@hollyhocks2very happy for you and really pray this is your rainbow baby 🌈 I had 2 losses back to back and currently on my 5th cycle since then. We were trying for 3 months before the mcs. Nobody has ever mentioned progesterone to me. I have always worried that was my issue. Partner has his semen analysis on Tues. Gives me hope hearting stories like yours! How old are you? I'm 38 so that's also probably a big factor for me x

ThatNimbleOP · 20/07/2025 11:34

My period started about 1 hour ago….devastated but also realising your mind can absolutely play tricks on you, really thought I was!!

On the plus side, this is the most hormonal period I’ve had since they returned PP and I’m actually having mild cramps. Periods whilst breastfeeding were completely crampless and I barely had much PMS. Hoping this is all a good sign and hormones are gearing up again!!!

So exhausted though, month 10 TTC. 2 weeks since stopping breastfeeding…maybe 5th proper cycle trying.

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 11:28

Thank you guys. Yes @ChaE05 we took a break of 4 cycles and then restarted TTC. This is the 5th cycle since then. Just hope against hope that this one sticks. Maybe I'll be one of those women who gets lucky once they start investigations. Haven't had any test results back yet but I know the GP will be happy for me to go on progesterone now so I'll get that sorted tomorrow.

@overwork sorry to hear you're feeling unwell. That sounds like a nasty dose!

@BambinaBoo best of luck!

@DorsetGirl89 I know. It's a bit strange cause everything you read says you won't see a BFP until a couple of days after implantation bleeding. Mine was pink. Nothing in my knickers, just there when I wiped. I didn't have a clue on my first pregnancy, I thought it was my period. But on my second one it's what prompted me to test when I saw it and it was positive.
Yeah, that is annoying. I drink a lot of water too and it's good to be hydrated, especially at this time. Tomorrow morning it is so!

Thanks, Overwork!

@BambinaBoo some people start testing from 8dpo but you may not have even implanted by then. Early testing became a very negative experience for me so I try and hold out until 12dpo minimum. You're more likely to get a fairly accurate result by then and there's no wondering and hopes building to then be disappointed. When is AF due?

@ThatNimbleOP well done on holding out with the testing 👏🏻 when is AF due? I knew I was pregnant on my third pregnancy (blighted ovum) before I tested. I was emotional, tired and my stomach was rock hard. The biggest giveaway though was a craving for McDonald's 😂

AF due 27th! I’ve got a couple of tests so going to try 9DPO then 12DPO. Thanks for your advice!

overwork · 20/07/2025 09:28

Oh it’s wonderful seeing all these positives coming through!
Well we definitely won’t be having an April baby, the weather kindly turned cooler for me, (I don’t test but I guess I will ovulate today), but I’ve got some virus thing, started on Friday with sweats, achy limbs, fatigue and a headache / dizziness that I couldn’t shake. I feel slightly more with it today but I’m so achy and exhausted still, and also have back ache which, coupled with EWCM last few days, is what makes me think I’m ovulating today.
Best of look to those testing again today, would love to see even more good news!

Hey, DG!

It is SO difficult waiting but I’m gonna hold off until Tuesday which will be 9DPO.

I am experiencing cramping, a slightly raised temperature & increased urination (TMI, sorry!).

Hello everyone,

13DPO, or 12DPO…(really need to start temping!) AF not arrived yet.

Has anyone just had a feeling they were pregnant. Had it with my first and weirdly just “knew” yesterday but then the feeling left a few hours later 😂 bodies are so weird. Either way not woken up to red this morning but plenty of time for that. Not testing!!

If no period by next Wednesday I’ll test. No more intense cramping though, was only a couple of days.

Yes! I just feel different somehow. My tummy is a little better today but still a raised temperature & feeling quite flushed. Increased urination too (TMI, sorry!).

SureLook · 20/07/2025 09:17

@DorsetGirl89 sounds promising. Once you start testing it's hard to stop! I've had implantation bleeding twice and tested positive the same day so you never know, you could test positive by the end of the day.

@hollyhocks2oh wow 🥰 I bloody love seeing these bfps! I completely understand how you will be feeling. Pregnancy after loss definitely takes the shine off it a little. But right now you're pregnant 😍 so you've been trying since your last 2 losses? How long has that been x

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 08:21

I'm all caught up now! You busy lot!

@YKM2829 I think we must be pretty much cycle sisters, if you were 9/10DPO on Friday? I was 9DPO then. I was thinking to test again in 2 days but as you've found it can just create stress thinking of you.

@Taysonic you've been going through the most horrendous time. Totally understandable to take a massive pause at this point, probably very sensible. You need to rest, heal, process, grieve, and then start to get your life back. The cost of all this can be huge can't it thinking of you.

@Nightshift110 you're on the rollercoaster too! Argh. It's a minefield! Fingers crossed for you.

@DorsetGirl89 your story is very moving, what a lot for one woman to carry. I really really wish you all the best, that you have caught this cycle and that the pregnancy-safe treatment works beautifully for you.

@EmPeEf eek!! Well, watch this space I guess! Everything crossed.

@Kerrylf sorry you're not feeling hopeful now, all hope is not lost though.

@boredinmy30s congratulations! Wonderful BFP. There's nothing quite like your first positive pregnancy test. Gorgeous!

EmPeEf · 20/07/2025 08:19

@hollyhocks2 congrats, that’s a great line! Fingers crossed it sticks for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

hollyhocks2 · 20/07/2025 08:00

I've had a busy few days with family celebrations which was an excellent distraction at the end of the TWW.

I'm 11DPO today and I have a faint but clear second line (is more pink than it looks in the photo). After my two early losses in autumn/winter I feel very cautious. I'm pleased but not elated, I'm not anxious but I can't say I'm excited either. It's a weird feeling. I know you'll all understand. Let's see what the next couple of weeks bring I guess!

Hi, everyone.

7 DPO here experiencing cramping & a raised temperature. TTC. How is everyone doing now? When would everyone recommend I take an ultra early test from?

Iris2024 · 20/07/2025 00:30

@ForGiddyDreamer Awww yes my love, we are off to Greece next Saturday and AF is due at the end of the holiday. Would be nice for it not to come but I won’t hold my breath 🫣🤣 I totally understand your frustration and I’m sure you will be fine and hopefully 🙏 your partner will come home and be in for another cycle.

@SureLook Thank you ☺️

@boredinmy30s Congratulations Darling! How exciting!! How long have you been trying for?
