I used a fr this morning and it was negative unfortunately it’s hard to believe i’ll get a positive now as i’ve been doing this for so long I just know how it all goes from here… I start making excuses as to why it’s still negative until I get my period an it’s just draining even when I don’t test I convince myself i’m pregnant then the bfn is more painful xx😔

SureLook · 25/07/2025 14:58

@ChaE05 yeah, surely this wasn't an issue before. I know it's hard but try to stay off Google cause it will probably stress you out even more. Hopefully your partner will hear back soon with more detail and you can take this with you to a consultant. I really don't think that all hope is lost x

Esssa · 25/07/2025 14:56

1dpo here too @FarAwayBird @DoubleDandelion How many days do you usually get for your luteal phase? I usually get 12 days though it's predicted to be 13 for some reason this month. I'm away 8-11 dpo and I have enough to take with me I should just wait till I get home to test. I usually just temp and not test but I don't know how being away will affect that.

I've caught up with the messages and some of you have been dealt a truly shit hand. Fingers crossed for peace and bfps to all who search for it.

@DorsetGirl89my lovely...thank you for that. It's so nice to hear positive stories. The frustrating thing is they didn't put the percentage! But did for everything else. It just says that lower limits are negative or <50. So I know it's over 50 but that's all! Partner has emailed them and asked to provide details. All his other results were in range which is good..although things could be improved. Morphology was just 4% and I know that's the low side of normal. So hopefully if he continues the supplements and healthy lifestyle that will improve. I just feel so deeply and get consumed by it all.
Also... I have just read your posts and my heart 💔 honestly I'm so sorry for you. But I know your positivity will just get you through. I'm actually in awe of how you handle everything thrown at you. We are all here. Everyone going through this shit show together 🙃 sending love xx

Hey ladies...sorry I'm yet to catch up on the thread. Will have a read through shortly.
Had my partners Semen Analysis results back and it's not great news 😪 mostly everything is within the normal parameters, however there is a MAR test which after a Google is a test for antisperm antibodies. And it'd come back positive. This basically means that his immune system is attacking the sperm and stops fertilisation 😔 feel so upset, haven't stopped crying all morning. From goggling alot, I think the only option is IVF. Positive for antibodies is usually because of trauma or infection. It can be seen in those that have had vasectomy. Just feel so low now. Didn't even know this was a thing and nothing can be done x

Sorry to hear this. At least IVF is an option? How are you feeling about that pathway? 🙏

ChaE05 · 25/07/2025 14:03

@SureLookyes we will book a consultant to discuss the results and find out our options. I had 2 miscarriages in Feb and March. And my son is only 20 months old. So i assume my partner didn't have this then? As it says online the sperm is unable to fertilise the egg. So many questions and emotions right now. I hate this journey xx

SureLook · 25/07/2025 13:56

@amey44 sorry, it's so crap. It takes so much from us but we will get there ❤️

@ChaE05 I'm so sorry to hear that. That's very upsetting. Is there anyone you can speak to about it? I know you said there's nothing that can be done but maybe a professional might have something?

It’s so unfair isn’t it my partners sperm is the reason we haven’t conceived and it’s so so awful to hear especially because it’s out of your control 😣

Honestly feeling so crappy I feel like i’m never going to see two lines on a test:/ I think I honestly must’ve ovulated CD 22 when I had spotting because if it was implantation i’d have at least a smidge of a positive test by now:// honestly just feeling so done with ttc it affects my mood so much I hate it

Sending you positive energy and compassion. I feel similar to you and find it so hard, frustrating and disheartening but try to be kind to yourself. You’re doing the best you can.

@FarAwayBird sorry to hear you're feeling defeated, it's hard x

@Mummysparrow I've also heard that statistic. It's frightening isn't it 😯

@hollyhocks2 glad to hear at least the scan showed everything else is OK.

@DorsetGirl89 I'm so sorry. You've been so positive and optimistic and so lovely on the thread. Do pop back in every now and then x

@EmPeEf keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

@PeonyPatch you made the right decision for you at the time and that's what was best. It will happen for you!

Kerrylf · 25/07/2025 12:20

@DorsetGirl89sending you all the love right now. 💞 xx

PeonyPatch · 25/07/2025 11:06

I fell pregnant at 19, but we didn’t continue to pregnancy as I was going to university at the time (with my current husband) so we are finding this ttc journey particularly sensitive :( it’s hard when you’re older isn’t it, I think I took fertility for granted a bit too much, but we wanted to be in the right financial position

hollyhocks2 · 25/07/2025 08:36

@DorsetGirl89 I am so sorry. Even if the bloods didn't pick it up, you know you were pregnant again, albeit sadly so briefly. You're in such a difficult position, I really wish you clarity, strength and peace as you navigate your dilemma and figure out the best way forward. Thank you for your support on here, you come across as such a warm positive resilient person and I know that will carry you through whatever lies ahead ❤️

@DorsetGirl89 I’m totally crushed for you 😔 You’re always in here, supporting us and taking the time to read our posts and respond at length. You deserved so much more this cycle, I’m so sorry. You’re a real inspiration though; I know that’s not much consolation. Whilst you take a break please know that we care for you and wish you nothing but the best going forward xx

Good to hear you’re still registering a line @DorsetGirl89 Have you thought about taking a one off temperature to give an idea of your progesterone is still going strong? Mine seems to going higher which I’m taking as a good sign. Just not sure when to consider myself 4 weeks because no sure of how many dpo. I just want to get past today and into tomorrow and then that’ll be further than I got back in May.
