i can have ewcm for multiple days before, this cycle i first noted ewcm on the 4th and i’m still waiting to ovulate🤣🥴

For those who test, how long after EWCM do you find you ovulate if you don’t mind me asking? I thought it was a few days after but reading some of these maybe not!

i would think it may be a bit high, but obviously just keep an eye on it, i usually have ov pain near my pubic bone & a fullness/pressure in that area x

Very localised stabbing pain an inch below my belly button on the left hand side this morning. Is that too high for OV pain or a good sign? If my peak was 1am Friday, so over 48 hours ago, is that too long? My EWCM only appeared yesterday afternoon.
We BD’d whilst the pain was happening anyway so 🤞🏻

I’ve had two months testing throughout with LH strips. I didn’t get an obvious peak on last month, but I did get a rise followed by my temp suggested OV. This month I got a clear peak on a different brand. I feel like I need both to be sure what’s happened.

I think a cycle longer than 30 days suggests your body may have tried more than once before OV occurred. You may still get a peak. I’m going to continue to test.

@amey44 I wonder did you get your peak on CD11 but maybe it didn't recognise it cause the lighting is a bit off in some of the tests. But as @hollyhocks2 said it could be from being really hydrated and I would definitely keep testing.

Anything from 28-38 but recently i’ve been having 30-32 so that’s why i’m kinda hoping I ovulate earlier 🤞🏻Gosh that is long hopefully you get your peak soon it’s so frustrating isn’t it and this is only my first month testing properly x

how long on average are your cycles? mine are long too, currently cd 26 and still no ovulation🙃 my peaks usually register on premom at 1.25-1.45 and the test line is always darker than control, however i have a gradual build up so as long as i test at any point that day i wouldn’t miss it, whereas some people have a rapid peak meaning they could miss it by a couple of hours xx

I have but always give up because my cycles are long so i’ve never caught a peak. I’m guessing that too I just hope it’s soon as I won’t be able to BD any later as i’m really busy for a few days next week x

have you ever tested with these tests before lovely? for me personally my peak is unquestionable if that makes sense, i think its possible you’re still gearing up!!xx

Do you think that test was my peak? when I adjust the toggles it reads as 0.85 ? I’m going to keep testing incase it wasn't but idk if for now that looks like my peak

@amey44 you can adjust those sliders to better represent what you see.

I think OV can happen up to 36 hours after a peak, so EECM can definitely come later once the tests are getting lighter. That’s what’s happened to me so far this month. I’m just waiting on my BBT to see whether I OV or not.

@hollyhocks2 I’m either 1dpo or it’s today. Going to try and squeeze a BD in tonight and then I’m on my own. So just hoping for a ride on BBT and not a second attempt at OV when my partner isn’t here next week 🤞🏻

@hollyhocks2Its so frustrating I only had a coffee before I tested so I think my levels just dropped annoyingly. I’m guessing I peaked really fast and missed it or my body decided not to ovulate which is soooo annoying;(
@megan345I do think it’s possible i’m gearing up for ov as my cycles vary in length is it normal for tests to vary so much? Also the app measures my darkest test as 0.61 however the line was much darker than what it shows it as on the app so idk if it’s read it wrong even though I know it’s still slightly lighter than the control line?

Oh no @amey44 that is really frustrating... you tested 4 times on day 11 so I really would have expected the lines to continue to get darker after the first two, and for that to have been your peak, confirmed on day 12. For it to go back to light so quickly is surprising to me, but I'm not very experienced, only my 4th cycle using premom. Had you drunk loads of water in the afternoon? I wonder could it be your body tried to ovulate and then didn't and will try again in a few days? You'll have to just keep testing at least once a day and see what happens. So annoying!

I’m literally so confused ladies!!! I’ve had ewcm today and yesterday but my lh strips are now getting lighter😖what the hell is going on shouldn’t ewcm mean i’m fertile?

Hi all! Joining this thread. 3rd cycle for #2, had a MC last month at 7 weeks but pregnancy stopped developing at 5 weeks. Period returned beginning of this month so ovulation due in the next few days! Not a massive talker on here but find the chat so reassuring and helpful, wishing for BFP for you all xx

Well a BFN on FRER this morning at 13DPO, so I’m accepting that I’m out this cycle. AF due Mon or Tues (hopefully, so we can get started again!).

Congrats on all the BFPs this cycle, seems like there have been a lot 😍 I’m off to spend the day sitting in the sunshine and consoling myself with a nice cold 🍹

@hollyhocks2yes that will be fine! I did a private one on 7dpo and it came back at 54.2. Then when the GP did one I could only get there on 6dpo and it came back at 54.6. So barely a difference between the two x
