@hollyhocks2no peak yet but i feel it on the rise my lh is a little above baseline everyday so i think its building, had lots of symptoms and we’ve dtd every other day so far so hopefully done enough❤️

hollyhocks2 · 12/07/2025 09:37

@Mummysparrow and @sarahspeaking that's amazing!

@megan345 did you get your peak? @EmPeEf are you 1DPO? I'm 3DPO now. According to the SMEP we should DTD again today. I guess that's in case ov is later than you thought?

@ChaE05 @DorsetGirl89 I was wondering about this too! My GP said day 21 for my blood test, so I obediently booked it for then, I'll be 8DPO on day 21, do you think that's ok? Obviously only 1 day off so surely fine?!

CinnamonBuns67 · 12/07/2025 07:23

@ChaE05@SureLook Thank you for the reassurance ladies

LunarBear · 12/07/2025 06:46

@SureLookyeah figure best to start it all, time is precious haha!

SureLook · 12/07/2025 06:20

@LunarBear sounds like a good idea to get the ball rolling.

LunarBear · 12/07/2025 01:36

So im not tracking ovulation this cycle, requested by partner haha, but im cd24 and normally my cycle is around 26 days. Yesterday started with a couple light tugging cramps and today I just feel like AF is on her way. I know its not over until she appears but not confident this time. Ive reached the 6 month mark so once AF is here I'll book appt with drs to start fertility checks etc.

SureLook · 12/07/2025 01:23

@rainbowsnack welcome and good luck!

@CinnamonBuns67 I agree with what the other girls have said. I'd say another couple of months and you'll be sorted. Not exactly the same thing but after my MMC my luteal phase was shorter too. I think it's just everything regulating and balancing out again.

ChaE05 · 11/07/2025 22:15

@CinnamonBuns67i would say it might take a couple of months for your body to adjust ☺️ my luteal phase is only 11 days. It was shorter due to breastfeeding but managed to lengthen it with supplements and probably because baby boy was taking less milk. I think 11 is okay, and I did manage to concieve twice with it being shorter, unfortunately they ended in mc. But it can be done ! X

Mummysparrow · 11/07/2025 21:33

@CinnamonBuns67i reckon another month or two and your cycles should be back to normal 🙂 even though 11 days luteal phase is deemed short I would say for some that is long enough to get pregnant. I have a 14 day luteal phase but just found out I was pregnant at 9dpo. Of course it depends on when your body implants

That's amazing congratulations 🙂 I do hope so 🤞

Mummysparrow · 11/07/2025 21:12

@CinnamonBuns67when did you have your implant taken out? Your body may just be regulating itself so I would say keep monitoring it

16th May day 1 of 1st cycle as AF arrived morning of appointment so not long ago. Before I was a straight 28 day cycle, ovulate day 14 or 15 and AF arrived bang on schedule. I was on it almost 9 years so makes sense I guess, hopefully next luteal phase will be a bit longer so I can (even if no positive pregnancy test) at least see things getting a bit more normal.

I'm out for this cycle as AF started this evening. Now CD1 of cycle 3. Little worried though about something and don't know if there's someone who has been through something similar I had my implant taken out and on cycle 1 my luteal phase was only 9 days long, cycle 2 luteal phase was 11 days long so a bit shorter than it should be. Is this something I should be worried about or is it just my hormones balancing back out and I'm being daft?

rainbowsnack · 11/07/2025 19:56

Hi,

New to the thread. We're just starting our TTC this month, due to ovulate in about 3 days so we'll see where it takes us 😊hopefully a BFP next month but I'm expecting it to a take a while as I turned 37 at the start of the month.

@DoubleDandelion fingers crossed for that BFP 🤞🏻

overwork · 11/07/2025 14:04

@DorsetGirl89that really is dedication to the cause. Though, will a tent really be any cooler?!?

DoubleDandelion · 11/07/2025 14:00

@DorsetGirl89 thank you so much that is great info, AND has given me renewed hope! I have been pregnant before but with ID twins so all the symptoms were to an extreme as the egg split somewhere between days 4-8 (we know this due to their shared placenta), it feels like I’m doing this all again for the first time as I know the experience will be very different with a singleton. But the comparison is not making me feel very hopeful!

@SureLook AF due Mon/Tues (I ov-ed CD 14 and tend to have a 29-30 day cycle), I felt the same as you really, will FRER tomorrow and go from there I suppose but @DorsetGirl89 has given me some hope between now and Mon!

@overwork i think you were a DPO day ahead of me, it was bloody hot for our last fertile window too wasn’t it?! I’m never one to wish away nice weather buttttt…. 😂

megan345 · 11/07/2025 13:42

i think i’ll be peaking tomorrow❤️

amey44 · 11/07/2025 13:41

Hoping I peak tonight🤞🏻I’m honestly really enjoying tracking so far it’s actually nice to see my body actually doing something for once instead of seeing stark white negative hcg tests lol

@amey44 ah, sometimes life gets in the way doesn't it? It can be hard to get the timing right!

@EmPeEf just lie there and let him do all the work 😂

@Papill19 try not to worry. HCG only doubles roughly every 48 hours. If you're going to continue to test I would test every second day. But remember that line progression doesn't mean anything in terms of the viability of the pregnancy unfortunately.

@Mummysparrow looking good!

@DoubleDandelion when is AF due? Generally at 12dpo I would take the result as the definite answer but there are some people who've gotten their BFP later!

@DorsetGirl89 I haven't had a chemical myself but from reading other girls experience on here it seems their cycles were a bit unsettled post chemical. Ovulating earlier or later than usual. I think it can take time for things to settle. Maybe contact your GP for advice on when to do the bloods.

@sarahspeaking amazing, congratulations ❤️

@ForGiddyDreamer @overwork sorry to hear AF has arrived ❤️
