weeks.

Fingers crossed they won’t - they shouldn’t surely! So sorry this is happening, it’s really really shit 😞

Iris2024 · 26/08/2025 16:26

I’m so so sorry @EmPeEf 😩 Please let us know what the doctor says?

ForGiddyDreamer · 26/08/2025 16:25

@EmPeEf I am so sorry to read this. Thinking positively, having a small amount of pink is fairly normal around the time your period is due if you have had a faint positive. But I completely get that it's worrying and triggering too. I hope the GP gives you some clarity or at least books you in for a blood draw. I spotted around the time my period was due and my GP put me on progesterone and aspirin. Thinking about you xx

I’m sorry @EmPeEf 😔 are you 100% sure you’re 14dpo?

Not pregnant on a with weeks digital. Waiting for the doctor to call back.

overwork · 26/08/2025 15:48

Oooh me too @Muddysocks1. Hoping I can hold off until my period is due to test but it’s very tempting!

Muddysocks1 · 26/08/2025 15:34

Considering most tests we use are 10 miu/ml, or 25.. lots won’t get to 10 miu/ml until 12DPO or later.

@Iris2024 you got your first faint line on the 24th is that right? If so, it’s only been 48 hours for progression, so don’t give up hope.

Something clicked in me last night, and I realised that all the early detection tests mean that we know much sooner than we should, and count on line progression to reassure us. But the tests have been designed that way purely to make us buy more and so money for the people selling them, not for our benefit at all. So I’ve decided I’m refusing to play their game and I’m just going to try and remember that I’m pregnant now until I bleed.

Just saw your clearblues. They look great 👍🏻

Edited

Such a good point re tests.

also I read some stuff online later about early tests - I’m 7dpo and got tempted and tested even though is so early. Saw something that reinforces why testing early isn’t a great idea and also that it’s normal to not get a positive until later etc.

Muddysocks1 · 26/08/2025 15:31

Ahh I’m sorry @EmPeEf it’s so difficult

overwork · 26/08/2025 14:41

Ah @EmPeEf I really feel for you. I was pregnant in 2022/23 and I didn’t know any of this stuff about lines, I tested when my period was late and so far as I knew that was it, I was pregnant. Infact I still have the second test. Hoping that I can do the same this time (assuming I get pregnant), but I really feel for you with the rollercoaster of excitement to upset must be heartbreaking

EmPeEf · 26/08/2025 14:17

If I’d just done a FR today I’d have been happy as I think there’s progression from Sunday. But the others are barely there.

I’m supposed to be 14dpo.

Famous last words. It’s pink when I wipe today. So I took tests. The only one with any progression is the FR. The Wondfo and Clearblue are lighter. This will be my third chemical in four months and I’m just numb. What is the point.

I have extremely painful ovulation pain often worse than period pain. I've had ectopic and mc so had a couple ultrasounds and a surgery and they've all said no signs of pcos or endo.
I do have pmdd and luteal phase defect though that I suspect linked to low progestrone.
I'm taking Agnus castus vitex for the short luteulphase and the pmdd symptoms which has actually helped them be a bit less.
I just have the issue that my doctors seems to think the UK don't prescribe progestrone unless after you first 12 weed midwife appointment.
I'm having to go back and now get a third opinion as I have spotting during my pgrenancies and had 2 mc recently and an ectopic that resulted in loosing my left tube.
I only didn't have painful ovulation when I was on birth control. But with every bc I've tried, combined, mini, and copper coil I don't have my periods or only slight breakthrough bleeding. The coil was a bit different though.
Since having nothing I have pain leading up to ovulation pretty much I till the first 1 or 2 days of period. Feels like I only have a week and a half pain free and normal x

givingitanothergo · 26/08/2025 11:22

@Iris2024 my easy@home tests with my last pregnancy last year gave me so many faint lines early on before they really progressed, it was so stressful :(
the clear blues are looking good though !
fingers crossed all is good 🤞

Managed to get a clear blue and looks like we are progressing! What’s up with the easy at home when early pregnancy?

Sorry to everyone if this is triggering! I’ve fallen apart this morning and trying to put myself back together. It’s tough.

These look good @Iris2024
it’s so stressful isn’t it - I’ve also been closely watching the line progression, somehow I’m much more anxious this time around

I really want them to get darker to feel more reassured, but I know it takes time. Maybe I should force myself to test a bit less frequently 🫣

Morning Ladies!
Just wondering if any of you experience ovulation pain? I never had this before my little boy. I was on the pill for years, so everything was masked! Some months are worse than others but I always have some twinges and aches a couple of days before. But on the actual day of ovulation I can be in alot of pain. It doesn't keep me in bed but I have to take painkillers and it's painful to walk etc. However..it happened during the night lastnight. It was horrible. I couldn't get comfortable at all and It made me feel really sick! I don't know if this is normal? When im googling, it says its normal to have ovulation pain but if it's very bad it could be due to endometriosis. So feeling a bit worried now. My ovulation is definitely more painful than my period xx

I get ovulation pain which I only really experienced when I stopped taking BC. They don’t sound as strong as yours but mine are noticeable, I can tell which side I’m ovulating from through them. I don’t know if I have endometriosis or not.

YKM2829 · 26/08/2025 08:47

Took a break and loads to catch up on! Congrats all 🤞
I'm cd2 just had my first period since mc last month.
I think anyway it was only 3 days long before it went super pale and barely anything.
But figured my cycles just a bit messed up maybe.
Struggling alot with it all so bene trying to step back.
I've been told I have a major stress issue...
Which I know but also how tf do I stop that 😂

@Iris2024 that is confusing. Maybe the cheapies need a higher level of HCG. It’s probably a waiting game to see what tomorrow brings. It’s horrible to be in limbo. I’m sorry. Go easy on yourself today if possible!
