@Objectiontime @Fletchasketch the intralipids are such a strange one aren’t they for all we know they do absolutely nothing just cost a fortune 🤪.
I was scared coming off the steroids it lasted a couple of days then u kind of just forget and find something else to worry about 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.
@Objectiontime by 18 weeks everything is very well established so it should be fine I totally get it though, I also dropped my morning progesterone so feel like I’m doing less and less. I’m having some issues with dreaded piles so one less pessary I’m a bit relieved lol. Also can’t seem to get rid of thrush I’m on my 2nd lot of pessaries, lol I’m sick of bunging stuff up those holes at the minute 😂😂😂

Fletchasketch · 05/09/2025 09:54

@Objectiontime that must feel very scary. I'm sure I heard Shehata say that immune issues are always before 10 weeks if that's in any way reassuring, but I think I would feel just like you coming off the steroids. All the very best for your scan.

@Deerdancer34 thank you! You guys are the only people who know other than my partner, I can't tell you how comforting it is to have your encouragement at the moment. xx

Deerdancer34 · 05/09/2025 09:47

@Fletchasketch Eeeep, yaaaay! Keeping everything tightly crossed for you!!

@SWMum9 That's great! Annoying they told you to just keep going...

@Gizmo1983 Good luck!!

Objectiontime · 05/09/2025 09:47

@Gizmo1983 and &Fletchasketch I wish I could have the intralipids. I have an 18 week scan next week where my consultant wants me to ask about how my placental blood flow is doing and if it is normal I am off the steroids. I want to get off them but not being able to have intralipids kind of feels like I am walking a crumbly cliff.

Fletchasketch · 05/09/2025 09:39

@Gizmo1983 thanks so much! I do wonder if I have the intralipids to thank for this pregnancy, I think I'll probably be much the same, not wanting to give them up. How are you feeling these days?

Gizmo1983 · 05/09/2025 09:24

@Fletchasketch thats awesome news keeping everything crossed 🤞
on my way for last round of intralipids, I keep saying im going to stop them then go for one more round 🤪🤪🤪

@Objectiontime thanks very much, I will take all the tips I can get. I have a positive 1-2 weeks on a digital this morning, I think it’s starting to sink in. I have appointments at the CRP on 15th Sept, so hoping I can just keep them, all being well. As you rightly said, it’s all a waiting and hoping game now.

@SWMum9 glad to hear your new meds are working well for you, hoping for some good news soon.

@Meg310532 just to say you have been in my thoughts a lot this week, I hope you’re being well cared for and am sending so much love.

@Fletchasketch Thats amazing news, congratulations. I am really happy for you and preying for success for you and all on this thread. Xxx

Hi everyone, i hope you are keeping well. Congratulations to the new pregnancies 💕

I have stopped taking hydroxy for the last 6 weeks. A private fertility specialist mentioned it could be too strong for me. I’ve posted in here a few times that since taking it I had mid cycle bleeding and never had a positive OPK when I always used to.

this month, for the first time in 4 (since on hydroxy) I have had a positive ovulation test AND no spotting. I’m so pleased 🥹 I just knew the meds weren’t agreeing with me but the nhs clinic said just to keep trying…

ivr started pred and progesterone and hoping for the best💖💖

@SWMum9 Sounds like your slightly changed regime is suiting you better so hopeful that it will being you success.

@Deerdancer34 Morning! I've had a stronger line today, though still pretty faint. Trying not to get my hopes up or think about it too much but it is damn hard! I'm going to take a digital test on Friday which would be 2 days before my period's due. I only had my last intralipids on 19th August and I believe they last 4 weeks so think I've got a bit of time before I need to tell the CRP.

Thanks to all for your good wishes, hope you're all doing well xx.

@Fletchasketch Thats great news. If you start to feel stressed or worried try some mindfulness 🧘 I would recommend it. I have everything crossed 🤞 for you hun xxx

@Objectiontime hey sweet so glad you’re doing well totally get you on being exhausted.
im 20+1 today just had my 20 week scan and still terrified everyday xxx

Oh amazing, hope the scan went well. Yep, we have take every day as it comes but it is hard.

Great to hear things are going well, and really hope you can wean off that last dose of pred! I keep hearing that pred masks symptoms, and that when you come off, they return with a vengeance. Hope you are regularly monitored throughout, as I can only imagine what the anxiety must be like.

I am good: have been taking the levothyroxine for nearly a week, and both myself and my husband have been taking the vitamins that Dr Shehata recommended (but I have reduced Co-Enzyme Q10 to 400mg a day and the DHEA to 25mg a day, as the higher doses were giving me skin problems, I'm sure).

Thank you. It is all just a waiting and hoping game for all of us isn't it.

Deerdancer34 · 02/09/2025 15:42

@Jecca88 Keeping everything crossed for you with those great numbers! When will you know more?

@Hopeandfaith1990 I realllly hope the clinic let you do it this month. Its horrible waiting or missing opportunities isn't it. When will they let you know?

@Gizmo1983 How are you feeling!?

@Fletchasketch Eep sending you over alll the positive vibes! Come on 💪 Will you wait until tomorrow to test again?

@Objectiontime I'm just so excited for you, its really lovely and I hope you are doing OK. I had an anterior placenta too, I think I started thinking 'is that baby' from about 20 weeks and could certainly feel hiccups later on in the pregnancy, so don't worry you will definitely feel as baby gets bigger I would imagine!

My news, I'm waiting for my period to start to start the letrozole but I am slightly freaking out about having more losses or an ectopic again, I really really don't want another ectopic...I am wondering whether to just do the medications and not Superovulation but then I know with PCOS, Superovulation boosts my chances. I wish my husband could do all the meds for me 😅

Sending everyone lots of love 💗

@Deerdancer34 Thank you, I still fear for things going awry but that's just pregnancy for everybody I think.
I completely understand your fears but we have to go through the pain to get the gain, painful as it is. You will come through and hopefully we can all win this fight xx

Gizmo1983 · 02/09/2025 21:36

Fletchasketch · 02/09/2025 17:34

@Deerdancer34 Thank you! I'll just test again in the morning to know whether to stay on the meds or not. I hadn't really considered testing more than once per day. Are there more reliable tests than the CB? I can't get first response round here, so CB were the next best thing.

Hope all goes well with your next cycle and the letrozole. It's such a minefield of knowing what to do for the best and worrying about what could go wrong isn't it? Sending some good vibes back at you. x

Firstly, a huge apology from me, I have been rather lax in my communication of late! So, in jo particular order...

@Hopeandfaith1990 am so hopeful for you ongoing. I know it is a huge stress waiting to get going with the next chance, I was in and off pred for 7 months before this positive but got there eventually.

@Jecca88 Everything crossed for you. Your results are excellent so there is a lot of hope there,

@Deerdancer34 and @TammyinCork Are you are both doing okay?

@Meg310532 Still reeling from your news hun! and still lost for words at your loss. I would ask if you are okay but that would be a bloody stupid question!! Sending you so much love and hugs though

@Gizmo1983 Hope all is well for you. Thinking you are about 20 weeks now? Hope your head is not still giving you issues.

@Fletchasketch Oh Looking good, good luck for the next test. Very exciting !

For me, I am pretty large for 17 weeks! and completely exhausted. Still on 5 mg pred and have a scan next week. If they can check blood flow to placenta and it looks okay I can come off, if not I will have to stay on it. I really want to get a flu jab so I want to get off if I can asap as I think it takes a month to get out of the system.

Love to you all, including those I havent mentioned specifically.

Ps. I have a liw anterior placenta, which is annoying as movement is likely to be masked, which will add to the worry.

@Hopeandfaith1990 oh thank you! It’s a CB ultra early, apparently not the most reliable but last month’s was stark white so there’s a clear difference. Trying to be ‘que sera sera’, but it’s so difficult. Hope the pain is easing up for you now xx

TW: possible pregnancy

Well I’m 10DPO, and have just done a test to see if I need to carry on the medication. I think it’s a faint positive. Honestly, feeling no excitement, just dread and haven’t even told my partner who left for work at 6. I hate that we have to test so early for this, previously I’ve always had blazing positives when my period was late. Will continue meds and test again tomorrow, it could well be a false alarm. If any of you have any positive vibes going spare, I’ll take them please. Xx

All the good vibes coming your way lovely. Which test did you use? Hoping it’s not a false alarm and this is your time. I know what you mean re testing early. Just gives us more time to live with the anxiety of a positive. I so wish it was different for all of us. X sending love
