I know what you mean @Wingingitlife once i started bbt charting I feel more confident and relaxed that im ovulating regularly. We dtd 2-O so don't think I'll concieve and feeling chilled about it. Im 8dpo

Had some light brown spotting on and off today - these first weeks are so nerve wracking. Just hoping it doesn't turn into anything more than spotting 🤞🏼

That's good news @Wingingitlife that your cycle is nice and regular. I'm sorry your job is causing stress though, is it always stressful or just a stressful period?

my af came yesterday. I’m not mad about it either because it was exactly 15 days from the day I thought I’d ovulated so I feel like that’s a good sign that im ovulating and that I’m getting my dates right. Gives me hope for next month. We only dtd twice last month so I can’t really be that mad.

the only thing I’m worried about at the minute is that I have a highly stressful job which is affecting me and affecting my sleep at the minute. I’m really hoping that doesn’t affect my chances!

Been totally absent from this thread as life has been life-ing but I'm 12dpo today and just had a feeling to take a test!

Very early days but so happy to see a BFP this is the quickest I've conceived! At this ripe old age 🤣

Awh man… I was hoping it was a sign haha but my cm seems to have dried up a bit today so defo think af is on her way!

Im not great with charts but mine did that last month, I had a dip then it raised for a few days then AF came.

Im 6dpo and my temp has sku rocketed. Its usually 36.7 ish in my luteal phase but its been over 37 the last few days and FF doesn't believe them 😂

This is my very very erratic bbt chart. I’ve only been tracking my temps since 20/8 as my acupuncturist suggested it. She said it’s erratic because I’ve been having broken sleep for pretty much the whole of my luteal phase (not sure why as I usually sleep well most of the time but for the last two weeks my sleep has been horrific, this is my first “proper” cycle since coming off iud so don’t know if it’s just my hormones). Anyway I believe I may have ovulated on the 22/8. Didn’t really get an lh peak but I didn’t last month either and got the bfp so I must be ovulating. Think I’ve got a really quick surge.
got a bfn on Wednesday. Yesterday my temp dropped so I was certain that af in on its way and didn’t test. Expected it to stay down or be lower today but it’s back up!

Any thoughts? I’m a little confused!

Oh that’s clever @Kittybwayive been using the Premom app, it’s quite similar really as you take a photo of the opk and it logs it and charts it for you xx

I only started last month! I upload photos of my opks and they tell me when my peak is, and I screen shot my bbt chart for them. Im using ic opks and find them really hard to read

@Kittybwaycan i ask you how you use ChatGPT for fertility stuff? I’m such a millennial I know 😂 still just google everything 😂 x

@Wingingitlife easier said that done isn't it! I dont test till my period is late but I ask chat gpt 10 times a day if in pregnant, be probably less stressful to test!!

@KittybwayI beleive I am 11dpo and absolutely driving myself mad this month 🙈 I bought some wondfo hcg strips last month and I wish I hadn’t because I’ve tested everyday from 7dpo which I know is absolutely stupid really 🙈 all bfn so I’ve got myself all down about it 🙈 next month I’m ditching the tests until I miss my period (or at least going to try!) x

Chat gpt and FF think I ovulated on Saturday so I'm 2dpo but waiting for a few more temps to confirm. Thst means we only dtd 2-O as DP was away which i was expecting so hopefully won't be driving myself mad in the tww!

Hi @Mismatci am 40 and stopped BFing my 3 year old last month. Like you, it took a while for my LP to start lengthening out. Keep going and try to limit the stress and it will happen for you. I did fall pregnant 3 times whilst breastfeeding. One was a chemical, another a molar pregnancy and the last was an early MC. I am very early in pregnancy at the moment and hope this one sticks! Good luck, you will get there. This would be my 4th if it all works out x

@Mismatcwe are at a similar stage! I have been referred to fertility. Got a telephone appt on the 8th Sept. So just going to see if there is anything else they do test wise, or ovulation induction etc before we consider private ivf! Hope your referral doesn't take too long. All very positive your tests have come back good.

My little boy is 21 months, although we have mostly giving up feeding 🥲 just the odd feed before bed. His night feeds stopped at 18 months.

It sounds as though your cycle is pretty regular. I hope it's just a case of it's taking a bit longer for us this time round? I fell pregnant with him first time so understand the frustration and heartache. Would love a little sibling for him and I'm 38 now so time isn't on my side xx

Hi ladies! I’m 4dpo, I’m absolutely wiped out today, had to take a nap which is not me at all! My boobs have been sore too. I’m guessing this is my progesterone rising after ovulation? It’s been sooooo long since I had a proper period I’m struggling to ever remember feeling like this 😆 anyone else get this around this time?

We have had the initial tests with the GP and are just waiting for the referral to the fertility clinic to go through. Even though we will need to pay privately, it seems that this clinic like a referral from the GP. My hormones were normal despite BF but I had cut down feeds at the time and am back to in demand now. However, despite on demand feeding my ovulation was day 14 this month so I feel like my hormones have stayed normal. I track with OPKs but I don’t temp as I don’t get enough sleep for accurate readings 🫠

I’m so sorry to hear of your losses, I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it has been for you. How old is your nursling and how often are they feeding?

@Mismatcwelcome to the group! I'm so sorry you've been struggling to concieve, it really does get harder each month doesn't it? Have you been tracking with OPKs?
Do you think it's worth speaking with your GP about maybe getting some bloods done and whatever else they can offer just to check everything is as it should be. Before you consider stopping feeding? BF mumma here too. So I completely feel you. So desperately wanting to get pregnant but not wanting to deprive your baby of their milk and comfort. It's hard.

Also you can feel incredibly grateful to have your 3 darlings and still ache for another. 🤍

@Kittybway they are now 28 days but did take a while to get there with delayed ovulation and short luteal phases at first. We’ve seen the GP and had some initial tests, looking at private fertility treatment now. We still have to wait for our GP referral to go through even though we will need to self-fund

I’m so sorry you have to miss a cycle, I’d be so upset. Hopefully it will be a nice enforced month off thinking about it

Are your cycles quite regular now? It does consume you so much trying to concieved. Have you seen a fertility specialist?
