I have a blazing LH test today so I guess we have a few more days of DTD. I know in SMEP there are days you’re supposed to skip… but I don’t really understand if it’s better to NOT do it everyday? It would take the pressure off a bit but I’m scared to miss it 🫣

I was actually told by my GP last week that doing it anymore than once every other day doesn't increase your chances as the sperm needs time to build up and be good again x

@DorsetGirl89 This must be really messing with your head! But I would say from the tests, it looks positive so far and hopefully the docs will give you another blood test possibly?

AF is due for me today or tomorrow and the cramps are pretty intense, I've had no real symptoms that are different to usual PMS and I've had some restraint from testing since 9/10DPO and I feel better for it, just accepting whatever comes feels less heavy. Lets see if this carries on to my next cycle. I really wanted to be pregnant before my loss babies due date in September. I thought it would ease the pain a little. Still one more cycle left before that time though xx

Im honestly unsure if ive even ovulated this cycle because why has my temp dipped to 36.1 this morning! I did only get about 4 hours sleep but can this make it dip so much? From 36.5 to 36.1 seems A little dramatic

@DorsetGirl89 I’m so sorry. It’s the cycle of hope and despair that’s really awful. TTC is so hard anyway - I can’t imagine the pressure of feeling like you need to resume treatment, too. Is the NHS able to offer you any extra fertility support/consultations considering your circumstances?

It’s so hard to know if supplements are helping or hindering. It’s a minefield.

Thinking of you @Nightshift110 - I’m sorry things are stressful right now. I hope you get some rest ahead of tomorrow x

I gave your post a heart just to show my support. Totally heartbroken for you and I really, really hope that your ideas surrounding your endo treatment could prove to be the answer. I hope it’s that simple for you xxx

@ChaE05 great plan, especially if you're working around his nightshift. We likely won't fit tomorrow in as DP is going back to visit his dad in hospital. So we've just the 2 days in this cycle. I think I'm just going to have to be OK with it. Between his dad & the dog, there's been a lot this week. Only takes 1 wee sperm! I have definite ovulation pain this evening which tbh I haven't felt in months.

@Nightshift110 I'm so sorry to read your update. It's just absolutely shit, there's no other word for it.

I’m glad it went back up but I think ideally it needs to go higher than it was before the dip. So we’ll see what the next few days bring. Refuse to test for squinters. Period is due in 4 to 5 days.

They said it probably 1. Too early .

Miscarriage if had bleeding -which I've not.
Ectopic - more likely.

So now to wait for the hospital to ring me in the morning.

A bit sad, but I was expecting something to be wrong because of the tests going up and down , from 2-3 to 1-2, back up again.

@DorsetGirl89sorry I've only just managed to read your post! Ughh how confusing! 😫 but I must say you seem so in tune with your body, I honestly think if you tested in a couple more days that line will be darker. A day really does make a difference. Your line was super faint...so yesterday would probably not have been there at all! The waiting is the frustrating part though. Hugs xx

@ForGiddyDreamerI'm so sorry to hear about your doggy 💔 these animals really do break our hearts don't they. I hope he feels better really soon.
Happy to see you got your static smiley and managed to dtd. I had some ewcm yesterday, but that's quite standard for me to have it so far out. For the last 3 months I've got my static smiley on CD18. I'm only CD13 today. Partner had his Semen analysis this morning and he's on a nightshift tonight and tomorrow....so from Thursday we will dtd every day until ovulation x
