Morning girls, that’s it really, looking for 2WW buddies to get through the longest part of the ttc cycles !
I’m 1DPO, cycle 8 for a first baby 🤞🏼

Hey all! Bit of a lurker coming to join in!
13dpo today and a lot of symptoms that aren't my usual pms, but have managed to hold out on testing. Terrified of a negative so feel like if I don't test then I won't be let down!
Didn't try this month as decided to take 2 months off after a chemical, but looking back we DTD at the exact right time, so unfortunately my mind is a mess again even though it's meant to be a break!

@Lh4503yes so I have pcos, I’ve had it for years but my period is regular so it’s pretty well controlled although 3 years ago I had probably 4 period a year. I’m under the care of the hospital
so my consultant let us ttc for 6 months and then I just did progesterone test on day 7 post ovulation (although I can never know for sure whether I was 7 or 6 dpo!). But I think even without any hormonal issues you can request this with your gp! You just need to go at 7dpo ( or day 21 for ppl with a 28 day cycle but mine isn’t 28 days).
from what I read I am just on the limit but it does show that I ovulated.
common symptoms of low progesterone would be spotting way before period I think and after period from what I’ve read but I’m not a doctor !

@WF1990 Just curious about the progesterone testing, im assuming it was a blood test? Did you say you weren't producing enough a while ago? Does that mean it can fluctuate? I'm worried mines not high enough, I cant get it off my mind x

No I didn’t test, the timing lined up so I knew there was a chance but I had just started a new job after being made redundant so I was occupied thankfully! It was probably for the best because I wouldn’t have been eligible for company or statutory maternity pay but I will be from the cycle onwards hence why we’re now actively trying ☺️

oh that’s interesting, do you normally spot before AF comes? It’s very early for her at 9dpo, sounds positive to me 😁

well I was thinking of waiting until Saturday but I went to the toilet and I am spotting beige / brown …! Nothing in my underwear (tmi) but just on the toilet paper ! I’m 9dpo so could either be implantation or spotting before period 😂 basically ANYTHING points to both outcomes at that point

It’s so hard not to test isn’t it! I’m trying to play it cool with dp but I’m really not playing it cool at all 🤣 are you planing on waiting to see if AF comes before testing again? I hate the wait for AF! She’s due on Monday/Tuesday for me, I suspect I had a chemical last month (unbeknown to me) because my cycles are usually a very regular 28 days but she came on CD 31 and then I suspect I ovulated at CD11 this month which is early for me. My LP is usually 12 days so I’m assuming she’s due Monday but I don’t really know what’s going tbh!

@EllieWalesit could be implantation still but hcg takes time to build up ?! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 8dpo is still sooo early. I tested this morning at 9dpo too and stark white 😂 so much for the girl who said she’d wait until Friday 😅 AF due on Saturday for me so I guess I will have my answer soon!

Morning I tested this morning at 8 dpo and of course, stark bfn! I don’t know why I thought there would be something I just couldn’t resist 🤣 the cramping has extended to my lower back and is still very there this morning. It feels the same as I would get the day before/first day of my period and is unusual this early before. Nothing else to report other than sustained elevated RHR but this is typical for me and usually drops a day or two before AF is due. Another day of symptom spotting and driving myself around the bend ahead 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I just came home , haven’t tested yet but today my boobs have been horrendous and I’m sweating so so bad ! I had a shower and still sweating ! Either way this is a good sign for me meaning I do produce enough progesterone as this was kind of a worry of mine as a year ago I wasn’t :)

Sounds promising @EllieWales!!! 🤞🏼 could totally be the beginning of implantation.

ive had this pulling cramping sensation on the right for days but i cant see whether it happened to me in previous cycles. But my boobs … my god. Painful and burning ? I’m pretty sure my boobs are never that sore.
arggg so long to wait … my period is due on Saturday so I’m now thinking of maybe just waiting until it arrives and if not test on Sunday …!

I’m tried to downplay it but I’m definitely cramping today at 7dpo, I feel like it’s early for implantation but who knows. Cramping at this stage of my cycle is very unusual for me especially cramping that persists through the day

Thank you — and you're right, it's so hard to stay grounded in the first month. Just to clarify, though, I think I'm only about 10 DPO today, not 15. I had a possible ovulation around the 12th or 13th July based on symptoms and tracking, so I’m still within the early testing window. The brown discharge started around 9 DPO, which seems early for a period for me (I’ve not had proper cycles for years due to being on the pill). I had a tiny bit of red this morning, but nothing since. So I guess it’s a waiting game… but you're so right — I need to let go a little and trust that it may take time. Thank you again for the kindness 🫶

Hi @Seasaltandgrassdo you know when you ovulated and if so how many days past ovulation you are? Some of the symptoms you’ve recorded might be significant if they align with implantation dates. Fingers crossed for you ☺️

Haha yes, the mind games are real! I keep going between “this must mean something” and “I’m making it all up” every few hours. I get why you're trying to ignore symptoms — it's almost easier than riding the highs and lows. 9 DPO is a tricky place to be. I'm currently around 10 DPO and really wanted to wait, but I ended up testing this morning and it was a dye-smeared mess 😩 (so frustrating). I totally understand wanting to tell your husband on his birthday — that would be such a special moment! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 let me know how it goes!
