Anyone just started their dreaded 2WW ? 👀👋🏼

Morning girls, that’s it really, looking for 2WW buddies to get through the longest part of the ttc cycles !
I’m 1DPO, cycle 8 for a first baby 🤞🏼

to be fair I’m very much the same so I can torally
understand, this is cycle 8 for me, first baby, and every 2WW I try and find positives of having a negative so I’m not so disappointed.
it only takes 1 time ! Peak day is actually great cause it’s one day before ovulation and it’s the highest chances to conceive !
we only DTD 2 days before and 1 day before, I wish we had done O day too but I feel like we are all way too hard on ourselves to be honest !
let’s just see how it goes. I’m on the lowest dose of antidepressant (like half of the lowest) for a burnout earlier this year and I often blame myself for being on medicine even though I was told it was ok to ttc.
the mental load is real isn’t it

@lalalalalala2024 I know what you mean about not wanting to be disappointed because it's so hard to get your hopes up month on month and see negatives. But even doing it the day after you can still catch. Peak means you will ovulate within 12-24 hours I believe!
I fall down the trap of googling and reading forums and it's not good.

what do you mean you started testing too late ? When did you DTD comparing to your peak ? Not all hope is lost !!

i think I’m just gearing myself up to a negative so I don’t disappoint myself lol I tested the Saturday morning and it was already peak so we only dtd that night !
I’ve been watching so many TikTok videos of others TTC journeys too

Just counting down the days here, I can’t believe how long this feels 😂 I have a bunch of spots on my face but that’s what sometimes happens with ovulation 😅 I already know I’m out this month and will try again next month as I started testing too late

@Lh4503exactly there’s nothing else you can do and it’s out of your control. I sometimes feel ovulation is more stressful as you want to get as much DTD in that timeframe but we aren’t the type to DTD everyday! We DTD 2 days before and 1 day before….
im ok tbf !
this month is very odd for me as I usually have a little bit of EWCM but this month I took loads of supplements (just vitamins really) and my EWCM was very there which I think is. A good sign for fertility!

@WF1990 I'm 12dpo today, so the emotions are high anyway this close to AF, I think that's the worst bit.

Yes your absolutely right, I couldn't have done more and I can't control the outcome. I'm torn between testing tomorrow morning and just waiting it out to see if the spotting gets worse. It's still a small amount of brown and it's only when I wipe so I'm keeping everything crossed at this point🤞🤞

@Lh4503I think you should take comfort in the sense that thee is NOTHING more you could have done! And spotting and cramping mid luteal phase sounds to me more like spotting !!! How many dpo are you ?

Morning @WF1990 I know that first week is a killer, your nearly half way through it though 🙂

Nothing majorly different to report here either, still spotting slightly, I have mild cramping which does feel like AF is going to start soon so im trying to just think yes it's starting and mentally prepare 😆

I felt so confident this month too we DTD 3 days before, the day before, the day of and the day after. It was the one month I've felt like I literally couldn't have got it more spot on. 🤣

3dpo for me, some lower back cramps but as progesterone rises it’s quite normal for me at this stage ! Wouldn’t attribute any symptoms before implantation anyways. This first week is sooooo long !

@WF1990 oh no did you, yes it's better to just think you have started AF isn't it. The heartache is rubbish. Your so strong to not have tested!!

@Lh4503 I had spotting for 2 days last month before my period and I’m pretty sure could have been a chemical because I never get spotting ever but I didn’t test and in insight I’m pretty glad I didn’t because it’s not worth the heartache !
I really hope this is it for you ! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it’s very early in your LP as you have 4 days left so could totally be in line with implantation !

@WF1990 yes it could and on my chemical in May I started spotting day 10 too. Very similar symptoms. But I’ve also had spotting on other non-pregnant cycles and tbh after the chemical when I see spotting/blood now I panic slightly. 😬 I didn't have spotting with my first.

My lutealphase is usually exactly 14 days.

I will keep you updated!

Omg i know, you guys are in the hardest part. Hopefully time hurries up!

I feel like AF and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar for many women! I never had a child but when I had my chemical my symptoms were just the same as AF so it’s so hard to tell!
gosh I wish this first week went faster…!

11 dpo today for me and I'm starting to feel really moody and rubbish in myself 👎

Sore boobs for 2/3 days now and other small symptoms on and off like the usual mild backache, mild cramps, nausea etc. Some slight spotting has started today so just hoping it's not the start of AF. I'm usually like clockwork and come on the exact day my Flo app says so hopefully it doesn't get any heavier 🫠

Pleaseeeee be my month 🤣 hope your all doing okay!! Keep powering through that TWW.

@lalalalalala2024i can totally relate to the 482 ovulation sticks on peak day 😂 and the day after for me! To check wether the day before was indeed the peak 🤣
2DPO over here. Obviously nothing to report ! I anticipate to have my usual pms / progesterone symptoms later on this week (painful boobs and lower back!)

@Lh4503thank you ! I kept telling myself I’m not going to become obsessed but the day of my peak I must’ve took 4 ovulation tests in that one day 😂 I will more than likely test next week Friday/Saturday too, I’m busy with work and 6 week holidays the other days

I always try to wait until AF is due but to be honest I'm probably going to test around 12/13 dpo but no earlier. So that will be Friday/Saturday for me!

So many people around me are pregnant and my daughter keeps asking when im going to have another baby too, I feel your pain 🤣

@EmPeEfi have no idea as I don’t use bbt ! Did your CM change after the supposed ovulation on 11/12 July ? Mine goes back to thick and creamy straight after ovulation . If that helps

Had a dip in my BBT today. Could it be oestrogen surge? Would that mean I’m more likely to be 5dpo like FF says? My peak OV test happened at 1am on the 11th so I could have OV later that day.

Anyone just started their dreaded 2WW ? 👀👋🏼

@WF1990i think I am going to wait as close to when AF is due, however I might cave and do it around 12dpo/13dpo. I am meant to be going out with a friend at 12dpo so will probably do it the day after
