Oh DG, sending love. Must be very triggering from before but try to remember you don't know that it is that yet. Could be a normal period and a shortish cycle. But that of course will be very disappointing in its own way. Or could be a freak tummy cramp nothing to worry about. So so stressful though ❤️ I'll be thinking of you today

@Taysonic that's funny! Sorry for the confusion haha. Thanks for the crossed fingers. The waiting game doesn't end does it?

Keep us posted @DorsetGirl89 and @YKM2829

@Kerrylf really good news that your tests are normal.

Taysonic · 21/07/2025 10:46

Oh @YKM2829 I'm thinking of you and keeping all my fingers crossed. This waiting and limbo is so tough and frustrating. Your head must be all over the place. Hold on to hope where you can. Although I know how you must want to protect yourself, the odds are on your side.

@DorsetGirl89 Hope blood tests go well today, hopefully they'll get the results to you quickly so you don't have to wait for long. My hospital has about a 1-2 hour turnaround on hcg blood results.

@hollyhocks2 weirdly, your username is VERY similar to my real name. So I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not you! Ha ha. But it's all sounding really positive. Keeping fingers crossed! And hope these first few weeks pass quickly.

@LuckyDuck93 Ive always admired your hcg test resilience! If and when I feel ready to try again, I'm going to take a much more relaxed approach I think. Largely because I know I'm a stress head but also because, if I do get pregnant again, I'd want to find out as late as possible... If that makes sense. I want to find out when there's more of a chance it'll be successful. And not have so much of the early anxiety. Easier said than done though! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Sorry been quiet, nothing going on over here. CD9 today and started OPKs because I have EWCM. Ovulated on CD14 last month so may be a bit premature. CD14 this month my husband is away for the night because he’s going on an all-dayer 🙃 so guessing he’ll be out of action on the Sunday too, how crazy would it be to ask him not to drink 😖 He goes out only a couple of times a year so feels a bit OTT but equally we only have a few days each month to maximise chances!

LuckyDuck93 · 21/07/2025 09:23

Hi ladies, just catching up after the weekend.
Congratulations to everyone with BFPs!

@Taysonic I'm so so sorry, you must be mentally and physically exhausted, sending you the biggest hug, look after yourself ❤

I'm finally 1DPO today, didn't manage to catch a huge peak on LH tests but it did rise & temp is way up this morning. Think i've decided if it doesnt work this cycle im not going to LH test next cycle, ive been psychopathic about it this month trying to catch the peak, for someone who has the willpower to not pregnancy test until a missed period, wow I do not posses that willpower with LH tests, they drive me mad! Next cycle will just dtd until my temp goes up!

Hope the rest of you are all doing ok x

Kerrylf · 21/07/2025 09:20

@SureLook I think I will bring it up at my appointment on Wednesday and see what they say :)

Kerrylf · 21/07/2025 09:19

@DorsetGirl89 I hope everything goes ok today, thinking of you!x

SureLook · 21/07/2025 09:13

@Kerrylf that's good the results were normal. Can you ring and ask about the progesterone?

@Starlightnights welcome! I'm so sorry about your loss. Throw those CBs in the bin. I don't know how they are still allowed to be sold. Try and get pink dye tests instead. They're more reliable.

@Nightshift110 yeah, you could be out by a few days then. What are you thinking? Will you test again?

@YKM2829 I'm sorry it's all so uncertain. I would wait to use the CB digital for another few days like you say. Could you get bloods done anywhere to check HCG levels?

@PinkLineDreams11 I can see something at the very bottom of the test. I wouldn't take that as a positive cause it would need to be consistently thick the whole way. How many dpo are you?

Thinking of you today @YKM2829 x

Mummysparrow · 21/07/2025 07:39

@PinkLineDreams11thay looks like a fault test unfortunately due to the line being partial. I would recommend you do another test

ForGiddyDreamer · 21/07/2025 07:39

@YKM2829 i think waiting for 14dpo would be wise. You're still early on. When is AF due? The spotting isn't heavy or period-like, which is a better sign.

PinkLineDreams11 · 21/07/2025 07:35

Am I crazy or is there a partial line on this hcg test?....

@YKM2829 I’m sorry - it must be so hard being in limbo. I’m glad there’s still a line. I wish we could fast forward a few days how you, in the hopes things were clearer! ❤️

YKM2829 · 21/07/2025 06:24

Thanks to those who offered their luck and thoughts.
Did a normal 10miu test yesterday and still had a line though just the same as the ones previous.
Tempted to do a clear blue digital. But was only around 9 or 10 dpo on the 18th so I'm thinking with that test being 25miu therefore not as sensitive, in waiting a couple more days when I'm properly more around 14dpo?

Still spotting but it's more like discoloured discharge but it's there. It's just like slightly tinged redy/pinky/maybe orangey coloured.

Ectopic in January spotting was more ready and even brown and loads of pain. Don't have pain just maybe twinges...
Very very scared

FarAwayBird · 20/07/2025 23:37

@ForGiddyDreamer Yes! It was yours I’m remembering. Absolutely shocking 😔

ForGiddyDreamer · 20/07/2025 23:21

I should know better by now @Kerrylf I think that's what done it.

Welcome @Starlightnights Im sorry to hear about your loss. Just adding to the CB pregnancy test boycott. I had a shocker of an evap last month. It's in the chat somewhere. I wont use their preg tests anymore. Agree FRER is difficult to get. I'm in Ireland and have to order from UK amazon to get them.

Starlightnights · 20/07/2025 23:16

@Kerrylfit’s just awful what it does to you. Like you say, it’s good to know you’re not alone and others are going through the same. I’m ashamed to say I’ve taken 7 tests since the evap on Friday 🤦‍♀️ I think DP would go mad with how much I’ve spent on tests, so maybe it is best not to order them online just yet 😅 xx

FarAwayBird · 20/07/2025 23:15

Hi everyone! Sorry, I’ve struggled to keep up this week.

Hi @Starlightnights - welcome!

Still can’t believe how bad CB evaps are. It’s cruel. They’re so expensive to be that crap. I think we should all boycott them!

I’m CD13, usually ov CD17 so preparing for a busy 5 days 😆🫠

@NatalieSF best of luck 🤞🏻

@Nightshift110 I would say probably around now. Were you tracking ovulation? Do you have a rough idea when you conceived? As you say though, you may not get one. I've seen lots of people on here never get one and have healthy pregnancies.

No I wasnt really tracking ovulation. Second month of unprotected sex.
So could just be a few days out maybe.

Kerrylf · 20/07/2025 23:03

@Starlightnightsim the exact same. My loss was in late Jan but drawn out towards end of Feb and I have been obsessed with testing ever since, including ovulation. Multiple times a day just in case. It's horrible what it does to you. This community seems to be the only place that understands it xx
