Hope it’s not too early to start this! For anyone trying in May, and “out” for April.

By some miracle I did fall pregnant this month after over a year TTC but it ended in a chemical just before 5 weeks. I’d tried some new things last cycle (inc baby aspirin and L’arginine, using preseed and doing a daily morning walk!) so going to try all of that again this month and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 don’t know when I’ll ovulate yet but I imagine it’ll be right at the end of April…

Yes, I’ve done that before though and have got a Solid Smiley the same day I got a Flashing Smiley. The Flashing Smiley resets after a couple of minutes and the screen gets blank again, I also have like three sets of tests so It’s not the same holder for every test ❤️

Yes easy @ home are great! I do use clearblue when I'm getting close to ovulation as I like to confirm with the smiley face lol

@MayaBi feel your pain, I feel quite sad right now too. I get a scan picture weekly from people
around me and I also sit here and think is it ever going to be me getting a bfp!! It’s a hard journey! I think next cycle il take a more relaxed approach as I agree I need a break. Haw many cycles in are you and is this for baby no1? Keep strong 🩷

I tottaly get this. I was just telling my husband the other day that I feel really exhausted emotionally 😢* *
And on top of this everyone around me has been announcing their pregnancies in the last few days! I mean everyone lol I am not even exaggerating. Even though of course I am happy for them I keep thinking: Is my turn going to come ever? Hubby and I even had a little cry the other night. 😢 This is why I don't track ovulation some cycles. I just feel like I need a break sometimes.

My cousin never got a peak or anything but a circle and she’s 27 weeks now from that cycle. They can malfunction. Go by EWCM and bbt. Also I am a slow riser with bbt and so it may take a couple of days to rise even though you’ve already ovulated! X

to join but I suspect I am out this cycle and looking to join you all! TTC #1 cycle 5 once this one has ended. I’m 36 with low AMH so feeling the pressure!

Morning ladies. Coming over from the April thread. AF came this morning. I'm glad I didn't test now and I just waited. I'm not feeling down like I felt last month. I had some quite strong cramps on Friday and Saturday which is unusual for me before AF. I think things are still settling down after my MMC. How is everyone getting on?

@ThisZippyViewerthat sounds spot on! you want EWCM during the whole time you are fertile as opposed to just when your ovulating as sperm can live upto 5days so actually thats spot on- having it from CD12-CD19 gives you five days before ovulation and 48hours after - sounds very healthy!

Girls, I am now officially in my 2WW (providing I've tracked my ovulation correctly). AF due around May the 3rd. I don't tend to test early. In fact I only test if my period is late (which never really happens) but I might test early this time to see if it makes it easier. I just hate seeing negative tests 😢I don't know what to do anymore. Do you find it easier if you test early and see a negative? I simply wait for AF and hold on to the hope for a little longer....

I'm with @BerrieSweet , I used to test early but now wait for my temperature to drop - happens before AF arrives. I hate seeing a stark white pregnancy test so don't want to see that multiple times in the tww.

I'm CD8 today and I feel really fed up, which is unusual for me, usually at this point I'm ready to try again, I just feel a bit deflated with it all this month 😭. I usually ovulate between CD17 and 19 so hopefully will snap out of it soon, I just feel really exhausted!

Hoping to join, 2 week wait for me now.
Was in January thread but ended in EP.
This will be my second if I can catch on again 🤞
Dd is 7 next month.
Due af on 3rd May so Ill be testing from 28th probs.
I'm a massive over tester 😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ but I found out with my first and the January one bfp at 8 dpo and 9dpo so 🤞🤞🤞

Oh, the 2WW isn’t for the weak. I’ll be entering it in 2–3 days. Currently lying down with my legs in the air after getting a flashing smiley for three days in a row — hopefully I’ll peak tonight or tomorrow. Last cycle, I didn’t test as early or as often as I usually do, and it was actually really nice — I wasn’t as obsessed with TTC and my thoughts were on other stuff. A BFN could totally ruin my day, even at 8 DPO. I think I’ll do the same this time around. ❤️

Hi! Can I join??

I have a FET next month, probably around the last week of May (I think!), due to start AF around the 4th May. This is my first FET.. we were very lucky to have a successful fresh transfer after IVF in 2022. So we’re ready to try again now with one of our frozen embys.
The FB group that transpired from the last Mumsnet TTC group is still active & was so crucial to me in those early days and even now! Hoping to create another lasting bond with you ladies again ♥️ wishing us all SO much luck!

Feeling very anxious this time around as I know we were so lucky last time & feel like I have set such low expectations now.

is this normal? And would you start with DTD as soon as im seeing it or is this too early should I be waiting for closer to the LH peak?

Ive only started using premom this month and LH today was 0.28 so saying its still very low - CD11 and ewcm has started

My understanding is EWCM/fertile mucus is present for a while before, because sperm can then survive until ovulation. Hence fertile window can be 5 days before ovulation. I think the more the better! I get it 3-5 days before OPK peak, but mine is quite scant. Sounds like yours is good! The advice is to go for it whenever you have EWCM. @BerrieSweetideally from CD1 but it still helps if you start it now in readiness for implantation. Ive just ordered some but doubt we will even try this month due to being busy for easter in my fertile window/ no alone time at all! im due to ovulate in 2days so i should get a move on but im ok if we dont! gna start asap if we find the time to try x
